Tree analysis part was interesting. He seemed rushed and uninterested in being at my home. Did go over all the different trees in my yard. The quote came in much higher than we expected.

Great experience start to finish. Easy communication, work performed when they said it would be, everything was professional.

We would use them again in the future.

The person was very polite. They fit me in his schedule coming from an other appointment. He looked around, answered my question about a specific tree and the cost of removing some of them, just a rough estimate. They did quote me later by e-mail. Quotes were higher then almost everyone. The reason why I rated them c overall and quality, had nothing to do with the quotes to take down trees, I sure they are very good at that, but for the service I acquired, an assessment of my trees. I was expecting at least some type of report with respect to the trees on my lot, specifically the one I wanted info for on, but received nothing but a verbal at the time to that effect. It would have been great if they provided a written report. He couldn't have spent more that ten minutes total looking around, so even for the discounted price, I feel it wasn't worth the money spent.

A crew showed up on time and worked efficiently together to complete the work quickly without incident. They all exercised great care in avoiding any damage to property, and I would definitely use this company again.

Excellent work. It was done while I was out of town and didn't even notice when I came home today. No marks on lawn, all wood cleaned up.

They made an appointment for an estimate and he came on time. He gave me a fair price and took off the coupon discount ($50.00). They called the week they were coming. They showed up with all the equipment and staff they needed in about two hours they cut down and shredded the trees. They did a great job of cleaning up. A couple of weeks later they showed up and totally ground down the stumps and left. I was very happy with their work and price.

They checked with 811 first about gas, electric and other underground lines. They used a cherry picker and hughe trucks and a crew of people. They came early the day of removal rather than to cancel due to the upcoming bad weather. I found them to be professional and honorable. My neighbor video taped them and I was pleased to see their work. They left the scene clean and I was impressed with their safety measures and willingness to work with me through all my questions and concerns to make it happen. They know how to communicate and provide their best of service. I hope to have them back again for another project.

The J & M crew arrived around noon complete with trucks, crane, man lift, shredder and 7 or 8 workmen.. Plywood and blocks were placed on driveway and lawn to bear the weight of the equipment and prevent damage. The tree was removed in about six major sections. One of the crew placed slings around the upper part of the tree using the man lift for access and then connected the sling to the boom crane. With that in place for security, the crew member on the lift, chain sawed the major limb section for removal. These major sections were lifted over the house and to the street where the rest of the crew cut limbs and fed them to be shredded. Limbs of 18" or more were cut and lifted by truck crane to the truck for removal. The last section removed measured 51" in diameter and was about 12' long. The crane operator indicated it weighed about 10,000 lbs on his lift scale. When all was done in about 5+ hours, the area was completely swept, blown and clean from debris. During the work, traffic control was managed by the crew all of which were very capable and personable. A very professional job by this firm.

This was my neighbors tree which is about 6 foot away from my lot line. Over the years this tree has grown to the point where its branches were overhanging a quarter of my roof including some that were just about laying over my chimney. J & M trimmed tree vertically straight up at lot line. Went up approximately 60 to 70 feet. I did let my neighbors know I was going to have part of their tree removed. J&M did a very nice job. Used their bucket lift. Raked up afterwards . When left, site was very clean, hardly knew they were there. Nice job! Took a couple hours. Would use them again

Overall, J M Tree Service did an outstanding job. From my first telephone call until completion, they kept me informed. They gave me a timely estimate of the work. Provided a accurate outlook for the time they were available to do the work (4-6 weeks). They notified me 1 week before work was to begin and arrived on schedule. They have an overwhelming amount of up to date equipment to handle a big job like mine. They used a power lift to cut the very tall and mature trees safely. A very large telescoping crane lifted all the trees into the street in front of our house. This avoided all that heavy equipment crossing my lawn. To minimize lawn damage for the equipment crossing to the back of the property, they laid plywood tracks. The Bobcat, lift, and trucks all used the plywood tracks minimizing the impact on my front lawn. Joshua was flexible in letting me choose the trees to remove and the ones to save. His workers are professional and hardworking. I never saw them spend more than 5 minutes catching their breath on a very hot and humid day. I am very pleased with the final product. After the leveling, topsoil and seeding, my backyard is on its way to being a wonderful space for my family.

They told us when they were coming several days ahead, then appeared on time. They cut down the tree and took it all away, then chipped the stump and took away the chips, and did a great clean-up job. They swept up all the twigs and sawdust, both on our property and our street and did it all without damaging our lawn. We were very impressed by their teamwork. They did a great job.

Did a nice job trimming the trees, the clean up was excellent. The trees were removed along with the stumps.

It went well. They did the job in about six hours and cleaned everything up.

Large crew of 8 or so arrived on time, completed the work within 2 hours, only complaint was use of another contractors ladder without permission.

Service was excellent. It was amazing to watch how they removed the trees, being mindful of our space constraints. By the time they left, you never knew they were there! They cut the trees apart in the street in front of our house and by the time they were finished, you never knew they were there. We were certainly the entertainment for the street! They had huge trucks and a crane that took the tree pieces over our house to the street in front. It was very cool. Thank you for great service!

After a tiny bit of trouble with the first estimate (it didn't reflect correctly the trees we'd discussed in-person) we got a revised estimate and went ahead. They got us onto the schedule quickly (within a week) and showed up promptly on the day-of. It was a pretty cool process to watch - fast, careful, and a lot of attention to cleaning up all the debris afterwards. All told they removed four willows, three pines in the front, and a bunch of scraggly ones in the back. I asked them to take out an additional tree which they happily quoted on-the-spot and went ahead with.

They were wonderful! Showed up right on time, very nice men. They did a awesome job.

They came when they said they would, were professional and helpful, and did the job as specified. I couldn't ask for more!

The service did exactly as they contracted to do. Removed the trees, cleaned up the debris, and came back and ground out the stump a few days later. Very efficient, professional, and timely.
