If you are looking for the cheapest way to do install or repair a system, we are not your contractor. We install only the best systems and do not skimp on quality. Our Technicians are the best at what they do, they are trained and able to do it right the first time. it doesn't matter if we repair your system or replace it, you can rest assured it will be done right. Employees do not come cheap either, we provide extensive training on the latest product to insure they know how to work on your system, All of our employees are drug tested and back round checked so there is no worry to allow them into your home. Our staff is paid very well so that they can provide the best service to you. We give options to every customer, since everyone's needs are different we provide solutions based on your situation. Total Air Comfort understands how expensive HVAC repairs are, so we decided to put a system in place to allow customers to have options and not be pressured. Our system is called upfront pricing, and this is how it works. 1. We charge a trip fee for a service call. This gets you a qualified technician with a fully stocked truck that is able to make 80% of the repairs at the time of the call. 2. The tech will assess the situation and give the owner options. The options will consist of a quick fix or Band Aide repair that will get the system up and running with minimal cost. A more intensive repair option which will identify components that are going to fail in the near future to have uninterrupted heat or cooling throughout the season, this with usually include performing maintenance to the system as

Installed a brand-new Boiler in my home and i couldn't be any happier with the results. Very professional and they offer financing which is great because we really needed a new one and Eddie explained everything to me and my husband. and all as finished within a day i called.

Horrible from start to finish. First he, the owner no less, told me I not only had to replace the heater but hundreds more for a humidifier. He shows up and had the wrong size humidifier and suddently, voila, I don't need one. Padding the bill???? Then he installs the heater and leaves a gaping hole where much of the heat escapes into the basement. He did a lousy patch up job when i complained about it. It should have been done right to begin with.

Yes, we did replace his furnace. Yes, we did not install a humidifier on his system because it did not fit and refund his money for it. Yes, we did to go back to repair an air leak in a connection under warranty at no charge. Yes, we used the new filter that was a day old. Yes, did the customer that wrote this review threatened our company with writing bad reviews if we did not perform maintenance for free. No, we are not going to do work for a customer that is trying to bully us to do work for free. Total Air Comfort has zero tolerance for bully’s! This customer wanted us to be an expert witness for the last company he took to Peoples Court. [Member Name Removed] has a tendency, when he doesn’t get his way, he bully’s them to try to get what he wants. We explained to [Member Name Removed] that we would come down to evaluate his system and if the was under warranty we would let him know at the time of the visit. if it was not under warranty, then he would have to pay for it. the customer that wrote this review was offered options for maintenance contract, an extended warranty, as well as a filtration system (a filter track) he decided he did not want pay for it at the time it was offed to him. Now he wants us to provide the options that he chose not to do at the time of the installation, and expects us to do it under warranty and not charge him. or he will write bad reviews online about us. Sorry we don't play that game.

This review is long but that is because Total Air Comfort made SO Many mistakes. First Total Air installed the furnace incorrectly leave hot air blowing out of the system in a large gap, they came back to fix it. Eddie told me and billed me for a humidifier then arrived with the wrong size humidifier and took it off the bill. My question is, if I needed a humidifier why did you not then get the correct size and install it. Second, Eddie is an experienced installer and I believe the company owner so I feel he should have KNOWN what size to bring. But the darker side of Total Comfort is that Eddie was quick to add on $400 to the bill and when he brings the wrong size what ..Suddently I don't need one? This alone is disturbing enough. Stupidly I called them again and then Total Air Confort supposedly did a tune up during which I found out they did not replace the filter and as it turns out they did not change it the first time either. Seriously Eddie, what are you saving there, five bucks on a $4,000 job?? Then the old unit had a bar that went across the filter to hold it in place. No such bar was installed at any time and so the filter is not being held firmly in place. I called letting all the rest of the mistakes go but felt the filter not having been changed and more importantly the bar to hold it in place was the very least Total Air Comfort could do regarding the installation of the Goodman Furnace. While his staff seemed friendly the truth is they would not come an fix it without first threatening me with a charge of $179 if in their opinion the trip deemed it. This is not acceptable. Especially since I have had nothing but trouble with them and the shady side of not even changing a five buck filter. Doing all the things wrong installing it as I stated above and then not wanting to even fix one small thing in my mind is penny wise and dollar foolish. I did state unequivocally that I would be forced to leave an honest review of what happened and that it would be negative and that if even one person read it and decided not to use Air Comfort it would not be worth getting a negative review over such a small request. Now the question you must ask is , do I want to spend thousands of dollars with a company who might be sloppy, installation incorrectly, no changing of parts that should have been with a new furnace and IF you have the slightest problem being charged $179 even if it was Total Air Comfort fault. I am no spring chicken at 70 but I still have my wits about me and it seems clear to me that this company has earned this negative review big time. I let the first few mistakes go but when we get down to cheating me out of a lousy filter and possible harm to my furnace with no bar holding the filter I had to buy for it that it would be very very foolish to even consider spending your money and risking your life with someone who if they are sloppy with the installation might kill you and your family and in an extreme case might blow up your entire neighborhood. So Seriously, with so many companies out there with 5 star feedback and much fewere negative reviews why take a chance that they will service you the same way. It is my opinion that you would be taking your life in your hands letting Total Air Comfort do work on anything in your home especially any work with gas and carbon monoxide. Why would you even take the chance.

Technician was prompt and courteous. All was fine prior to the estimate. In explaining the estimate there was some sort of "club" to join. And some sort of 15% discount. Lol. All in all, they WAnted $1459 in addition to the $169 to replace the fan blade and the fan motor... that's $1628 total. I did a very quick Internet search on the 2 parts that they were replacing and they cost a total of $150 from Blackman supply in Huntington. In the end I ordered the parts the next day and installed it myself. It tool me 15 minutes. I have some skills but nothing more than most people. I watched a few videos and did it. It's now working like a charm. What upsets me is that they were charging over 1600 dollars for $150 in parts and no more than an hour work TOPS. They are a ripoff and cannot be trusted.
Description of Work: Nothing. Gave me an estimate. Came same day to look at my AC unit which was not working. Charged me 40$ extra for weekend service and said the 169 charge would NOT be credited to any work done because it was a weekend.
