dont ask them to come to service at your place as even if they see the unit from outside they are going to charge for the service. it does not matter if they dont do anything to your unit,so you be prepared to pay them whether they work or not on the unit.

This is the letter I sent to Shivani Refrigeration & A/C on July 10th 2013 by Certified Mail, and signed by B.Boodhoe Please be advised that I am writing this letter to express concern regarding an air conditioner that was picked up from my home by your company on 6/3/2013, and returned as per a warranty agreement with P.C. Richard & Son. At the time of initial pick up, your technician identified as Tafari was very abrupt and rude to me. Upon entering my home, and room where the air conditioner was cooling, he immediately stated that "This room is cool", so "What is your problem?" I explained that the air conditioner cooled some times, and other times it did not. The functioning of the unit was inconsistent! After my explanation, he removed that air conditioner and then attempted to leave my home without giving me a receipt to verify that the unit had actually been picked up. At this point, he grudgingly gave me a ticket and left. From the time that Tafari entered my home until he left, he appeared to be experiencing a bad day. His negative attitude was quite apparent. It should be noted that Tafari and I had never met prior to this June 3rd 2013 date, and I was concerned as to why he entered my home with such a negative attitude. On July 2nd 2013 the air conditioner that was taken from my home on June 3rd 2013 was returned, ( as per agreement with P.C. Richard & Sons ) was significantiy damaged and certainly not in the condition that it was when it was originally taken out of my home. Based on the damage of the air conditioner on the return date, I question what happened to the unit? Was the damage the result of negligent transport, or deliberate damage on the part of Tafari? Iam a disabled senior citizen incapable of inflicting the extensive damage on the air conditioner in question. I suggest that you speak with Tafari regarding this inquiry/concern. Be assured that Tafari's attitude can only serve to reflect negatively on your business as a contracting out service affiliated with P.C. Richard & Sons. Additionally, monitoring agencies and social media does not look favorably on the maltreatment of the consumer. The damage to the air conditioner was so extensive, that it could not be repaired and P.C.Richard & Sons would not replace it or honor the warranty leaving me with NOTHING! After spending all afternoon, telling my story so many times, to different people, Ms. Pam Mays from P.C. Richard & Sons offered me an exchange. My warranty was voided, and I had to buy a new warranty with my new air conditioner.
Description of Work: Nothing! They didn't want to hear any thing I had to say, The company said the air conditioner arrived to their shop badly damaged.

Went OK. 2 Technicians arrived within the agreed-upon time frame. They examined the unit, and told me what they thought was wrong about it, and what they could do about it.
Description of Work: Diagnosis of problem with adequate cooling coming from a window air conditioning unit. They are Authorized Service Providers for Friedrich Air Conditioners.
