Jamie did some work for me last year (review on Yelp). He was, and still is, the best! He's friendly and informed without sacrificing professionalism. He's efficient, knowledgeable and thorough, a true asset to Larry's Locksmith & Hardware. They responded quickly to my inquiry and their prices are quite reasonable. I would not hesitate to call on them again in the future and would, without a doubt, recommend both Jamie and Larry the Locksmith, hands down.

They changed the door lock which was to difficult for me to put it in as well as install a new a new door arm.

They were very professional, on time and reasonably priced. I have referred them to others and would not hesitate to use them again.

They quickly identified the problem and were able to install a temp lock as a new lock body had to be ordered. When the new one arrived it couldn't be installed as the original hardware was old and the manufacturer changed specs. They had to get a slightly different model and customize it to fit. Very pleased with quality work and being able to find solution that worked since replacing whole door or entire locking system would have been much more expensive.

They listened to my description of the problem when I called, asked a few questions so they would have the right materials, and made an appointment promptly for the next day. Their tech Jamie called and confirmed it was okay to arrive… early! He also listened to my description, disassembled the entire unit, showed me what was wrong, and fixed it. What more could you ask? No hard sell for a new lock, no parts, just the service call, price as quoted. These guys are the Real Deal. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

They were responsive with emails and phone calls and courteous. The locksmith showed up on time (we live in Inwood) and worked quickly and efficiently. Jaime takes pride in his work and it shows. Front door works just fine now!

Excellent service! Jamie and his assistant were very manor able, patient and they specifically explained things to me. They answered all of my questions and responded with knowledge and professionalism. They even cleaned up before they left. I would highly recommend their services to anyone!

I called Mary the Locksmith before arriving and inquired into making an appt. She told me no appts necessary and I could just walk in. I arrived 20 minutes later. Another employee went and retrieved her and I was in and out in under 10 minutes. She was fast/efficient and pleasant. Thank you so much!!

Jacob, the locksmith, spent one hour and a half doing this work. I called the store at 07:45 am in the morning - there was a message stating the number of the locksmith. Called him and he immediately picked up the phone, advised me to call the store at 09:05 am to place the work order and that he would be at my house between 10:00 and 11:00 AM. I did as he instructed, the people at the store gave me an estimate for the work, they were courteous and professional. Jacob called me to give me his estimate time of his estimated time of arrival of arrival when he was on the road. He also was courteous and professional and diligent about his work. I must say that this business from my experience caters to their clients. I have a locksmith not more than 2 minutes from my home but decided not to use them as the last time I was in their store, they were acting as if they were doing me a favor by making duplicate keys. So I decided to go on Angie's List and look for another vendor and am very happy I did. I am very pleased with Jacob and Larry The Locksmith Store.

Previously I had gone with an after hours locksmith that did not do a good job and could not locate to come and fix what he dad done. This time I went to the top rated locksmith on angieslist. Very glad I did. He went beyond what the original job called for. He not just opened the door but explained to my wife and I why the cylinder had rotated. Overall, a very good experience.

I could give a triple A rating, Larry the Locksmith would get it! As I pulled my security door shut yesterday evening, the knob came off in my hand. There was no way to lock the door or open it except with a key. I found Larry the Locksmith Co. on Angie's List and called them. They had me email pictures of my security door problem. In addition, I had a long-term problem with my inside door lock (90-year-old restored door) so I included photos of that too. They gave me an estimate of $300.00 for both doors, which I thought was fair, and said someone would come between 7 and 8 the same night. At 7 PM the repairman rang my bell. The repairman was very competent, efficient and cordial and came with an awesome array of tools. He replaced the broken doorknobs on my security door and lubricated the lock. On my inside door, he adjusted the hinge (which straightened the door in the frame), secured the cylinder, and properly attached the striker plate, filing it down so that it functioned properly and lubricating that lock also. He accomplished all of this in 30 minutes. He gave me a detailed receipt including a 3-month guarantee. The bill totaled about $170 including tax. I would not hesitate to recommend the company or to hire them again!

The locksmith arrived early and got straight to work. He assessed the situation and came up with a viable solution. Two holes were drilled and two locks installed within an hour. Locksmith explained how to operate the locks, what the warranties were and how to handle any issues which may come up in the future. All-in-all I am very pleased with the company, Larry the Locksmith.

Jamie was very helpful. He was on time and did what he needed to do. He was a wonderful worker that I would highly recommend to perform in other peoples houses.

Throughout they were friendly, professional and helpful. When I rang them the office asked me to send photographs of the locks and they were able to tell me exactly what I needed and how much it would cost. They didn't try to sell me anything fancy, and gave me exactly what i needed. Their locksmith (Jamie) was great - professional and friendly. Really happy with their service from start to finish.

Joe went above and beyond--not only replacing the lock that was broken but also replacing missing screws in the door hinge and even adjusting the door itself. Excellent work! Very professional!

Everything was okay, they came out when they were supposed to, and they were on time. They did what they were supposed to do. They charged the same price as most locksmiths.
