Marra Electric installed a new electric meter panel and appropriate wiring and conduit. Fair price, very professional and punctual (showed up at exactly the date and time they promised). The work was top notch and the physical layout looks fantastic. Did an excellent job and will consider them as my go-to electricians. Would highly recommend Marra Electric to anyone in Long Island, NY.

There were two people to do work who were very nice and knowledgeable. I like they were knowledgeable and that they made the area safe. They completed in thirty minutes, so they were very quick.

Excellent! Kevin solved 4 longstanding problems that others could not fix all for the cost of a service call. He was on time, friendly, explained everything to me, and fixed all problems in a short amount of time. I would recommend this company to everyone and I will definitely be using them in the future.

It went great. The technician arrived on time and was very professional.

Dan came out to give us an estimate on a few jobs we wanted done around the house and property. Price he quoted was very fair, he mentioned at the time if we wanted to dig the trench necessary to run the electrical line from the power box to the pool house (about 15 feet) he would give us a discount on the final cost. (This was more work than I expected, but well worth it) They did a very neat and thorough job, we were very happy with the end product. Would definitely use them again.

It could not have been better. Dan was on time, professional and pleasant. He thought the appointment was just for an estimate and I thought it was to have the work done. Was not a problem at all. Dan came back 30 minutes later and completed the job.

Arranged to send their man the next morning at 8 AM to do our small job before they started bigger jobs. showed up on time and completed installation within 30 minutes. that is great service. given value of service their price was more than acceptable.

I used Marra electric to install two new ceiling fans. They had to change one bar box to a fan rated box. Did great job. They made sure they covered my furniture and cleaned up after. They arrived early and were very friendly.I would use Marra Electric again

They are very reasonable in price. They came within in the 2 hour window in which was scheduled. Pretty friendly and the I appreciate the owner being very honest with me. Kevin who did the work was also very polite.

They were scheduled to install the lights on May 20. Dan Marra, the owner, called today (May 14) and said that electricians Kevin and Will were in the Huntington area and had an unexpected break between jobs and were able to come over to do the work -- Great! The four lights were expertly installed and tested, no muss-no fuss. Altogether, from wiring to installation, these guys are top-notch professionals. Couldn't be more pleased.

Called to get an estimate and Danny was able to stop by the very same day. Very courteous and professional. Provided us with an estimate which was very reasonable. Kevin came to do the work which went very smoothly. Price was exactly as estimated. Highly recommend Marra Electric, and will certainly be using them in the future.

Kevin and his assistant, Will, did an outstanding job. They installed the wiring for 4 undercabinet lights in the kitchen prior to the installation of a tile backsplash and will return to install the fixtures after the backsplash is completed. They "pig-tailed" off four receptacles and brought the Romex cable up through small holes that had to made in the sheetrock just below the cabinets. A wood firebreak between the studs required a recess to be drilled out of the wood to make space for the cable. They tied off the ends of the cable with electrical tape and neatly coiled them to stay in place next to the wall up against the cabinet bottoms in preparation for the tilework to be done. The laundry room ceiling light had a single on-off switch at the entrance. It's a long room with a door at the end opening to the garage, but there was no switch at that end to turn on the light when you entered from the garage - a real nuisance. Ken and Will converted the system to 3-way lighting and added the on-off switch to the wall next to the garage door. The work involved running 3-wire Romex in the basement ceiling and fishtailing the wiring up through the walls. What a pleasure it is now to be able to enter the laundry room from the garage, just reach around to turn on the light, and then turn off the light when exiting the room at the opposite end. Thes guys did professional work and cleaned up neat as a pin.

Needed a new ceiling fan installed. I used Marra previously so I called once again. Received call back & appt. the same day. Job a little more than expected, due to some old attic issues. Situation corrected. They even ran out to purchase an attic light which they also installed. Danny and Kevin are very friendly, personable, neat (drop cloth down wherever they work), accommodating and very fairly priced. This the the electrician I will call every time.

Couldn't be more pleased. The bathroom had no fan. It was installed from scratch requiring wiring, ceiling cutout, unit mounting, switch, maneuvering around the attic and HVAC ductwork, positioning the exhaust duct out toward the soffett vent rather than up through the roof, and removing/replacing insulation.. From estimate to scheduling to doing the job, this is an electrician who knew what he was doing, did it perfectly to my complete satisfaction and left the bathroom spotless. Labor and materials are guaranteed for one year. Dan Marra (owner-electrician) and Kevin (staff electrician) were great to deal with: knowledgeable, cheerful and courteous. I plan to have them back for more electrical work.

Dan is a total gentleman, I got a good feeling from him the moment he came to my home for an estimate, professional, courteous, & knew what he was talking about! The Experience from beginning to end was great, there were no hidden fees or up charges, no funny business, he went above & beyond! His Partner Kevin was also extremely knowledgeable, courteous, & professional! they came in the morning & there was no standing around or hesitation about what needed to be done, they got right to work! Daniel was great. Super nice guy. I wasn't even planning on having all this work done. I had Daniel out to the house to troubleshoot an electrical problem I had and just happen to start talking to him about these other projects I had in the back of my head. I felt so comfortable with him that I scheduled him and his team to come out the following week. Scheduled him on a Monday but he was very flexible with me when I asked to change to a tuesday. Daniel came out with 2 additional guys. Kevin and a Young Buck. Kevin was awesome, very informative and willing to talk to me about what he was doing and answer my many questions. The Young Buck was fine. Friendly and quiet, It was apparent that he was very into what he was doing and taking direction from the Daniel and Kevin. It was a good amount of projects I set out for them. They started at 9am and were wrapping up at about 3:30. The lighting on the outside of the house looks stunning and because they used the LEDs not costing me barely anything to keep on. Very happy with these cats and I have already been in discussions with them for future projects. Im very excited that there is no longer a need for me to shop around for other electricians. I don't even feel I need to get estimates from other people. From now on Daniel and the boys at Marra are my GoTo Guys!

I have used Marra frequently for various jobs over the past 2 years. Dan and his staff are professional, quick to respond, and work with the homeowner to explain options and operations of installed products. If all services were as good as Marra, there would be no need for an Angies List! :) I recommend them highly and intend to use them in the future for any electrical needs in my house...
