Description of Work: Came to troubleshoot a problem that I thought was major. Turned out to be a relatively minor fix. They pointed out another issue that will be addressed at a later date. Nice couple of guys, including the owner. Professional and punctual with no heavy sales pitch.

Description of Work: the owner himself showed up because his other guys were out busy. the amount of trouble he went through to diagnose my problem and came up with a solution for me that was not over price was amazing. incredible service. work very cleanly. i love those guys. would recomment them 100 percent. anyone else could have charged me an ARM and 2 LEGs.

Description of Work: I called Marra Electric to investigate the flickering lights in my house. They were very professional and knowledgeable and determined that the problem was most likely some faulty connections on the outside of my house. They replaced the 3 connections and I was pleased that the total cost was only the $125 for the service call plus about $30 for the parts. Very reasonable and efficient.

Description of Work: They installed a bathroom ceiling exhaust fan, which our bathroom never had before. Marra cut out a new whole in the ceiling, ran the vent outside and made a hole for the vent, ran a new wire down to accommodate the fan, and installed a fan timer switch. They arrived promptly, were very friendly. They made sure I was okay with every aspect of the job, from where the fan was to how to set up the new switches. And we were very lucky--the fan we had bought was too deep, but they had one on hand that worked, so we didn't have to reschedule the job. Very pleased with their work and would definitely hire Marra again!

Description of Work: The electricity to my house went totally out. I called Marra and they were available to come to my home within two hours. Danny and Kevin explained my electrical service to me- with great patience I might add. They also stayed with the LIPA service person who checked the overhead line, they even let the LIPA lineman use their ladder. They also helped me to understand the electrical components of my heating system and my gas fireplace. I would definitely use Marra Electric again.
