My roof was leaking last winter and upon the recommendation of my neighbor (Ani...) I called A K GATSIOS INC and his team came out and evaluated the situation and provided me with a free estimate. I signed the contract because of the quailty work they did for my neighbor as well as the price i was offered for the full replacement of my flat roof. They came on time, worked efficiently and carefully as well as provided me with updates and finding throughout the day. Job was completed to my satisfaction and I have had no problems since I am just excited to recommend them to anyone needing roofing assistance, very professional team who got the job done in one day in winter might I add.

We used AK Gatsios for roofing, siding, front door and back French door installation. Him and his team did an excellent job on our home. We are ecstatic with the finished look of our home. He was extremely professional, responsive and was very quick on getting back to us on any questions or concerns we had. He has a great eye for home repair and provided us his expertise on color combinations. He was also very accommodating in providing bigger samples of siding etc before we even hired him. His responsiveness, professionalism, punctuality and reasonable price won him our business. Looking at his work, I'm so glad we went with him. We have young children and were dreading getting this work done but Alkis made this job look so easy. His team took care of all the work and we were not bothered at all.They cleaned up the debris every night before they left. I recommend Alkis to anyone who is looking to get any work done on the home. He has a GAF Master Elite status and looking at his work I can say it is well deserved.

K GATSIOS INC. (Alkis Gatsios) was called after I ask someone in neighborhood who was using him about the quality of work. I have hired so many people over 35 years in my house for repairs including roofing and gutters. I have to say, the quality, professionalism, price, and cleanup were by far the best that I've ever had. I had a ceiling leak in the master bedroom and I was certain that is was from the skylights that were taken out and re-roofed 2 years ago. After they stripped the shingles off, they determined that it was from faulty flashing from the former roofer. After several steady rains, no more leaks. The crew was prompt, courteous, meticulous and very informative. The outside area was left cleaner then when they arrived. Great job on the new siding and gutter with screens look amazing. I would strongly recommend Alix and his team to all..

Showed up first thing in the morning started prepping the roof for removal. Inside of couple of hrs it was removed and the new roof was going on. They finished most of it the first day and was back early next morning to finish up and make sure the grounds were cleaned up. This is the second time they have worked for me and I’ve recommended them to other contractors and homeowners.

We used AK Gatiois for an entire new roof. Our home is very large - 10,000 square feet - with multiple gables and out-croppings on the roof to support small porches and balconies. A VERY complicated roofing job. AK Gatios' team did an awesome job. The whole job took over a week to complete. They filled three 30 yard dumpsters with all of the roofing debris!! At first, we were quite worried about the tons of discarded roofing materials from the old roof. We were worried that a total clean up would be impossible. Not so with these guys! When they left after a week, no one would know that they were here. Every scrap, every nail (and their were literally 10's of thousands of old nails) was gone. We also had them install a new gutter system. Again, complicated because of the size and structure of the roof. What a job! Just fantastic! The owner of the company, Alkis Gatsios, did EVERYTHING he promised, and then some. He is very honorable. No short-cuts, no cover-ups, no nonsense. This man shakes your hand, and it is a binding contract. Very rare these days, and even more rare in the construction business. I would refer them 100% to anyone needing a roof or siding without hesitation. Happily surprised in Oyster Bay!!

The AK Gatsios team was very efficient and helpful with repairing my roof. They were at my house everyday until the job got done. The price was fair and the work was top class. Would recommend them to anyone who needs roof repairs.

I don't normally write reviews, but AK construction was such an amazing company to work with. After recently doing an extension on my house I dealt with a number of contractors, all of which left me disappointed with their timing or quality of work. It was a pleasure to deal with AK construction. He did exactly what he said he would do in the time frame he said he would do it and the quality of his work was excellent. He quoted me a fair price and didn't ask for a single penny until the job was done and I approved the work. Every time I called he immediately answered the phone and all of my questions. His crew was courteous, polite, hard working and talented at what they do. When I mentioned how happy I was to a manager at ALLIED BUILDING SUPPLY, I found out he was one of the preferred contractors recommended and that he actually put the roof and siding on this particular managers house. The manager was as impressed with his work as I was. I couldn't give him a higher recommendation. If I was going to do anything else to my home I would go to him first and if he couldn't do it i would accept his recommendation. Thank you Alki!

Everything went well from day 1. Quick response and prompt . Thexwork was promised to be done within a certain amount of time and it was completed. I am happy with the communication and pleasantry from AK. If and when I need some more work done I will definitely contact this company. The prices were reasonable compared to 3 other places I checked for the same job. A pleasure to do business with.

AK’s crew expertly finished my job. We had an unforeseen problem with our gutters, and some scheduling conflicts. But they explained everything to me, and we came to a fair agreement on price before anything was done. Some contractors will lowball, and then jack up the price for nothing. Quality crew. Quality project management. Great company.

Alkis, was extremely responsive to my sensitive timeline. He was able to adjust his schedule to ensure that first my roof would be installed to guarantee no water damage, he then was able to have my house wrapped so I wouldn’t experience water damage. He was able to insulate, side, and install gutters quickly and professionally. I interviewed 4 other contractors and he was not only the most knowledgeable but the most reasonable. I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs any of his services he provides. High character person.

Good Quality Work - Fair Pricing (Rare) A.K. Gatsios knew their business very well and were able to answer our detailed questions, as we had interviewed many roofing companies before choosing them so we were extremely thorough with our vetting process. We removed the old roof, and replaced the entire roof including two skylights. The installers were professional and did good quality work. The entire project was completed in two days. They cleaned up the entire yard. They followed up to make sure everything was satisfactory. Our roof looks and functions great. We highly recommend their service with confidence.

I used AK Gatsios to completely remove and replace our house and garage roof and siding. I am extremely happy with the results and will recommend this contractor.
