He and his helper speckled and painted an apartment - He did a good job and left the apartment clean.

Kevin did a great job - he went above and beyond what I expected. Very meticulous and detail oriented. Highly recommended.

I got so much more than I bargained for with Shamrock Painting...in the very best way possible! Kevin was so very professional every step of the way. He was extremely accommodating in terms of scheduling and service date. Kevin made sure that I knew well ahead of time, what was needed, what had to be prepared, and what to expect when he got there. There were absolutely no surprises along the way. Kevin was so punctual the two days of the contracted work that I could have set my watch by his arrival! He was efficient, arduous, extremely thorough and as I mentioned before, very, very helpful. I am not at all astute at color selection or matching of decor with colors. Kevin was more than happy to give me his opinion on what colors should go on what walls and what future colors should be chosen (for my living room...and believe me, I will absolutely have Shamrock Painting do that job as well!). Kevin knew that clearing out my bedroom was a troubling task. He took no longer than necessary to get the work done so as not to inconvenience me further. I am so appreciative for his kindness and consideration. When Kevin first showed up, I was only going to paint the bedroom and figured that I would never be able to fill the 16 hours contracted time. He advised me that he would most certainly be able to do the bedroom (with two coats!) in a day and also get the entire hallway and front foyer done. I am so appreciative for his honesty, integrity, and service. I would highly recommend Shamrock Painting to all. In fact, I had asked Kevin to send me further information so I can recommend him to others in my condominium.

Overall well, it took a while to arrange as he was busy He responded fairly well He was nice and pleasant to interact with He finished the job in one day which was convenient although not the full hours He had insurance and provided paperwork which is very professional There were some spots that paint could have been checked and improved but it was minimal. The Brick is hard to paint as there are many pits. We purchased paint and had to purchase a ladder for him to use. That was a little inconvenient but minor. It took a while to get keys back but that was simple human error. Overall I liked him and would trust and use him again.

He did a decent job. It was a little smudgy but other than that it was a very good job. I don’t have too many complaints. I purchased the big deal to get the good price. It was pretty fair. He just painted the walls and nothing else. He said doing the ceiling and the trim were extra. It was never mentioned in my previous contact with him. I had to provide the paint, cover of the furniture and the ladder. You have to ask the questions but you have to be specific in what you want done. The ceiling and the trim are part of the room so I’m thinking that that is being painted also but that wasn’t the case. That wasn’t included. As far as workmanship, it was professional enough. He did a very good job. Pricing was very reasonable. He responded when I called him. I felt that it was his responsibility to inform me ahead of time of what was included in the job.

They were willing to come right away, but that didn't work for our schedule. We still want the work done. They have been very responsive.

The company advertised via Angie's List that they serviced Westchester. Unfortunately, when I went to set up the appointment, they said they really did not, but could possibly do so for an additional $50. Would not recommend.

Due to scheduling issues I had to request a refund for the service.

I bought the paint, stepladders and other supplies which brought the cost of the job up to $997.00. Kevin supplied tools.

The work was done well very professional

It was not a positive experience, I told him I needed it done before Christmas and he arranged to get back with me but he hasn't.

I appreciated that Kevin did thorough prep work, filling holes and cracks etc before starting the actual painting. He is a very efficient and neat worker. I will definitely use him for other jobs.

He was prompt and very professional. He came at 8:30 in the morning and worked until 8:30 at night in order to finish the job, as it is a very large bathroom. He really went out of his way to do a superb job, and I really appreciate his effort and hard work. It turned beautiful! He also cleaned up really well when the job was done. I would definitely use him again.

The job went very well. We originally estimated a 3 day job, but Kevin was able to do the job in only two. I even had to change the scope to include the ceiling during the job and not only was his rate fair, he was still able to finish ahead of schedule. This job was very straightforward, so can't say that every job will be as fast, but my experience was positive. The paint looks good, nod drips or splotches and he left the work space clean.

Two men prepped and painted 12 by 11 size bedroom. Kevin and his friend did a very good job. Prepping the room took longer than expected so the project went overtime and I was asked to pay for extra two hours of work. The finished work looked great and they left the room clean and tidy.

Kevin is reliable and responsible. It took us a while to figure out a date for the job (since it was only a one day job) but he stayed in touch with me as we searched for a day that would be convenient for both of us. Kevin provided me with a list of everything I needed to buy. He showed up on time, and completely the job exactly when he said he would. The room looks great, price was great and he is a pleasure to work with.

The hallway looks very nice- the work is crisp, neat and smooth. The reason for the B instead of A for Overall and Professionalism: we realized after Kevin left that edge of the doors where they meet the frames had not been painted, so that when the door is open there is a jarring contrast between the outside and edge. We should have caught this ourselves, but it makes an otherwise very good paint job look shoddy when you open your front door. Maybe the edge of the front door does not count in painter estimates but one would think he would have wanted the job to look right. Also, he works very slowly. He is meticulous, which is good, but everything took much longer than he or we expected, and although he had previewed the job to make sure he could do it within the five days of the contract, he was a little cranky when it ended up taking a bit longer. Kevin kept us regularly informed as to when he would be coming in. He stored his tools neatly and cleaned up each night. He worked quietly. And he was very responsive when our coop board required a notarized letter along with his insurance certificate.

The wallpaper was difficult to remove but Kevin and his crew were able to do so successfully, and plaster over areas that needed repair. The walls were then painted and look beautiful. I found that I needed to add molding and Kevin was able to connect me with an excellent carpenter who completed the job in a timely and professional manner.

Kevin responded immediately after I purchased the deal, and was very accommodating as the project progressed (I needed some additional work done). The whole apartment looks renewed and the paint was applied very well. Project was completed in timely manner.

Kevin was great. He was timely and followed through on everything we discussed. His plastering and sanding were so well done I can't even see where the holes were originally!! He was patient and accommodating--didn't even stop for lunch!
