I should have had a tighter contract. The patching was so limited that they barely made a difference in what needed to get done. I'm assuming they had just a touch of left over asphalt from a prior job. Prior to sealing the lot, they should have cleaned the surface. however, they just dropped some sealer over all the loose stone that was in the lot. It rained shortly after the application so he was supposed to come back to reseal. The owner of the business closed for the day but Allied never showed up when they were supposed to. Ray said that his truck broke down. Ray then contacted me and said that there was a misunderstanding and I owned him more money to come out again and he would redo the entire lot again. Wanting to be fair but skeptical, I sent Ray half the amount. I never saw him again. He never came back to finish the job and did a terrible job on his original work.
