At our initial meeting, Tom spent a great deal of time discussing what would be the best method to handle specifics and he was very attentive to detail. He took the time to determine exactly what I wanted before he measured and wrote up his estimate. His estimate was clear so that we both had a solid understanding of the project scope. He assured me that his method of skim coating would minimize dust and restore the walls. He told me that the job would take 5-6 days, that he would work very quietly and that he would arrive at 9AM and usually leave around 4PM. Unlike some contractors who literally "take over" the house, Tom demonstrated respect for me and my home. If he needed anything, he asked first. When he was stuck in traffic one morning, he even called to tell me he'd be a bit late. He also helped me pick a color that looks very modern and warm. He vacuumed and picked up all drop clothes prior to leaving each day. When the job was completed, there wasn't even one small drop of paint on the furniture or carpeting. He worked hard and he did a very nice job!

We interviewed 6 painters. We knew Tom was the one before we finished interviewing. He’s has 40 years experience and is very responsive to your needs and takes the time to explain clearly and precisely how he will handle the job including what type of products he uses and how he applies them. His quote of the job was what we expected and with no surprises. Painting an entire house (12 rooms), refinished two bathrooms cabinets and some exterior painting, as well, is no easy task. Tom is the ultimate professional with excellent workmanship, he’s punctual, very mild mannered and very easy to talk to and get advice from color choices to refinishing cabinets. Also, I went to work and left him in my house and even gave him a key to let himself in and out. I highly recommend Tom Pace of Wallmaster’s Painting without reservation.

I was quite pleased how the overall job went. There is many choices when it comes to contracting a painting job for us homeowners. Many of us don't do not undertake such activities very often and as such it is easy to be mislead, over pay, or taken advantage of in some other way. After interviewing 4 painters I quickly decided upon Tom. His professionalism, attention to detail, taking the time to explain all the steps involved, and even providing some feedback on colors separated Tom from the others. His easy going attitude and sincere personality were quite refreshing and his patience at explaining things was most welcome. I expect to do a couple of more rooms in the future and will most definitely contract with Tom again.

Tom was very professional, pleasant to work with and worked closely with us to effectively paint the house as described. The work was done very cleanly and deliberately. Walls were very nicely repaired and look pristine now. Molding work was also done very carefully with small holes filled. Similarly, hundreds of staple holes on the stairs were filled assiduously before painting. Overall, a very good quality job, we will hire Tom again.

Tom did a great job. He offered advice on colors, showed up ontime and did great work. He was also very clean.

Everything went very smoothly. Tom was amenable to adding in some tub caulking and wall tile work in the bathrooms. I'm very pleased with his work. So pleased, I'm having him return to do another small job in a couple of weeks.

Tom did a great job painting my house. I used two other painters and Tom is by far the best. He's very reliable, super clean, and neat. It was a pretty big job to do my house and I was very happy with the outcome. His price is very reasonable. I would highly recommend him for painting. My two dogs, Lucy and Daisy loved him!! That's an added bonus.

We hired Tom because his estimate was the lowest but it turned out we couldn't have made a better choice. His work was exceptional, he was professional, friendly and very easy to work with. He was doing interior painting, walls, trim and some ceilings. He did all we asked without any changes in price or pressure to do more. We would hire him again in a second and will recommend him to any friends who need paint/stain jobs. Our house looks terrific!

Tom, the owner of Wallmasters Painting, completed a complex painting project (including vaulted ceilings) at our home last week and it came out great! He was very professional every step of the way. Tom took time during the estimate to listen to all our concerns and gave helpful advice regarding color combinations and finishes. He even came a second time before he started the job so we could go over the details with him more closely. Tom does not use a “crew” of workers - he personally does each job himself. He worked alone and very methodically and carefully moved & covered the furniture & floors, spackled where needed, and then painted all the trim, walls, and ceilings. He even kept the spackle dust to a bare minimum, as promised. As “do it yourselfers”, it’s very rare for us to hire a contractor. We were very pleased at the meticulous workmanship Tom demonstrated. It’s clear he takes pride in his work. He was patient, trustworthy, and completed the job on time and as quoted. He also cleaned up the work area at the end of each day. We highly recommend his work and plan on using him again.

Tom was great. He was courteous, punctual, and professional. He took his time as if it was his own house. Our walls weren’t in the best condition but after Tom did his thing, we are more then happy with the finished product. We highly recommend Tom for any wall needs you might have. We will be using Tom again for additional wainscoting, shadow boxes, and painting.

It went very well. Tom worked alone, which I appreciated rather than getting a crew of many which would have been the case with several other painters I contacted. He was neat, quite organized, and borders and trim lines were nicely done. Patching wall defects was done nicely. He cleaned up some areas on tile that were painted bright pink by sloppy painting done by previous owner. He was quite good helping us with color selections, as we didn't really know what we wanted. His pricing was high bid, but job description was being modified somewhat as we cycled through interviewing multiple painters. So, based upon that, and what he included, he was in line with other 'top tier' painters, but above others. A few addons we wanted after the job started added to our final cost....wasn't cheap to add on, but I don't think Tom ripped us off either. He came back promptly when called to fix up a couple of small touchups that were needed. He works hard and efficiently.

FABULOUS! I cannot say enough about Tom. He is truly a professional! Responded quickly to any of our questions/concerns. Was prompt and (more than) efficient. Tom noticed areas that we didn't even realize were damaged, and fixed/replaced them. Tom is a pleasure to work with. The job came out even better than we expected, and the price was reasonable, considering what a large job it was. Other contractors were hesitant since the wallpaper was 20+ years old, and the walls were not in terrific shape. WHAT AN AMAZING JOB! WE ARE SO VERY HAPPY! WE WOULD HIRE TOM AGAIN! His pricing is high. He was responsive. He showed up when he was supposed to show up. He was professional.

We were sorry to see our painter leave!! What great work. Tom installed crown molding and painted 3 large rooms and a 2 story center hallway. Tom is a craftsman more than a painter. He has an eye for color, design and is willing to make suggestions, if asked. There was never an issue with communication as he takes pride in a job well done. After a construction project, I needed some painting and sheetrock repair completed prior to a Holiday Party that was a few days away - Tom of Wallmasters Painting called me almost immediately and was able to give an estimate then and there. He was there the next business day and completed the work beyond our satisfaction, he was neat, enjoyable to be around and we had him give estimates for two other jobs that day. I got my whole house painted. They did a great job!

Tom did an excellent job and everything was completed on time and as contracted. I wasn't sure about the color I had chosen at first, so Tom provided a color wheel and told me the areas of the wheel to look at based on my preference I described to him and wound up choosing a perfect color. I couldn't be happier with the color or the quality of the repairs and paint job he did. I'd like to also add that besides being an excellent painter, Tom is a very pleasant guy and very professional. I highly recommend him.

I couldn't have been happier with Tom's work. I interviewed a few painters, but immediately clicked with Tom upon meeting him. His quote was very reasonable and I liked the fact that he'd be doing all of the work himself. Tom was easy to communicate with and offered guidance on colors when necessary. He was patient as I finished up some work with the floors which delayed his original start date and was very upfront about how long it would take him to complete the work and stayed true to his word. I have done a few home renovations over the years and have never been as satisfied with a final product. Tom was careful and precise and my home looks incredible. I highly recommend him and his services. He might take a bit longer than someone else since he works by himself, but it's truly worth the wait!
