Description of Work: I found this company thru home advisors. I needed a gutter redirected. After discussion I decided to have his company do the job. Mike insisted on full payment. When I asked isn't it a standard business practice that half get paid and the rest when the job is done? he stated who's business practice? When you go to lowes they make you pay in full. I did write a check for the full amount due to the fact the work was suspose to be done the following week. Later that afternoon when I saw the money had not been withdrawn, I cancelled the check. I will never do business thru home advisors and this company again

Description of Work: I have had Mike install brick outdoors, build indoor cabinetry, and remodel a bathroom. He is professional, completes the project in a reasonable time, and is just a good person. I get my own product and he does the work.

+ 3 moreBesides their work being very good, their business ethics was excellent. They contacted me right back, they were here when they said they were going to be. Everything he said, he did. I didn't have to chase after him for anything.
Description of Work: We had a flood in the basement and our carpet got ruined. We had McAfee's Remodeling take the carpet out and patch the cement floor, and then paint it with an epoxy. One person came out to do the work but one day he had a helper with him, but most of the time it was him because he was doing other things. He repaired the drywall and he also painted the room.

+ 0 moreI cannot say enough good things about Mike and this company. I almost don't want to write the review so I can keep the company as my secret (but Mike deserves the credit). He was very knowledgable on all aspects of the renovation (electrical, plumbing, carpentry etc.). Arrived on time, did what they said they would and worked with our change orders. Gave great recommendations on ways to save money and complete project. Cleaned up everyday after themselves and kept the job site safe. Trusted 100% with work, much of which competed while I was out of town. Will be using company again in near future.
