They did a great job. They were punctual. They cleaned up after themselves and they dig enough fast. We were very happy with the workmanship. We're going to have them come back to do the stomp.

From my very first contact with Oakes, I was very pleased. They were responsive to my calls, came when they said they would, arranged all utility services to prevent hazards/service interruption, and cut the tree down in one day. This sounds simple, but I can't convey the shear size of this massive tree. Other tree service companies wouldn't touch it. The only one that would quoted me double the fee that Oakes required. The owners and workers were prompt, very courteous and exceedingly meticulous. Every single last leaf was removed from my property, and they contracted with heavy-duty crane/flatbed company to remove the massive trunk. My husband and I couldn't have been more pleased.

The team did a phenomenal job felling the entire tree in a forested area of my lot with no damage to the surrounding trees. They on time and on estimate. They impressed my next door neighbor who contracted them to do work for them. I will definitely use them again.

They arrived before 8 a.m. and two guys worked up in the tree using ropes. They were experts at getting the limbs down by rope and did a great job in the course of 4 hours. 4 to 5 other guys kept up with chipping up the branches. It was a hot day, but they kept working along. We asked them to take the huge trunk pieces and even though we hadn't arranged for that, they very kindly agreed to put them in their bucket truck and take them away. They cleaned up very well and left everything pretty well cleaned up. We're now waiting for them to grind the stump down (a later request). We were quite happy with their work overall.

They were very good. It was a bit pricey but they brought at leaf 56 men in to do the job. They were very polite and explained everything to me. They did a great job trimming my ornamental cherry tree and got the branches off my house. I am pleased wight he job they did.

It went well. They were just good. They were very professional and they did what they said that they were going to do. They cleaned up everything and they did no damage to my lawn. They did a good job overall so I would recommend them to everybody. They were also reasonably priced.

They were great! They provided tree trimming services in a professional, timely manner. They removed all the cut tree limbs and they raked the area. It was like they had never been there!

Oaks arrived at the time they said they would. I have dealt with Oakes several times and never had a problem with them.

Good crew accomplished a lot in a relatively short time and did excellent work. All we talked to were very courteous & friendly. Paid attention to shape of trees after trimming. Cleaned up very well. Price was very reasonable.

They were on time and worked very hard. The quality was excellent and was significantly cheaper than some of the other estimates I received.

They came out quickly and gave us the estimate ($1500 per maple and 900 for the box elder). We declined to go with them because of the cost.

The gentlemen from Oakes tree service did an awesome job in my yard. They were hard working courteous and professional. They had us come out and see what they had done and even did some extra trimming while they in the yard. The clean up was amazing! When they told me they would make sure everything was cleaned they certainly meant it. Anything they had to move to protect it from damage was put back. I was totally amazed at their work and will definitely be hiring them back! The price was fabulous! I give them the highest recommendation possible.

We called around and got a few estimates. Oakes was the lowest by about half, so we decided to go with them. The owner showed up on time to give us an estimate. We were on their shedule a week later. The workers showed up on time and did a good job. They left the stump grindings, though, so now we have a big pile in our backyard.

Owner came as promised for the estimate. Telephone tag a bit irksome. Given the busy time of year and my vacation the work was delayed. However when the time came, the big crew arrived on time and did a great job. Would have loved to see the bucket truck in action to get to the tops of trees. When done, the yard was spotless and the tree healthy and happy. I'd recommend them and have already!

Contacted this business by email on 6/13/12 to obtain a quote for tree stump grinding. The email sent not only contained all information necessary to obtain the quote (ie: contact info, address, stump location) but also a photo of the stump in question. My inquiry was completely ignored, and I was never contacted regarding the service. First impressions are everything; this business couldn't care less about potenital customers, and this attitude that would likely carry over to their service quality as well. Do yourself a favor and pass this one by.

Very well, work was done while I was working so not any issues. Bill left on my door. Easy arrangements. It took several calls and several days to get an estimate but it was worth it. His price was 1/3 the price of the highest and 1/2 the price of another but the quality was there. Perhaps the others didn't want the work. Mike is a young guy with good equipment (boom truck) and works very safely.
