Gomez Cleaning

I was grateful that she took my call on New Year's day and that she could come in at short notice, the next day. When I asked her on the phone about her rates she said she would take a look at the house before quoting me, but that she would 'give me a good price'. She and her son, came the next day with their cleaning van and were very friendly and nice. But she quoted me $500 for an empty 1200 sq foot home that had already been cleaned once by my contractors clean up crew. I got her down to $200 although I am told that $150 was what I should have paid. The work was very sloppy, incomplete and she ended up breaking 3-4 windows while attempting to open them for cleaning. The windows all have streaks on them. She had not cleaned the inside of any cabinets or appliances in the kitchen or bathroom. On my insistence she came back the next day to do the above. I had to clean up after her, the washer and dryer, fireplace, as well as many doors that she had neglected. Again, they were nice folks, but I do feel like I received lousy value for money spent.

Sandra was recommended by a friend of hers who is also a cleaner. Sandra has come twice on short-notice (1-2 days) and done an excellent and professional job both times. She provided an estimate for the move-in cleaning, which was a significant amount of work, and it was done very well. She returned any calls within a day, and her prices for services are quite reasonable.
