I was very unhappy with Putnam Handyman Services. I expected a price of $240.We had spoken about what I needed done and he said it would probably be a two hour job, unless there were unforeseen circumstances. I said I figured you'd would know that before you started, he asked what my budget was and I told him $250.Glenn came with another worker at 9:45, I gave him the 4 strands of lights and they got to work. Two hours later he knocked on the door, I thought great just as he told me. Unfortunately he told me he needed a splitter to put up the last strand, and of course didn't have one and would have to go to Home Depot to get one. I'm thinking great another fifty bucks. Anyway off they both go to Home Depot at 11:45, it is a 6 minute ride to home depot. They returned at 12:45, I couldn't believe it. Then they took another hour to put up the last strand. All told the price was $503.11!! He took off $50.00 because he didn't want me to "be unhappy". I told him too late, I felt taken advantage of. I had a quote from an actual electrician for this job and it was $380! How he can charge so much more was just wrong. I called him after for a copy of the receipt from home depot and he wouldn't give it to me. I will never use Putnam Handyman Services again and I won't be recommending him to family or friends

Glenn calls to confirm the appt the day before and is always on time. I've had trouble with contractors and handymen who either never show up or disappear and leave a job unfinished but that's not the case with Glenn. He's very professional, punctual and cleans up nicely. If you're looking for someone dependable and professional Putnam Handyman is the one you want. I will definitely use Glenn in the future!

They were punctual and very polite They installed a ceiling fan, but first had to make a few adjustments to the original location so the fan would be flush on the ceiling. (The light fixture that was being replaced was a llittle old.) As the gutters were be cleaned out, they noticed that some of the wood would have to be replaced-(eventually). I would definitely use their services again.

After having a horrible experience with another contract, who did the worst possible work ever, working with Glenn from Putnam Handyman Services was a breath of fresh air! Glenn was responsive, easy to understand, and extremely knowledgeable. Glenn and his crew completed the work in a timely manner. They worked with no supervision from myself or my husband, which was important to us since we both work full time. The quality of the work exceeded our expectations. We're so happy we will use them again in the very near future, as we have now hired them to paint our condo!

The job entailed replacing 6 water damaged floor boards (2"X6"). Glenn was punctual arriving on time for both the estimate and on the day the work was performed. The work was neat and the replaced boards look great. The entire work area was cleaned up, if it wasn't for the new boards it looked as if no one was there. Would hire again.

It was a simple job, but he did a very good job. He was very conciouentious and I would definitely call him again in the future.

Awesome! They showed up in uniform, were American, and knew what they were talking about. They finished this job so fast I can't believe it. The previous guys I had in here were a disaster and messed a lot of things up, but then I found Putnam handyman services and they were so polite and my bathroom looks amazing! Glenn was a stand up guy and I definitely recommend this company to anyone who wants a competent contractor for a great price.
