Very well. I would highly recommend him. The last time I called, he was in the middle of a bathroom renovation, and was not able to handle my issue -- I say this just to note that he does do bigger jobs than the kind of thing I have called him for.

This work was done a few years ago, and everything went very well. I have observed this contractor's work on a neighbor's property and noted the professionalism of his crew and his close supervision and personal attention to detail.

Tom is very flexible and helps walk through renovation options. He was able to answer all our questions related to plumbing, electrical and construction.

No response. Did not return two calls. This is a minor job and it should be done locally, because it’s a small job I don’t think he thought it was worth it in time or work because of the travel and the $14 toll to get here from New York. He could have at least given me the courtesy of responding to the call to let me know he didn’t want to take the job, it’s okay that he didn’t want to take it, I just wish he’d called me back.

They took my cash and finished the job and noticed there was a crack in the bottom of the bracket. I asked them to fix this and they said no and went on. Asked for a bill several times and he refused. He is a double talker and I believe took my money and didn't do the job correctly. I ordered the part myself. Cant believe he has an licence. He just stands around. Made us wait to long due to having other jobs.

Mr Fixit did a great job of tearing out a badly rotted-out porch, and then installing new joists, flooring, and railings/spindles.. He quoted 2.5 days for the job, and finished as quoted. The quality of the work was very good, and they nicely cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend the company.

Start was delayed but high quality work. Excellent supervision of workers. Worth the cost. We are planning to collect another list of small jobs and have him back.

He did a really good job. The picture is still in place and I am going to use him again for other projects.

Nothing else to say. Even though it's the same telephone number I did not call the Spencer Avenue address. I called their other address also located in Nyack.

Tom, owner of Mr. Fix-it, appeared right on time, with 2 workers, and they all went straight to work. Any tools needed were retrieved from their truck. Tasks were completed without any complications, with Tom himself doing much of the work.

The raccoons had pulled up a portion of the roof. He had to cut, shape, install, caulked, prime and paint to repair the soffit, or the trim on the roof. He also caulked and painted the other side to match. He caulked windows, and painted portions of the wall and the leader that leads to the gutters.

Mr. Fixit was punctual. His work is clean. His crew is hard working and cooperative. He is also very professional.

Everything I asked , then offered to do more because he finished up so fast. He was absolutely professional and friendly. Also, he double checked with me before he placed a nail , if correct height and placement I wanted. I would definitely use him again. In fact I have seen a few things already I want to have done by him. I've found my handyman , there is no reason to look further.

They were great. Always on time, on schedule, on budget, and the home always clean at the end of each day. I give them my highest recommendation.

He arrived on time, along with his worker Alfredo. they brought the materials that were needed even though i did not specify what to bring. they worked quickly and quietly, not wasting a moment. they worked cleanly and also left the work areas very clean when they finished, and most of all, they did a gorgeous job. I feel as if I have three new bathrooms and a new kitchen. it is amazing what a difference perfectly applied caulk and grout and silicone make . I will definitely use mr fixit again -- to paint or paper a powder room, to organize the garage, to install a ceiling light fixture, and to install a hand held shower head. we discussed all of those jobs and he said he could do them. I discussed one other job with him -- fixing a special light fixture -- and i appreciate that he said he could not do it because he was not familiar with this type of [european ] fixture. i would rather be told that than have someone undertake a job and tinker and guess and waste my time and money. so I highly recommend mr. fixit, without reserve. thank you angie's list

I purchased this service as an Angies List Deal and it was a real bargain. Tom contacted me immediately and was very generous in accommodating my schedule. He and Alberto (his assistant) are amazing! I had previously had insulation installed and needed to have the holes painted - they realized the the insulation guys had used a plastic filler that was not taking the paint very well and they re-spackled with plaster and everything looks perfect. In addition, they put together 2 bookcases and a metal shelving unit and re-siliconed 2 sinks. They cleaned up everything after. They are absolutely terrific and I am already preparing my next list of "honey-do" items for them!

Too difficult to get contractor to commit to a date to do the repairs. Kept flipping days back and forth. Contractor stated he was too busy at this time of year. Also, complained that it was too long a trip. Looks like he would be coming to Long Island from the Bronx. Deal was too good to be true. Please refund my money.

As I said, they were so efficient that, as they completed several jobs, Tom kept asking, "What else do you have?" Great attitude. Great quality workmanship. Left everything spotless. Of course when he left, I thought of more things he could have done! That's OK, I'm sure I'll have him back soon.

I purchased the $199 Handyman for a day big deal. The service provider reached out to me a day after the purchase and asked what I wanted done. I told him that I needed an exhaust fan put in my bathroom. He wrote back saying that it was a two day $2,000 job and explained the work he needed to do, including running electrical wiring, installation, painting etc. I told him that the wiring was already there and that I would paint. He then quoted me a price of $1250 for the job. I decided to wait to have the work done since I originally thought that 8 hours of labor from the big deal should have been enough to complete this project and could not spend the additional money at this point.
