Apgar Construction LLC

I put in a request for a quote for windows and David Apgar from Apgar construction was the only contractor recommended. When he came to give me an estimate he told me he could save me 20% if I didn't go through Angie's and then I signed a contract with him and put down a deposit for materials. He never actually ordered windows or showed up when he was scheduled. Now after a year I have filed a complaint with BBB and gotten a partial refund and took him to small claims court and won my case for a full refund which I still have not received. I am just hoping to add a review for him or report him for fraud so he cannot keep doing the same thing to other customers.

Not good. Before they even started Adam Rodgers the project manager from Angi told me the company dissolved and was now called daves construction owned by David Apgar father David and it was still legal to have them do the work. They painted the house and the paint started peeling off 3 days later, there was overspray on everything to include my brand new vinyl fence and windows. Rotted wood wasn't replaced as agreed to in the contract. They even called the state police on me and claimed I stole their ladder so they wouldn't have to do the repairs. Angi is currently backing them on this even though there is a police report showing my entire property was searched and of course I didn't have there ladder. I have my own ladder that they used along with my tools because they showed up without any.

Our home addition was the worst experience ever. They were to do a twelve week addition and never were on schedule. They didn't get a permit and were shut down by code enforcement. They measured our house wrong by 4 ft. The cut pre-made trusses that have had to be reinforced by another contractor. They left the job and refused to return any communication. Workers don't clean up and only work 4 days a week. They left the job and never sided my house. Wouldnt recommend them for any work, can easily find better construction crews.
