I was pleasantly surprised when Andrew answered the phone himself as opposed to having to leave a message for him. Being that it was a Saturday afternoon, I was concerned about getting someone on short notice. I originally called to address an emergency bee situation my daughters house and then decided to ask about my issue. ( Two separate reviews) The job at my house involved bees under a porch door frame. I showed him where a trail of bees had been coming and going in a crevice under the porch door, (which is minus it's molding). I told him that I had not seen any bees in the house, thankfully and none in the garage below. But Andrew knew better and asked to see the garage. He put on his protective bee gear. Upon pulling off some exposed ceiling insulation near that side of the ceiling, he discovered what appeared to be old evidence of a cluster of mouse droppings, unexpectedly solving the issue of an occasional mouse in the garage/basement. Then probing further, he discovered that the yellow jackets had made an active nest in the ceiling insulation right near the entry point, through which I could now clearly see daylight. He proceeded to remove and soak it with the treatment and bag it. After soaking the ceiling area he also applied a powder with residual effect, to kill bees that would reenter, till we close up the entry point. I am happy that the treatment he used consisted of natural plant chemicals and oils which will not be toxic to our environment. However it was deadly to the yellow jackets as evidenced immediately to some on the garage floor. I am very pleased with Andrew's responsiveness, knowledge, efficiency and professionalism. He was fair about pricing especially since there were two jobs. Although we called him primarily for a bee emergency at my daughter's house, I am glad to have solved my own issue on the same day. I am writing this review for my daughter since she is recovering from about 100 stings from swarming bees inside her house. However she is so thrilled that Andrew of Best Pest Control, was available, prompt and successful in helping solve her emergency. When she tapped on an irregularity in her ceiling drywall, , thinking the scratching noise might be a mouse, the drywall gave way. As she tried to block the hole with a book to give time for the children to leave the house, "yellow jackets" came pouring out of the ever enlarging hole in the drywall and stung her everywhere. She stuffed a blanket in the hole and called 911. This happened on Friday the 28th. Her whole family fled to stay at my house (her Mom). After we dealt with the emergency medical issue and she was stabilized, we called Best Pest Control on Saturday afternoon. Thankfully Andrew was available and answered the phone himself. Within 30 minutes he was doing a smaller bee job at my house in Danbury (See my other review.), and then proceeded to Sherman. At my daughter's house, Andrew entered wearing his bee protection gear. After viewing bees clustered inside the windows, he removed the blanket that was stuffed in the ceiling hole, upon which about 100 bees exited into the room. Luckily other room doors had been closed, so it was just a three room open area that was affected. He closed the ceiling hole with cardboard and shot the treatment and residual powder into the nest. Next he proceeded to fog the house area to kill the bees that were loose. Afterward, he climbed a ladder to reach the outside entry point under the house overhang and loaded it with the residual powder treatment and instructed us to leave it for 24 hours. Then my son-in-law could return and air out the rooms and wash down everything again, especially since one of the rooms was a kitchen. He said that after 2 weeks if there was still bee activity evident, he would treat it again at no extra cost. If there was no activity at that time, we would be free to close up the holes inside and outside. My daughter was happy that Andrew used a natural botanical treatment made from plant oils as opposed to harsh chemicals. I had sawdust falling out of our roof onto the deck suggesting that something was eating the wood. I decided to contact a pest control just to have it checked. Andrew arrived few hours after my call, discover that the problem is carpenter bees infestation and immediately took actions. I am glad I called them at the right time and they were able to respond immediately. I was also very pleased to find out that they are using green products to spray with.

I purchased the Carpenter Ant elimination deal thru Angie's List on Monday, 7/6 in the evening. I called Andrew the next morning to schedule an appointment. They arrived at my house at noon on the same day. He and his father were prompt, kind, informative, friendly, knowledgeable and everything else you'd want in a service provider. I would highly recommend them!

My appointment with Best Pest Control was scheduled very easily. Mr Galasso was very polite and professional. He sprayed the house inside and out, upstairs and down, to take care of the Carpenter Ants and noticed alot of spiders in the house too. If in about 2 weeks, if the problem isnt 'fixed', he will return.

Was very gracious and thorough. He did not try to sell us services we didn't need like so many others. Will be calling him when we decide to use an exterminator.

They will come back and re-treat at no charge if we see wasp activity again along the roof/eaves in the next couple weeks. We will definitely use this service in the future.

They were great. Polite, neat, professional, on time, they answered all my questions and guaranteed their work. You could see the bees and wasps were not very happy. They said it would take 24-48 hours for the bees to be gone but the worst corner appears to be clear of them already. I'll be staying inside for the next 48 hours just to play it safe. I would gladly recommend Best Pest Control. I initially thought $350 was a bit high, but when I saw all they did, and then saw how many different places the bees were leaving from, I felt it was money well spent. I feel like I can leave the house and not worry about my dog getting stung in her crate in the living room again.

It went well. They were very helpful. They came out quickly. They explained things to us. They solved the problem, and we didn't have an issue again.

The provider couldn't help me, so I didn't have the deal done.

Found the source of the bee hive. Difficult to get to as it was in the very top of the roof. Made several attempts to reach from inside the house and from outrside without climbing the roof. Came twice to ensure it was taken care off but unfortunately had to come 2 more times and climb the roof to really exterminate. Well done by Father and son team

They were very responsive when I called and immediately set up an appointment. They told me that they are providing an approximate cost over the phone and actual cost will depend on how long it takes to remove the wasp nest. The pest control person was right on time and removed the nest in half an hour. He tried to clean up a bit after the work is done. He also gave me a thirty day guarantee - if the problem recurs he will remove the new nest without any more charge.

I have used Best Pest numerous times since July. They first came to my house to remove a bumble bee nest and since then, I have used them for EVERYTHING! They are now coming on a monthly basis for pest control. Always on time and a pleasure to work with.

Andrew and his son came late in the the day I called which was amazing. I had bees coming into my bedroom as they must have built a nest between the wood clapboard outside and the sheetrock and they found a way into the bedroom. They spent the better part of an hour spraying inside where the radiator pipes come up from the basement as that was where they determined the bees were coming in. They also hit the bees from the outside as well. Then they taped up the cracks in the bedroom so that the bees would not come in again. After a few days, I took the tape off and still had some bees coming in but much less. When I called Andrew to come spray again, he did so and I haven't had problems anymore. I would highly recommend Andrew and his son as they really wanted to get to the source of the nest and eradicate it and I think they did.

They were terrific. They crawled everywhere. They were fast polite and professional.

We came home from vacation on Saturday afternoon and discovered hundreds of yellow jackets in our living room. I called several exterminators and Andrew was the only one who answered. He was at our house in less than an hour and eliminated the nest.

We appreciated that Andrew fit our bee hive removal into his schedule on short notice. We wanted to address this issue as soon as we discovered it. He show up on the day that he indicated and dealt with the issue and removed the hive. He was reasonably priced for this service. He did not clean up thoroughly after but took care of the hive which is the most important. A good rain a day or two later took care of the rest. We would recommend him in the future.

Anthony and his son came out to treat a wasp nest on the same day I called. When they arrived, they did a thorough inspection and came inside to ensure the wasps wouldn't try to come in through the fireplace. Since we have a child, he made sure to tell me not to let her in the plays pace for 72 hours - until the activity stops. He gave me a fair quote for a future ant treatment. He also noticed that we had the cicada wasps in our front lawn and said that normally he would recommend treatment for that b/c we have a toddler and a dog, but that because the treatments weren't working well this season not to waste our money b/c it's expensive. I really appreciated his candor. I would use Anthony again in a heartbeat.

They returned our call within an hour and were able to come out that day. Andrew and his son came out during the time window provided and explained what would be done - including providing reading material about the chemical to be used - and took care of it right away and also explained what would happen over next few days, etc. I didn't shop around that much so can't comment on price too much but it seemed fair and he honored 10% off Angie's coupon that we had.

A few weeks ago our oil deliveryman alerted me to the presence of a yellow jacket nest in our stone foundation. My husband sprayed the area several times, but I was soon finding them in my basement embroidery studio and after a nasty sting I called in help. I phoned Andrew in the late morning and he showed up within a few hours. Nest sprayed, problem gone. I was concerned about some children's garments that I had in my studio, but Andrew assured me that the product that he uses within the home is totally benign, and would not contaminate anything in the house. There were no obnoxious fumes. It was a pleasure meeting Andrew, and, while I hope I don't need to see him again, I would not hesitate to call on him if necessary.

Andrew Galasso and his sons are very capable and professional people. Best Pest Control was called because we had observed yellow jacketa infiltrating our home at several points, starting with our sunroom. Galasso set to work by making some small holes in our ceiling through which toxic fumes were injected into the attic space and other possible crevices. yelowjackets form nests inside, in intramural spaces, and also outside under the siding and so on. They can be very nasty customers. Th first application did not take, as some of the insects reappeared within 24 hours, albeit with less intensity. We called Best Pest Control and Andrew immediately agreed to come over and do whatever was needed. He again injected the toxic material and sprayed outside the house, under he eaves, etc. The treatment a have worked because we have observed very little activity since, although at this point we cannot confirm that the yellow jackets are gone entirely. What we can confirm is that this a firm you can trust. Service is punctual and reliable, and they certainly know their business well. I therefore recommend Andrew Galasso's services, and suppose that he will be as efficient in other areas of pest control as he has been with this infestation. .

Andrew appeared promptly and performed the work courteously and professionally, and warned that a second treatment might be required, which he would provide without charge. The second treatment was necessary, and he appeared promptly and applied it, without charge as he said he would. My wife had to handle the second transaction because I had to be away, and was very impressed. We will certainly use Best Pest in any similar situation.

They were fantastic! Scott came out the same day we called them (really fast response on very short notice) and in addition to a thorough inspection for the house from top to bottom, he spent a lot of time explaining the various types of pest control options and offering suggestions on ways to continually make our home more pest resistant. We had him apply treatment both inside and outside the home. They have been a pleasure to deal with.

Andrew did a thorough inspection while educating me about common pests. We got great results from the treatment and he's our man for any future needs.
