This is the second time Tom/Wallmasters have painted our home and we couldn't be happier. As always, Tom is very friendly, professional and hard working. He is very easy to get in contact with, as he answers the phone immediately or calls you back as soon as possible. He makes sure you are happy with everything before he finishes. He offers helpful suggestions for subtle touches to improve the look of everything. Originally, we wanted our front door and the surrounding frame all black. He mentioned it might not look right since we have white trim on our home and suggested we paint the frame white, leaving the front door black. He left everything primed in white so we could see how the whole thing may look. My wife and I decided we wanted to stick to our original idea of having everything black. Sure enough, Tom was right. He painted everything black and it just didn't look right. He understood that we needed to see it in person and had no problem repainting the outer frame white. It looks outstanding and we regret not letting him paint it the way he suggested. He did an excellent job installing crown molding in our foyer as well as the rest of the painting he did. The other rooms received a great face-lift with freshly painted molding and ceilings. Our railing spindles now match the rest of the trim, as they were originally an off white color. He did a great job on those as well. We would highly recommend Tom/Wallmasters to anyone asking for a painter. Thanks again for everything, Tom! I utilized Wallmaster's Painting Inc. for a painting/ updating project this August 2015. From the estimate throughout the entire process; Tom Pace was great. Everything turned out great. I am very pleased with the results. Tom was very professional, courteous and very detail oriented. We even had some laughs. Every day he asked me if I had any questions or concerns and addressed everything I had discussed . Tom was very trustworthy and I even felt comfortable enough to leave him my house key every day as I had to leave for work prior to his arrival. Tom cleaned up every day and left my house very clean when the project was over. I feel that the price I paid for all the work I received was very reasonable. Tom Pace, owner of Wallmasters Painting, did an excellent job painting our kitchen. He called us back within a day of calling to request an estimate. He was able to come the next day to give us the estimate. Tom not only gave us an estimate on the prep and painting, but also helped with color selection questions. He was very neat, and respectful of our home. The job was completed in one day. When he completed the job, everything was cleaned up thoroughly, and the kitchen left just the way he found it. We would highly recommend him.

Tom is a true professional who is a master of his craft. He checked out our bathroom gave us options and helped us to visualize the finished product. His pricing was very fair and he told us when he is done the bathroom will feel complete, and it really does now. He showed amazing attention to detail and you can really tell he cares about what he does. He was respectful, and polite. Tom was on schedule and cleaned up very well after each work day. We will definitely be using him again in the future

We called Tom based on his many positive Angie's List reviews. Originally, we just wanted to paint the Kitchen, Hallway and Foyer. We were so pleased with his work, we ended up asking him to do the Den and Living Room. Finally we decided on the bathroom as well. Tom is a great painter and easy to deal with. He has a very likeable personality. He showed up when he was supposed to be here every time. He was neat and organized and got the job done timely. He was also a huge help in choosing paint colors and had a unique idea regarding my fireplace. It came out great. I only wish it was in our budget to paint a few bedrooms! Thanks Tom!

Overall the work that Tom did was impressive. He transformed what was an eyesore and the disappointment of a prior job gone wrong into a work of art. Tom Pace, owner of Wallmasters Painting was one of three recommended painters we chose from Angie's List to give us an estimate for the job of painting the walls and vaulted ceiling of our den and connecting galley-style kitchen. His presentation stood out for his knowledge of his craft, professionalism and attention to detail as he walked us through the job explaining how he would prep the walls and double coat each section of wall and ceiling with great quality paint. He was very patient and helpful when we asked his opinion on wall colors for this project and the connecting rooms. We used his color suggestions for the project and couldn't be happier with the results. On the first day of the job, Tom arrived on time with his assistant and began by moving all furniture to the middle of the room. We appreciated the time and special care they took so that neither our wood floor or furniture were in danger of being damaged. Everything was covered in either plastic or painters' tarp and they prepped the ceiling of both the den and attached kitchen. As work progressed, Tom noticed a a problem with a section of the ceiling. After some investigation, a standing pool of leaked water was found above the ceiling sheet rock that we agreed must be addressed before the project could be finished. This issue was not visible to any member of my family even though we spend a great deal of time in this room. I wonder how many other painters, in their haste to finish, might have overlooked this issue and left me to deal with the inevitable resulting damage after they were gone? We appreciate the professional diligence that discovered this problem. Tom and his assistant worked around the area and finished the job on the second day. Tom recommended a company who found and fixed the leak a week later. As agreed, Tom returned a few days later and, needing two days to do the spackle and double paint coats right, finished the job. His compensation for the extra time was very reasonable and we greatly appreciate that Tom was able to make the time to finish the job before our holiday company arrived. Wallmasters Painting Inc and Tom Pace have my highest recommendation. We are planning to have them back in the near future to paint the rest of the house interior. If you want a job professionally well done at a fair price with someone would will cares as much as you do about the final result, use this company. You will also enjoy the time you spend with Tom Pace.

not good.......no show......no call ***12/18/14 - update to my original review: Did receive a call from the owner apologizing. There seemed to have been some mixup with the appointment confusing me with some other person that had cancelled. Due to the circumstances, the crazy time of the year, and the apology I am changing my "overall" and "professionalism" rating from a "D" to a "C".

Tom and his assistant did a great job. They were both very professional, courteous and timely. Tom even removed some paint the previous painter left behind on our cabinets and floor as well as doing some patchwork required before painting. Great job Tom, will definitely use you again!

Tom from Wallmasters was extremely professional and helpful. He took a great deal of time to investigate the water issues we were having in our basement and went above and beyond to identify the best materials to use to solve the problem. I'm very confident that Wallmasters would have done an excellent job and I would not hesitate to use them for our next project.

Very nice outcome; carefully done with no mess left behind. Tom was very professional and conscientious throughout, from first consultation through to the scheduling and execution of the job. It was a small job, but those he brought to do it, including his son, really seemed to know what they were doing. Tom also was very knowledgeable and helpful in advising us about choices about paint, other associated decision-making. Nothing but good things to say about Wallmasters...

Tom and his employees were so amazing. Poor Jimmy had such a hard time removing wallpaper I had put up improperly 16 years ago. Sean did the bedroom and in a matter of a few hrs you couldn't see all the holes and glue from old posters. Then Sean even argued with me insisting he mop the bathroom floor n vacuum the area adjoing both rooms. They left it neater than when they arrived ha ha A phone call from Tom the owner after the job was very nice asking if I was pleased with the job. I am even planning to use them again next month.

We had wallpaper removed from our dining room/foyer/hallway and crown molding , wainscoting and chair rail put up around our house/bedrooms. Him and his workers were in and out in three days like they had never been there.

Tom is very professional and trustworthy. Job turned out very well. There were no issues with job changes/additions, and Tom was very prompt in getting back to me when I had questions. I would suggest anyone on Long Island looking to have painting work done contact Tom. We plan on using Tom again as soon as the rest of our renovations are completed. Day 1 consisted of wallpaper removal and spackling in 3 of the 4 rooms being painted. Day 2 consisted of removing the wallpaper in room 4, spackling in all 4 rooms, ceilings, trim and doors painted, upstairs 2 rooms painted Day 3 finished job We are very happy with the finished product. The job went very well. Tom and his crew were prompt, courteous, and professional. They were respectful of the contents of the house and protected the furniture well. At the end of each day (they were here for three days) the crew cleaned up and left the house neat and usable. I would contact Wallmasters painting for future jobs.

The job want great! Wasn't happy with the color I picked for master bath, after first coat went on, there was NO PROBLEM CHANGING IT! Still finished in two days as quoted. Cleaned up as if they were never here. Would definitely recommend them. Thank you, Cathy

Excellent job. Tom and his crew were great, cleaned up each day. The way it worked out we had labor day weekend in the middle of the project which I was concerned about. Tom made it work out fine. Was a long process but well worth it. This old house looks new again.
