Price was NOT the cheapest, but they were rated as GAF Master Craftsmen, which was important to me. They were on time and efficient, and I have had no roof issues since their job. On-site crew was helpful and courteous and explained everything they were doing.

Removed old roof and put on new "architectural" roof. Materials were more expensive than we expected. Job looked great on a 100 year old Tudor style home._x000D_|The work site was absolutely spotless at the end of each day. will use them to replace some windows in spring.

A number of people, including my parents (who had a roof and siding installed by KQ) recommended King Quality to my husband and I when we were in the market for replacing our old ugly Aluminum siding with Vinyl siding. Joe was our sales rep and was extremely responsive during the entire project. The project took a total of 2.5 days, his crew showed up on time every day of the project and left the exterior of our home neat and clean every day after they were done working. I get compliments on my siding all the time - I love the way my house looks now! King Quality uses very high quality products, and Joe was right, the foam insulation definitely has made a difference in our house, the house is now warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. Price wise, they were not the cheapest but not the most expensive (Actually Home Depot was the most expensive believe it or not.) My only few concerns that occurred after the installation are the following. Project completed May 2012: 1. June 2013 - We noticed about a year after the siding was installed our sheetrock was "bubbling" in part of the kitchen. My husband removed the sheetrock to find our foam insullation staring back at us (yes no paper sheathing under the foam either.) There had been a hole in the wood for an old Kitchen fan. When King Quality's crew was installing the siding they went over it, instead of bringing the missing wood/sheathing to our attention in order to have it fixed (which I would have gladly paid for.) We immediately called Joe at King Quality and sent pictures of the opening to the King Quality email address on their website. We were promptly called back Monday morning and over the next 2 weeks they sent a contractor to fix the issue at no cost to us. 2. October 2012 - After Hurricane Sandy last year (we live mid-Island, not on the water) some of the siding started to come off between two windows upstairs. We called King Quality, spoke to Joe, with all the storm damage and an impending snow storm he said he would do his best to get a worker to our home to get this fixed. Two weeks later I had a message from Joe he was sending someone, I came home from work and the siding was fixed and beautiful again. 3. October 2013 - Over this past weekend, that same piece of siding from last year has come off again, Spoke to the receptionist at King Quality (who is extremely nice) and my husband is waiting on a call from Joe to get this resolved. Moral of my long story, things happen after home improvement projects are completed, however King Quality has shown time and time again they stand behind their work and their product even after the project is completed. Should the above issues have occurred, probably not, but at least I have the ease of mind that I can call Joe at King Quality and my issue will be taken care of.

Arrived on time, installed windows properly with moulding. Fast & professional. No complaints.

While price is on the high side, Simonton windows, which they mostly sell, is of good quality and does what the Michael (sales) advertises, and he's honest about what works and doesn't and is very professional. Job completion time is within promise. Overall speaking, I would recommend going with quality, knowing that they are not the cheapest but they do get the job done well. Two things happened with the installation: 1) they measured two of the windows a bit too small, as they found out during installation that the base of the window frame needs to be removed (some old wood there?). Being a professional, could they have known? I did tell them that they can do whatever they need to get the correct measurement knowing that we will redo the wall and external siding later. They end up having to put some wood underneath the windows. It seems to be sturdy but I know it won't be perfect. 2) we ordered frosted window for the bathroom and a clear window for the basement, and the order got switched. Not sure whether it's Simonton or King Quality who made the mistake. They did place a new order for the windows with Simonton, and we withhold some part of the payment. A bit more than two weeks later, they came to finish the job.

When I made the appointment they INSISTED it be at night, even though I said it was bad for me, they PROMISED they would come. I waited and waited, no one showed up I get a call saying he was overbooked and would try and fit me in another time. Not even an Im sorry, NOTHING! no follow up, it seemed like I was a bother.

My experience went very well overall. The staff was very professional and highly knowledgeable in their field. The pricing was reasonable for the quality of work provided. I was pleased with the outcome of the service. I would recommend this company to others.

a leak It went very well ,they were very good at their craft and did a great job. My house looks like a newly constructed home. I did however have a problem with a leak that developed after the job was complete,in a joint in the roof . I never had a leak before and know that whatever was done during construction that joint in my roof was disturbed and allowed water to come into my home. After several attempts to seal the leak ,king quality was successful at stopping the water from entering at that joint in the roof. It took over a year to finally stop and fix the problem. Dimitri, who is the forman finally helped complete the process.

I had called them for an estimate to put on new roof and after the other estimates they were $6,000-$7,000 more than the others, ridiculously over priced.

Price is on the high end, but you get what you pay for, which in this case was phenomenal. These guys were CRAFTSMAN. The quality of their work was impeccable, and they came every day on time for 2 straight weeks including Sunday's. They were pleasant, friendly, helpful, and were a joy to work with. My house looks awesome and their clean up after the job was great. I couldn't be happier with the service provided by King Quality.

The work was very professionally done. They were right on the price. I will use these guys again for more work.

Overall the job went extremely well with no issues. We got two calls confirming our appointment for the following day and what to expect. Their foreman came by the day before and inspected and again laid out what would be done. The dumpster arrived as promised and the work crew were right on time. They waste no time .. work started immediately and they only took a lunch break. Start to finish 6 hours tops. Everything was done as promised and they left nothing but the roof. No scraps or rubbish. The price was a little higher than other estimates we got but was well worth it for the workmanship and warranty.

Not impressed unprofessional to say the least.

They were at the midpoint of the three estimates we got. We chose them not only because of their prices but the presentation was very thorough, explaining in detail what we were paying for. The other estimates just had general descriptions. It took two days to complete the roof and gutters and at the end of each day they cleaned up after themselves. We've seen other roofing projects in the neighborhood and witnessed houses that look like a war zone for days, we were pleased that was not the case with us.

My initial call to Quality received a quick response. The roof was carefully examined as was the siding and sagging roof overhang I received a thorough explanation of the work needed with a detailed guide to the way the roof would be redone to insure a high quality job. I had 3 other quotes from others and Quality was much more thorough. The contractor showed me a book detailing how the work would be done. This job is backed up by the roof manufacturer. The manufacturer will inspect the roof for quality of the job within 5 weeks. Anything short of the high standards set will be corrected. The job comes with a 25 year labor and 50 year material guarantee. Also the warrantee is transferable to new owners if i sell the house. I provided a small deposit and within two weeks the dumpster, shingles and workman arrived on time.They had at different times during the day up to 9 men working. They said the job would be done in one day and it was. The word that came to mind while watching the men work was professionalism. They really knew what they were doing. I had 3 roofs to do. When one roof was done , one crew started to place the underlayment and remove flashing to get into corners. The process went smoothly. There were large amounts of shingles removed and all day these were carried to the dumpster. The roof was on by late afternoon. The drooping roof was reinforced and the siding done while new flashing was placed around the chimney. They finished in the dark by 630 pm. Sure were hard working guys. The clean up was very well done .Tarps were placed all over and no damage was done. By the next day the dumpster was removed. The roof looks beautiful and has been tested by 2 heavy rain storms. Another positive point was a supervisor was there to check on and off all day. A few minor problems were followed up quickly. This is the second time I used Angies. The first was excellent and the second equally so.

Price higher than everyone, but we went with them since they offered best warranty from the manufacturer, and could finance the cost of the roof. They did a great job and were professional. There were a few workmanship issues that we brought to the attention of the supervisor, and they were corrected immediately. Overall good experience.

had siding and 3 doors installed on my house. The sales person was very pushy, and in my opinion, unprofessional. Bad mouthed every contractor i had gotten other estimates from. I must say, the work that was done was excellent. The crew, headed by Jerry, were great. They did amazing work down to every last detail. When the job was 99% done, i paid them half the money and the rest was financed. There were only a few things left to do. They had to stain the front door and install door hardware. It took them close to 2 months to do that. I had to constantly call them to see what was going on. I feel like they had my money and didnt really care about completing the job. Also, throughout the process, the salesperson called several times to add on additional fees. I felt like i was getting nickled and dimed by them.

Fred was prompt and thoroughly detailed. He provided references, proof of insurance and brought samples of the product that he would be using. He gave us a price of $16,700 for the entire roof. Being our first estimate, we had no idea if this was reasonable or not, but when he left, we were more than 50% of the way towards using him, provided our other estimates were "in the ballpark". He called back a week or so later and told me that he was able to reduce the price of the financing (60 months) down to $14,900. He then asked if he and his team could start on Monday as they had another job going in the neighborhood. I told him that we still had not gotten other estimates (which actually angered him) and that I am very busy and likely would not be doing the project until September. He then said that was not a problem but then the price would be back up at $16,700. I have hired countless contractors and other service companies and it is a huge red flag when someone says a price in Mid July won't be there in early September. This was a "hard sell" where he was basically saying that if I didn't do a $15+K job RIGHT NOW then that price would jump by almost $2000 in a month. At that point I said that's a chance I'll take bc I still had not gotten any other estimates. I have since gone onto Angie's List and found 2 companies who came much more highly recommended (both had 97% or higher ratings) in my area. I had both come out for written estimates and both came within $500 of each other, one at $8000 and the other at $8500. For just about $500 more they would replace the leaders and gutters as well.This wasn't in the ball park of King Quality, this was not even in the same hemisphere. I expected maybe 12k, or 13k but for King Quality to be double 2 other reliable estimates simply seems like they are way over priced. I am sure that Fred was on the level in terms of the quality of the materials as he sold us a specific "rip proof" material that they use instead of the traditional black paper, but I can't believe that this product is worth paying almost $8000 more for the same roof, with the same GAF product.We have since hired another roofer from this site and the work is set to commence in about 2 weeks. Fred also told us that nobody outside of a Home Depot or Sears could offer longer than 12 month financing. This company offered 12, 18, 24,36,48 and 60 month financing. I ended up taking an 18 month finance and saved about $7000 off of what King Quality would have charged me.

They were very competitive in price. They were very clean. They were also very professional. They came and did there job.

This company was eager for business and showed up when they said they would. Their price was most expensive out of several estimates received however they offer a 30 year warranty on some of their roofs which is great. Several years after having a new roof (entire house) installed, it began to leak. I tried calling them for over a month (not exagerating) to get someone to come over a look at the leak. I was either told 1-they would call me back and never did or 2-someone would show up and never did. One of the female owners told me they were so busy with 'new' business that it would be awhile before someone got to 'old' customers. The nerve! It was unbelievable that this is how they handle their customers. The service manager, Joe, is a very nice guy to deal with however I didn't get the impression that he has a good handle on his staff as one of his guys never called or came by as promised several times. Almost 2 months after my initial phone call someone came to repair the roof but once it rained the leak was still there. He came back and said he did a little more repair (whatever that means) and now it does't leak as bad but there is still a leak. I am comtemplating taking legal action as they are not holding up their end of the warranty.

The job was done smoothly and efficiently. I added having the trim capped with vinyl in the middle of the window job. They were cheerful and cooperative about the addition. I'd recommend them without reservation.

We had King Quality in for a estimate. They were 1 of 5. They were by far the most expensive. We will not be considering them.

I had three estimates for roofing and they were one of them. They were the most expensive. The reason the price is so high is that, they guarantee their roofing. Their price was substantially higher. First of all I wasn’t going to go with them because their price was so much higher. They have some kind of an inspector that they chose, who will supposedly come after the job is done and inspect the roof to make sure that it’s done properly. Then they give you some kind of a thirty year warranty. Other places gave you the same kind of warranty but they didn’t have some inspector come that you would pay for. I figured the extra money that I would be paying for, is for the insurance incase something happened. It’s like going in and buying an extended insurance for electronics and stuff like that. It doesn’t seem worth it. It was like a hard sell kind of a thing. I’m not particularly partial to hard sell. They were very responsive and they were pretty punctual too. They were professional as well. I would not use their services again in the future.

The roof leaked. The storm doors had holes in them. I had to buy new ones and they sent someone out to install them and they slam and they have not come to adjust it. One of the doors has totally separated from the frame. The asphalt sidewalk was about an inch thick and grass came through the cracks which happened before the winter. They told me to go out and spray grass killer, which I did. After the following winter the cracks got worse and more grass come through. The roof leaked, they told me that I needed an new attic fan, that there was a crack. They also told me that there was a special siding that needed to be added to the chimney, which I also agreed to. Then we had our first snow and it leaked and I called them to stop the leak. When they put the gutters up, they were supposed to put them along the side of the patio, when they put it on they put it on top of the roof of the patio, which looked aweful, they finally corrected that problem. The storm door man came and brought some doors which were aweful looking. I then purchased $1,000.00's worth of new doors and they said they would install them for free. Once installed, my doors would not close properly. I have been calling them since then about the doors and they are telling me that they can't adjust the doors, which I do not believe. Then the ice storms came and the leaf guards were collecting ice. The leaf guard installer told me that the model they installed was obsolete and that this was a problem with these leaf guards. I had asked them not to install the leaf guards, which they forced me to do. I am a little bit afraid of the manager - I just don't trust him. He kept telling me that there was nothing wrong.
