Founded in 1930, Dedicated to the restoration and upholster of fine wood furniture using handcrafted, traditional methods. The firm has been involved with some extremely high-profile jobs, including the chair of Pope John Paul and the Sotheby's auction for the estate of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. among our customers: Delorenzo , Macklowe Gallery, Karl Kemp, Donzella, Retro Modern, L'Art De Vivre....and more The firm's craftsmen excel in both contemporary and antique restorations and are adept with lacquer, polyurethane, antique white, French polish, custom color and custom finishes. Vitanza uses only the finest materials to reupholster furniture, from fabrics appropriate to the period to horsehair stuffing and coil springs.
