He called me as soon as he got my message and came later that day and observed what was needed to be done. He returned the next day and made the repairs and added some material to fix the problem. Our automatic garage door opener broke on a Saturday afternoon. My husband called the owner and left a message. We figured we'd hear back on Monday. The owner responded within 30 minutes. Since it wasn't an emergency call, the owner said he would stop by to assess the job on Monday. He was at our home on Monday later in the day when my husband and I arrived home from work. Our opener was indeed broken, and it was too old to find replacement parts to repair it. The owner gave us several options with estimates for each: buy an new one from him, buy a used one from him or buy go buy an opener ourselves and he'd return to install it. We were glad to have the options. We decided to purchase the used opener. The owner returned on Wednesday to install the opener. He explained to us in detail all work he completed, demonstrated how to use the opener, and also left instructions on how to work the door release. We have been satisfied customers of McGraw's for about 20 years. They have repaired springs and cables on our garage doors in the past. We wouldn't consider using any other provider for our garage door repairs.

They were prompt and courteous. He was extremely honest and explained the process for the repair. He also reassured me about the length of service for my garage door. I had inquired about a replacement and the cost for such a project. After his discussion I appreciated his honestly as I saved approximately $3000. This is something I will budget for in the future. When I do want to replace my door, I will not hesitate to call McGraw's Door Service.

The garage door mechanism broke late on a Friday night. I called McGraw's on Saturday morning after another service outfit failed to return my weekend call. McGraw's fairly advised me of the probable cost, and then came promptly. The work the repairman (Victor) did was careful, despite a bitterly cold day, and he seems very experienced at it. At my request he also did some preventive maintenance on the mechanism. I was completely satisfied with this experience. By coincidence, I discovered that a friend had a similar, equally satisfactory experience with McGraw's just a week ago.
