We have used the company for two projects and during each of the projects, one was putting up additional framing to split a room and the other was installation of a new kitchen counter. The work was completed in a quick efficient manner and they left the workplace clean. Given that we had very specific requirements of the work, we were please in how they were punctual and were willing to work with us to ensure that items were built correctly. We felt the pricing was fair given the work requested and I would definitely use again for future projects.

We used Champion Home Remodeling for our two large projects in 2018. The work was extensive - the complete remodel of the outside of our home which included new stairs, new landing, fences and two gates. All throughout the project, Danny Vitulli, the owner was on site and available by phone with any questions we had. His knowledge and his attitude were stellar - his advice worked many a time. At the same time of the front renovation, we had him install new garage doors with remotes, clean, repair and apply new finishes to the floors. EVERYTHING was done to what we wanted and it turned out beautiful. We are so happy with the results and the turnaround time was as promised, even though the house kept revealing problems. Danny is meticulous to the last detail which was great. We were always able to reach him, he returned calls almost immediately. This was an extensive set of projects (plumbing, electrical, masonry work and product installation) and was a considerable expense for us. Danny worked within our budget and suggested the best materials for what we needed. I would recommend Champion Home Remodeling to anyone. We will definitely use him again and I'm confident in making this recommendation.

Danny and his crew were extremely professional. He was honest and reliable. They did a wonderful job with the renovation and Danny went above and beyond with helping to make suggestions when we were being indecisive. Did a great job rewiring all of the cables and awesome job refinishing hardwood floors. A little pricey but they definitely did more than a solid job! Would use again and would recommend.

My roof leaked for years; I hired at least 3 different contractors, none of which stopped my leaky roof. I was at my wits end & then I found Champion Home Remodeling. I initially thought I needed a whole new roof but after going up on the roof with his expert roofers, Danny took pics of my roof & explained that all they needed to do was mend all the problem areas & that I didn't need a whole roof replacement. I also had windows installed by Champion. Danny is very honest & thorough...I will be calling him again to repair a basement door & frame.

Never called me or messaged me back

This is the third time I have used Champion for a major job, and I couldn’t be happier. We had water penetrating from the wall and floor of our garage, and finally decided that it was coming up through the concrete. The garage floor was 80 years old and only an inch thick. I worked with Danny on a scope that addressed the garage floor, the rear concrete deck, the sidewalk, and also provided painting and finishing in the garage. He was very patient while working out the scope and cut back or found much cheaper solutions for parts of the job. As usual, during the work Danny called me every day (how often can you say that about a contractor) to let me know the status or check on decisions. He recommended a more durable screen door replacement and he also replaced an existing light fixture at no charge. We identified some additional drainage problems that contributed to the leakage, and quickly agreed to an expanded scope to cover drain repairs at a reasonable price. His crew were extremely considerate, timely, reliable and knowledgeable. All of his recommendations were solid, and he worked hard to accommodate our budget. Where he couldn’t, he was absolutely correct in recommending a slightly more expensive solution to address unexpected conditions. Today we have a watertight garage (which I thought would never be possible) that is clean, painted and useful. We were able to park our car in it, avoiding a major snowstorm, for the first time in ten years. Heavy rainstorms have not produced water inside. Danny is trustworthy and reliable and we are pleased with the work of each member of his team.

Danny and his guys were tasked with completely remodeling the second floor of our house and creating a master bathroom suite where previously two bedrooms had been. We also redid three bedrooms and created new closets for each and they too, look amazing. Danny guided us through the process and recommended a great architect and helped us get the proper permits required. Once the work began his team was professional, courteous and extremely reliable. The job turned out beautifully and we couldn’t be happier! Danny always made himself available for any questions throughout the process and even once the job was completed and we had lingering questions he was quick to get back with answers. We strongly recommend Champion for your home needs, you will not be disappointed.

We needed our carpet replaced throughout most of our house, and wood floors re-finished. Champion completed the work quickly and efficiently with top notch quality. They removed the old carpet. Repaired the existing subfloor, and re-fastened areas to reduce squeaks, and installed the new carpet. The way the carpet was cut and fastened at the stairwell and railings was truly remarkable. Everything was cleaned up afterwards, and they were professional and easy to work with. Our flooring and carpeting looks fantastic!

I've worked with CHAMPION HOME REMODELING and Danny several times over the past few years. Danny is the penultimate professional. He will give you an honest estimate with a realistic time line to start and complete your project. The last project was finishing our basement and the whole family is extremely satisfied with our new space. It transformed our home and how we use. It went as expected with Champion. Over the years, I have used their services for many projects on my home and on my son's home. They have handled kitchen remodels; construction of a portico; bathroom renovations, four in total; installation of flooring, and painting and plastering as well as other smaller projects. The great thing about working with them is that most of the workers have been with Champion for many years. They are skilled, work clean and are very knowledgeable. The latest project was building of a deck which, if you are familiar with building departments in Westchester County, isn't as easy a job as it might seem. Danny handled all the communications with the building department and finished the deck with no problems. I'd certainly recommend Champion to anyone who cares about their home and wants a contractor who treats your home like it was theirs.

The guys did a good job. No more squirrels in my roof. Would use them again. No complaints.

This was a relatively big project for us that went extremely well. Danny, the owner of this company was incredibly responsive to every call we made (we found him on Angie's List) even when he was in the midst of work elsewhere. And when he didn't have much time to talk, he still answered and said he'd get back to his soon, and he did that every time. When he was here, he was focused on our project, as well as all of our questions and concerns. The work he and his team did is excellent. They used top-notch wood that we wouldn't have even thought of to request, and their focus on details (lovely curves of the edges and creative ways of joining rail pieces together) was top notch. We really highly recommend Danny and his Champion Home Remodeling Team. We really love our new back deck!

Champion Home Remodeling have done many major remodeling jobs on our house from new windows, new exterior doors, vinyl siding, new garage doors, deck repairs & a bathroom remodel. They have even done some handyman services for us. We have been using them for over 20 years & have recommended them to many friends & relatives. In 2013, Champion Home Remodeling did our kitchen The job was done so well. and we were so satisfied, we decided to use Danny and his crew again. The great thing about Danny is that he listens to what you have to say, and makes suggestions based on your ideas. We wanted a completely new room. That necessitated the complete demolition of the old one. Our house is 93 years old and it would be interesting to find out what was inside the walls. More on that later. We wanted new windows with blinds inside. We wanted two cabinets on either side of the windows on one side of the room. We wanted a split system air conditioning unit. We wanted ethernet available on every wall. We wanted a big television hung on the wall, accompanied by a home theater system. Yes indeed, big changes! Danny made some suggestions. A heat pump instead of a straight air comditioner. Removal of the old giant radiator which provided the only heat in favor of a short piece of baseboard to augment the heat pump. Let the demolition begin! It turns out, that our old house had had a roof leak sometime before we bought it in 1987. That old leak had created wet rot inside the wall, and had crumpled the beams inside the wall. It also affected the exterior wall and the siding on it. So now, besides what we wanted, what we needed would also have to be done. The serious work had begun! Suffice it to say, the work that was done far exceeded our expectations! Every aspect of the job turned out wonderfully. The walls, the floor, the outside of the house; everything was perfect. If you had never seen the room before, you could not appreciate the full extent of the upgrade. Every day the site was cleaned, all debris removed and the room made ready for the next day's labor. Every request we made was fulfilled; and we are now enjoying the fruits of their labor. We cannot recommend Champion highly enough. Master craftsmen, all!

We love our kitchen remodel. Champion Remodeling exceeded our expectations. His workers Jesus, Alfredo and Mark are truly talented craftsmen. If we had any questions, the owner Danny answered our phone calls right away. Our home was respected, tarped and cleaned at the end of each work day. Danny and his team did a great job. The work they did came out better than I hoped and they completed it a day under schedule. They explained all of the steps of the project to me and even cut open the floor to show me why it had been squeaking. The team was friendly and answered all of my questions and when they were finished the area was completely clean. The squeaky floor is 100x better and the molding and laundry room look amazing. It was just the owner of the company or the contractor that came out. The estimate was too high so I went with someone else.

Every thing went according to plan. Got several compliments from the neighbors on the quality of the job. 2 of them asked for window replacement estimates for their homes.

Excellent; It's a work of art! Danny and his people are reliable and they know what they are doing.

Danny was overall a good contractor. He brought in people that knew what they were doing, and they were fast. Prices were OK, but be careful and make sure you ask exactly how much the final price will be, including EVERYTHING and ANYTHING that could come up. We agreed on a price to completely redo the kitchen, signed a contract, and half way through, the price went up by 50% because gas and electric pipes now had to replaced, and a fake wall put up to cover them (old house). Is it in an extra cost? Sure. Could it have been forseen by a contractor that's been doing this for this long? Possibly. But our mutual understanding was that the first cost covered any kind of 'new development' to make the kitchen look new. So, communication can definitely be better. But the job will get done, and on time. Just be careful when you discuss prices.

He responded to that contact and followed up with me today by returning my call. His excuse was that he was on vacation. He asked me what work I was needing done and I explained the project to him. He proceeded to tell me that this was not a big enough job to come to Manhattan for. In my opinion I think the location had everything to do with the refusal, and that this company should not list Manhattan as a service area, if they will not in fact come to Manhattan for work.

We recently finished a major renovation of a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. The project involved demolition work, plumbing replacement, electrical upgrades and appliance/cabinetry/flooring installation. Champion Home Remodeling, Daniel Vitulli owner, was our contractor. What impressed us most about Danny was his calm confident demeanor. With over 30 years of experience, it was obvious he could handle the job. I can’t say enough about Champion’s team. They were talented, respectful and hard working. Any sub-contractors Danny brought onboard were licensed and professional. Champion also covered all necessary paperwork and interactions with the co-op’s managing company. As the project unfolded (over 4 months) people kept asking, “Still getting along with your contractor?” When I responded ‘yes’ they always looked skeptical. Overall, a great experience that exceeded our expectations. We could not be happier with our new home!
