Empire State Moving

I had used them once before and I thought they were really fantastic the first time, this time they were good but they weren't outstanding. They were pricier and I think they were newer when I used them seven or eight years ago, they gave me a price cap and they kept to it but this time they didn't and it was more expensive than I expected albeit we had more stuff and it was a difficult and complicated move and they coordinated pretty well they coordinated well, the interface was not quiet as responsive this time around and they sort of charge a little bit more assiduously like very single little thing.But we had a lot of stuff so it's like I know there's stuff you can't predicted and it struck me that the crew that worked on my first move with them we really liked efficient and rapid like the speed of light and we came in and were out, time efficient in a way that made them a little better value and this time around they were kind of if the crew was a little bit more you know moving a long, I'm that kind of person who watches that kind of thing and it kind of disappointed me. There a lot worst out there and their honest their well intention and their kind of by a large, their good guys. it just wasn't a steler thing at the time. The best part I think is that some of the staff I had met before were very friendly and easy to work with, but certainly the office staff like the people who set it up and quote you and all that kind of thing, most of the movers were I mean everyone was perfectly acceptable it's just the highlight would be the service the people who ran it are easy to work with, their friendly their knowledgeable, the lower point was the price and the sort of value for hourly dollar.

I was not especially happy with the crew and they ran 4 hours over the estimate of 7 hours. They were also careless with some of the furniture which wound up scratched. I complained to the head office and they took a chunk of the cost off the top which I found satisfactory.

Moving Man Inc arrived promptly this morning. They called before they arrived. The men were extremely hard working, very respectful, courteous and generous with their help. They made this move very pleasant and easy for me.

It went excellently. The people on the job were great at it. They were courteous, helpful and friendly, not to mention fast.

We were able to schedule a move within days of calling Moving Man after speaking with Eric at Moving Man Inc. Nelson and Danny arrived on time. They accessed the job & got right to work, The item was moved, travel time was nominal and the unload and placement was seamless. This is the third time we have used this company, staff and the service is always outstanding. This was a relatively small job compared to the first two. We continue to be impressed every time we contract this company for a move. Excellent. This is a stressful choice to make -movers, and we checked reviews and these guys came in best in all ways. Showed up on time for in house estimate, gave an accurate estimate, very responsive. They packed kitchen, bedrooms and kids play room. They professionally packed pictures and fragile items. They give a base estimate and do not up-charge for boxes, tape or any of that nonsense. When it turned out I had underestimated the amount of packing and materials in the storage unit, they jumped out, and packed it up like no big deal, no up charge. Guys work hard, know the logistics of moving from NYC buildings and storage units, took apart and put back together big pieces of furniture, and were very careful with little fragile stuff that only mattered to my 10 year old daughter. Price was spot on. Everyone was great. Vladimir I think the manager and original estimate guy) was (a little) gruff and too the point, but super accurate and responsive, etc. The guys in charge of the move in both NYC and NH were total pros and the guys lifting and packign were as well. Great choice for me. I tipped out them all and would use them for my next move.

Danny and his crew were outstanding professionals. They were fast and efficient and did everything with a smile on their faces.

We moved from Bergen County NJ to North Port Fl. They came out and gave us an estimate. We compared it to the other estimates we received. They were a lot lower and that was without insurance, which we didn't have to pay for because we're members of Angie's List. Moving day they pulled in front at about 10:30 with a full size Moving van, our street wasn't the widest. The driver and 3 others introduced themselves, asked us questions about what we wanted, told us how they operated, walked around inside and out of our house preparing on how to load, and went to work. They had to disassemble some of our furniture and told us we were missing hardware suggesting that when we got to Fl try to get what was missing. We packed up almost everything beforehand. They packed up furniture, TV's and some electronics. They worked until after 7 because we had more than was estimated. They filled the whole truck! The driver was the one who was taking the van to Fl. We arrived in Fl sooner than expected and called about a delivery date, about a week later our friend the driver pulls up with 2 helpers. They unloaded our cargo putting it where we requested. Unfortunately we had a little damage. The driver apologized and gave us a list of places to call for estimates and repairs. The people that came to do the repairs were also very professional and even gave us a website to go to for parts if needed (our dining room hutch is no longer made). We submitted our claim to Wheaton and about a week ago received a check for the full amount and a letter of apology! WE RECOMMEND MOVING MAN 110%!!!

3 movers showed up on time and worked quickly. We moved from an apartment to a house, and the house presented difficulties due to narrow and steep stairs. The furniture was handled with care. Movers were professional and courteous. The price was close to what we were originally quoted.

The early job ran over, just as soon as they arrived they went above & beyond to move me quickly. They were very very professional & very nice. They were very careful of my things & took a lot of trouble to move them safely.

Moving Man, Inc was thoroughly professional and an absolutely pleasure to work with. Eric and the rest of the team were consistently detail oriented and responsive from start to finish. I was even able to organize my move while I was traveling overseas, and when I arrived back at my new apartment, everything was waiting for me exactly as I requested and perfectly ordered. I would use this company again in a heartbeat and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Great! They were on time, they were very nice, and they were good at their work.

The team was on time, friendly and very professional (Dani M, Jose L, Erick G). They safely packed and boxed the content of my one bedroom apartment. When the boxes arrived in California there was no damage to any items. We had a lot of stemmed glassware, vases, expensive wall mirrors and framed artwork under glass and all the items arrived in perfect condition. I would highly recommend Moving Man for packing and moving. They are wonderful.

The move was excellent! No issues whatsoever. All the guys were smart and a perfect job moving, wrapping and unpacking!
