Description of Work: I hired Dan a year ago to finish a hallway to my basement. He primed and finished the drywall for painting, rebuilt the "ceiling" for the hall, prepared the cinder blocks to seal them against moisture and mounted drywall over them, building a shelf along the wall. His woodworking and carpentry were extremely well done, and finished beautifully. The walls and ceiling were primed and painted with two coats of paint. He prepared the steps for carpeting. He also finished a garage for me. He painting the walls and ceiling, and installing trimwork around the windows and door, as well as installing a baseboard around all the walls. He also painted the woodwork and the doors. This year, he remodeled a bathroom into a handicap accessible space. He widened the door into the bathroom, installing a pocket door, removed the shower stall and shower door, and built a new wall to make the shower deeper. He had to reconfigure a closet to do this. The closet was completely finished off and painted, and he reconfigured the shelving in the closet. He selected a plumbing service that had experience in installing a shower for a handicapped individual that would accommodate a wheelchair. He moved plumbing and supervised the setting in of the floor in the shower, as well as the tiling of the walls. He painted in the bathroom and the adjoining bedroom and finished off the threshold to the bathroom from the bedroom, and installed new baseboard into both areas of remodeling. Everything was newly painted.
