He said it would cost $130/hour to visually inspect the two points and indicated it would take less than half an hour. His person came out (very professional) and spent less than 7 minutes on site. Jeff sent me a bill for $255, and I objected. He became hostile, rude and abusive, claiming he had spent over 2 hours of office time pulling the file. More recently, my contractor tried to hire him to come out and do a survey before pouring a foundation. He did not return phone calls and when finally confronted refused to do the work, using choice words to describe me. Jeff DeRosa took over an established and highly respected surveying firm called Bunney Associates, and he is driving the business into the ground.

I sent them the details and they returned the call to say they did have an old surey, but it would still cost me more to use them than if I found the people who last did a survey for my house.

Excellent. An absolute pleasure. They were the only surveying company to return my call. No other local survey company returned my call. As an individual homeowner, that says a lot.
