Excellent caring by Marc. Unfortunately the purpose of the visit was resolved by itself, somehow without Marc’s interference. The issue was with the sink faucet which was not dispensing water, but somehow it reconciled by itself. Marc was very kind and thorough in explaining an action should a recurrence with the faucet exit. We were pleased with his recommendation and would definitely keep Varsity as our contact for future matters.

Varsity home service solicited me from Angie’s list. I told them I needed a leaking valve replaced. John came out ,explained the work which sounded like a 3-4 he job and I agreed to do it. I was in a bad state of mind at the time and tried to cancel but wanted it over with , and let him do it. It took 45 min to an hour at most.The job was done ok but the price was insane. With 50 dollars off for being a veteran,I was charged $1317.00. When I came to my senses, I realized that the job at most should be no more than $300. I am 89 yes old, and know quite well that this price I paid for a simple repair is a ripoff. How can a business hope to have returning customers if they act this way.

I am very happy with the service I received from Varsity Home Service today. I was given an arrival time and the installation team showed up on time and worked neatly with respect for my home. I had two Fujitsu Air Conditioners/Heaters installed and it has changed the level of comfort in my home instantly. Kevin, Tom and Colin were friendly, engaged and did an amazing job. I barely knew they were here. Before they left they showed everything I needed to know about my new units. I highly recommend Varsity Home Service and the Fujitsu Air Conditioning Unit.

The tech was nice. I had talked to the company and explained I had a crimpt condeser line and it was cooling with less performance they then said there would be a 99 evaluation fee he arrives 3 hours after the original window looks and takes a lot of pictures say he has to talk to office comes back with an estimate 4 times hire then my other estimates I paid it my problem is Angie shows they give free estimates

Varsity was great! From the initial estimate with Anthony to the install with Kevin and his crew (Alexis, Thomas and Tyler) , we are so pleased. Everyone was on time, courteous, professional, competent and went above and beyond. Pricing was very fair. We would highly recommend for Varsity for AC ductwork and will continue to use their services for future HVAC needs.

I am very happy with the installation. Kevin, Tom and Alexis did a great job. They were very neat, courteous and professional. I enjoyed watching them work as I am very interested in home mechanics!! They were very patient with my curiosity. I enjoyed their company. Special shout out to Vinny our salesman for treating us fairly and respectfully as well.

These guys were great. They were very communicative, and explained everything they would do in detail. They had a lot of integrity and did everything they said they were going to do and in the timeframe promised. The only drawback, if you can call it that, is that they are a little bit expensive. In my opinion though, worth every penny.

Had a leak in my slab over the new year. Vidal and Ramon were on time. They efficiently did the work in re-routing the plumbing to my bathrooms. Both Vidal and Ramon are meticulous in explaining what they planned to do - no surprises. The entire crew works as one. They aren't cheap - but their work is excellent.

Not at all happy with the way they do business. Gave me an estimate to replace a water heater that included many things that they said I had to have. Estimate was over $3100. Talked to other companies and found that the things they said were required, in fact were not and totally unneeded in my system. Got the job done for $1000 with another company.

If you need any plumbing done, look no further. If you have a slab leak and you need the problem resolved, definitely don't waste your time looking elsewhere. We had the unfortunate experience, after receiving a water bill six times higher than usual, to learn that we had a slab leak. Different options were explained to us, no pressure was applied. Since our house is over 60 years old, we decided to have our entire first floor repiped rather than jackhammering the problem location and just replacing a small section of the pipe. Ryan M, Brandon, Ramon and Vinny began the project two days later. They were a superb team: professional, competent, courteous and considerate. A slab leak is an anxiety producing issue but Ryan M. managed to allay our fears. He is a combination master plumber and diplomat. Areas of sheetrock had to be cut in order to facilitate the repiping but it was done in a surgical manner. Our set up was a little more complicated because two zones were affected but that was not a problem for Varsity. The team arrived early every morning, worked the entire day and did a great job cleaning up before leaving. In addition to the slab leak repair, we had a combination boiler installed to replace our traditional set up ($800 rebate from National Grid) and some baseboard replaced. The entire project took three days. We have used Varsity for a number of plumbing and heating issues for over five years now, they never disappoint.

The removal of the old system and install of the new took less than a day. The crew was on time, polite, and cleaned up after themselves at the end.

Excellent crew. One crew came for an estimate and was able to get another crew in a little later to install. All the crew that handled the installation were professional, knowledgeable, amicable and capable. I did not shop around, so I cannot say whether the price was competitive, but I am very happy with the whole experience, including customer service reps.

They came out and provided written proposal for the service, they were very quick on the job. I can say that the job was on a high standards. In addition to the service that they provided, they also recommended some contractors for the finishing. When they do what they say what they're gonna do that's the most you can ask for. I will definitely recommend them and use in the future if necessary.

This morning Tim and Jack came to my home to assess a water leak. They arrived on time, explained what they’d be doing and got right to work. Within minutes, they had the issue diagnosed and explained options to fix the problem. They were both friendly and made sure I understood all options before leaving. In addition, answered some other questions I had about possible work in the future. They made sure I knew how to reach them if I had any further questions. I couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience; thank you Varsity, Tim and Jack!

Varsity installed a new high efficiency gas combi boiler (heat and hot water) for our home. Working with them has been one of the best contractor experiences I have ever had in all my years of home ownership. They are very responsive, care a lot about the quality of their work, use well qualified technicians, and follow through on all their commitments. They follow up on all calls, come when they promise, get the job done and really seem to care about their reputation and work quality. They are a little bit more expensive than some of their competitors, but they are worth the price. Just to be clear - I am not a paid shill. I almost never give such good reviews, and I have been maintaining a home now for a long time.
