Outstanding! The nicest folks, both in the offices and on the trucks. When the move was completed, we had the following situation: nothing broken, nothing missing. The move took 2 days as it was a multi family home. These guys, without exception, worked non-stop! There was no fooling around, no cell phone conversations, no wasted time, period. They had the truck unloaded in approximately 2.5 hours. I had estimated that it would take most of the day! How wrong you can be! 🤣🤣. These guys are fantastic, flexible and understanding. The women who manage the phones........can’t ask for better!! I would recommend them without hesitation! 👍👍❤️

Overall the day of the move went ok with the exception of a few dings to some furniture. There was however one particular odd thing: when going from point a to point b (a direct route and the driver said he knew especially since it's a few miles away from Murphy's depot) the truck initially followed but then somehow ended up arriving to point b 20-25 minutes after we did. The next day we realized our Oreck vacuum was no where to be found and called Murphy to discuss the issue. The Murphy rep initially said she'd look into it. When they didn't follow up for days, we then contacted them by email. The only thing the Murphy rep was willing to do was ask the moving crew if they had seen the Oreck Vacuum which she said they hadn't, and she suggested we check our closets. When asked what their policy was for incidents such at this, and once we let Murphy know that the truck went missing, Murphy didn't address the policy nor the truck because they stopped responding completely. We wanted to come to a resolution, but their unwillingness to come to terms forced us to put a stop payment on our check. Now we're receiving an invoice, with a stop payment check fee, and the threat of it going to collection. We hired Murphy Moving because we used them once before years ago and appreciated their service, but I guess the minute you hit a bump in the road you realize just what they're really made of.

The two movers were extremely professional, on time, careful and great in every way. Can't say enough good about them.

Lisa in the office was very friendly and responsive in providing an estimate and scheduling the move. The movers arrived on time, within the agreed one hour window, and promptly went to work. Beto, Marcelo, and another gentleman (sorry cannot remember his name) handled the furniture, boxes, and plastic totes with care. The same process was repeated in reverse at destination - exactly what you want in a move.

These guys are highly professional, responsive, and take such good care of all articles. They arrived promptly the day of the move and actually finished a day ahead of schedule. They are extremely careful packing and moving all things and as a result we did not have a single damage. The entire staff is very cordial and helpful. The entire experience was outstanding from the process of getting an estimate and working with us to make it as reasonable as possible, all the way to unloading our stuff. We highly recommend John C Murphy moving. They really put as at ease that all would go well and indeed it did.

They moved me 1100 miles from New York to Florida without any issues. Every mover was a pleasure to deal with and not one broken piece. They were not the cheapest but the estimate given was what was charged.

It went very well from estimate, to packing (very well done), to loading, and unloading. Received a credit promptly because weight estimate was more than what was actually moved. Only one casualty, the mirror backing of a curio cabinet shattered for some reason, and that is being repaired right now at the mover's expense. Delivery was well within the window of time that was provided. I would definitely recommend them.

Before the move, we enjoyed friendly and courteous service from the owner and administrative staff when it came to obtaining our estimate and planning for the move. On moving day, the moving crew was punctual, professional, friendly, and very easy to work with. They took great care of all of our furniture, and I was amazed at how quickly they moved while being so thorough and attentive. The office staff was very responsive to calls from their answering service, even on the weekend, and went above and beyond to get our last-minute questions answered ASAP. The move was finished much earlier than expected, and we had extra time to relax in our new home. I'd recommend Murphy movers to anyone, and we would certainly hire them again.

They quoted me a rate then half way through the move said that they had improperly estimated the amount of furnishings and would need an additional $1,000. I selected them because they were about $1,000 cheaper than the competition. While I do feel that I was ripped off, the staff was professional, pleasant and hard working.

Perfectly - from the original estimate to the packing and moving it was excellent. The packers and movers, Danny H. (who is incredibly knowledgeable, organized and hard working), Luis, Alfredo and Juan were friendly, efficient, careful, certainly knew what they were doing - they all worked so, so **** ** a very hot day - I can't praise them enough. I had heard such horror stories about other companies that I really expected some problem. Didn't even have a little problem! Then when the truck arrived in NC another group unloaded (No Job To Small - David Hedgepeth Owner) and I understand everything went as smoothly as in NY. I would certainly recommend Murphy movers to everyone planning a move...big or small. The cost was competitive with other estimates - as a matter of fact I even got a refund because the weight was under the estimated weight. This is a well run company with well trained employees, decent and honorable from start to finish. The office staff also were always responsive and pleasant, answering any questions whenever I called.

First, I was very impressed by he owner who came to give the quote. Other movers were quick to say that our move would be very difficult even though we only had a few pieces of furniture. John on the other hand gave a much more reasonable assessment and he was much more professional. The move went great! The movers and especially the team leader Danny did a fantastic job. They arrived on time and did exactly what they said they would do. They were very willing to listen to us regarding fragile items and were also very helpful with moving things so that we could clean our apartment while they were moving out. I was also very impressed that they did all the moving without really taking any breaks. They really worked hard to keep our costs down. They were also very helpful on the day of our move in and placed all of the furniture where we wanted it. Overall we had no damage what-so-ever including about 10-15 boxes of fragile items and the move came in several hundred dollars under budget.

I had a wonderful experience with them. They came and gave me an accurate estimate. They worked with me when I had to change my departure date. They delivered exactly when they said they would and the delivery man was very professional, courteous, efficient and everything arrived in good condition. I would recommend them to anyone.

They were acurate with their estimate and it was a direct move, meaning there was to be no stopping at a warehouse or storage area and to be moved another day. I have a lot of antique furniture and they were very careful with the handling and moving. They were on time, very professional and went above and beyond to give good service. They were also a very honest company. I would highly recommend their services to others. I had no damages and was very satisfied.

Bob, the representative, scheduled an in home consultation and estimate for my move. They also provided me with boxes and packing materials that I needed - and are located close by so I was able to pick them up ahead of time. The job was quoted for 3 men and 1 truck and 9 hours of move time. The estimate was dead on...the men showed up on time and were very professional. They did not stop all day except for Lunch. They went out of their way to be sure they moved everything I wanted and that I was satisfied. Couldn't say anything bad - Thanks guys!

Our move was interstate from CT to FL and all arrived safe and sound to our new home. The unloading was as professional and efficient as the loading and the overall cost was extremely fair for the services provided. The entire move went very smoothly thanks to Craig and his team of three. They arrived early in the morning and worked almost non-stop until 6:00 PM packing and loading the truck. Throughout the entire day, they were all polite and courteous and extremely helpful. The truck arrived in PA on the scheduled day. Again, Craig was there; this time with a new team of three. Everything was unloaded and placed exactly where we wanted it. Furntiure was all set up before they left. The team was professional and friendly. Although moving after living in the same house for 26 years can be exhausting, Craig and his team helped ease some of the stress with their expertise and pleasant attitiudes. We would highly recommend Murphy Movers.

Move went very well. Team was professional and very caring with our possessions. It was our fourth move with Murphy Movers within the past 4 years and we have always been pleased and had a good experience. the price came in under estimate.
