Customer service was on point, Margaret was extremely professional and considerate in meeting our sense of emergency and collaborated with us to resolve our scheduling issues. Eli and Matt arrived on time and did an excellent job replacing a pipe and rebuilding two toilets. They were extremely neat as well as professional and polite We are incredibly pleased with the service provided by Sampson Plumbing and would use them again.

I got charged a 271% markup on a $120 part and got the run around when I tried to understand the pricing despite asking them prior to the service call how they charged. The excuse for the high price was changed several times from fixed rate to couriers to warranty etc neither of which seemed reasonable as I specifically said it wasn't a rush job. Unfortunately I wasn't able to check the part's price before the technician left. I felt like it was pure price gouging and the customer service afterwards was terrible.

We contracted Sampson Plumbing and Heating for a new boiler and water heater, and repair of a slow (drip-like) leak in the kitchen sink plumbing. First, let us note that the quality of the work is first-rate. One- anyone, for that matter- could see immediately the workmanship: copper tubing at right angles, copper tubing running perfectly straight along the walls, neat and spotless clean. Second, and this is equally important, the workers (Chris, Brian, Rich and Mark) were exceedingly polite. Some of you might have had an experience as we have had in which we hired a tradesman, whereupon he acted as if he was doing us the favour or all favours by coming to our house. Such was not the case with Sampson P&E. Their workers were as gracious for choosing them, their company, as we were for the work they did. Lastly, a compliment must be directed to the receptionist/secretary who receives their calls. She is as pleasant as a spring morning and immediately creates a good impression of the company. Thank you, Sampson Plumbing and Heating, for the work you did at our home. Oh, and a Merry Christmas to you!

Joe and his team are upstanding professionals they got the job done and didn’t leave a mess behind they even corrected some of the previous errors I had with my plumbing definitely going to use them going forward.

I recently engaged Joe Sampson plumbing to replace a boiler and hot water heater along with some additional domestic water and gas piping work. From the onset, my experience with Joe Sampson and his entire team was top notch - very professional, great customer service, showed up on time, and the team took effort to be neat, clean up, and provide a professional grade installation. The team also made sure to check in with suggestions on how to improve ideas on the project which as a homeowner I truly appreciated. I was wowed by the outstanding customer service Jaime provided me with! I called the company late in the day before a holiday and she patiently worked with me on figuring out what was wrong, as well as with scheduling an appointment. Jaime made me feel like she cared about my issue and went the extra mile to help get me squeezed in at the last minute. Because of Jaime's great attitude, professionalism, and helpfulness- I am looking forward to working with this company for all my plumbing needs and will definitely refer them to others!

They arrived on time, removed the old water heater and installed the new water heater. They reworked some plumbing to have the water lines connect to the new heater. Cleaned up all sweated joints, cleaned up the floor where the work was performed and then made sure everything was working. I would definitely call them for future plumbing work.

I called Sampson Plumbing and spoke to the secretary who scheduled an appointment the same day. I was given a call prior to the plumber's arrival and they were on schedule. When the plumber made his observation of the bathroom, he immediately realized what the cause may be. He was correct and made the repair in addition, the line was tested to be sure there were no further leaks. I appreciated how quickly he determined the problem and his professionalism.

Couldn't have asked for a better installation. All the people were great from Jaime in the office who personally came to my house to have me sign for the permit application to the guys that did the install. It went without a hitch. Totally happy with the new system. I can shower for hours with the tankless hot water. Also had them install a new gar stove top.They got here promptly at 8am and were finished by 2pm. Highly recommend these company!

Text Book Heating System Replacement

My first experience hiring a plumber and it couldn’t have been better. From start to finish it was a smooth transaction. I really appreciated that they gave the price over the phone. Two other plumbers I called wanted to come and charge me $39 for an estimate (refundable only if you booked the job with them). I found this strange. I wasn’t going to pay $39 only to find out their prices were too high! This wasn’t a large or complicated job where an estimate would be necessary. A good plumber knows what changing out a faucet entails. They scheduled the appointment promptly and they arrived on time. They couldn’t have been nicer or more professional. I would highly recommend and will definitely use them again.

Joe Sampson came to my house and discussed options with me, including the pros and cons of the different equipment choices, as well as the best way to run the pipe to the fireplace. His prices were reasonable and he came highly recommended from an associate, so I chose him for the project. Jaime from his office was an absolute delight to work with and took care of all the scheduling, the permits, and the rebate paperwork with National Grid. Once National Grid had placed the gas pipe, Joe and his crew came and took care of the entire project. I could not be more pleased with the results. Joe and his crew were friendly and polite, they were neat (which has not always been my experience with contractors), and their work was impeccable. I have never had a better experience with a contractor. I highly recommend them!

It was a seamless transition. Professionally done in all aspects. The pipes were properly insulated and everything was vented properly as well. The garage was also left spotless. In our case; it was done in the space of two days. I would recommend them Highly to anyone.

They were good. They were very well. He charged a very reasonable price. He was very good. Plumbers get $150 an hour, and I got two hours. It was an A for me. It was two guys. The quality was excellent. I thought the came when they said they were going to come. They were very professional.

True to the reviews here, Joe Sampsons Plumbing beat out the competition and really came to the table with excellent service and pricing. Lots of respect for a reasonable and fair quote that included parts and labor and didn't change as the work was being done (pictures really helped Joe get an idea of what was going on, so there were no surprises). The young men came to do the appointment earlier than expected, got the job done in a quick couple of hours or so in the scorching summer heat with nary a complaint. They were cool with showing me what was going on and earned themselves a little extra from me. Several weeks later and the job remains intact, and the work itself LOOKS new, strong, perfect. Joe was fantastic for a list of reasons! I would 100% recommend Sampson Plumbing to everyone and I would absolutely call him again!! 1) Price: I met with 5+ plumbers and I called about 10 plumbers before hiring anyone. Some plumbers wanted to charge $50 just for assessing the job to provide an estimate (Joe provided a free estimate). Most quoted me between $1,000 to $3,000 more than Joe! If you are price shopping, then just quit now and call Joe. I already did the leg work for you. He is by far the most reasonably priced and he was the only one that seemed honest and trustworthy. Plus, he did not nickel and dime me for minor items. 2) Professionalism: Joe was the ONLY plumber who took it upon himself to email ME to follow up after our visit and he provided a detailed estimate in writing. Other plumbers from Angie's List didn't get back to me at all. After we had scheduled the long list of work, I called him thinking that I needed to add more projects to the list. He asked me to text him photos of the pipe in question. Joe explained that the pipe was fine for now and he will address it when he is scheduled to come rather than charging me for an entirely separate visit. THAT is HONESTY! He could have taken advantage and made more money off of me. 3) Scheduling: Joe was very easy to schedule with. When he had an earlier opportunity to come, he called the night before and asked if he could start a day earlier. 4) His crew: His crew (Scott and Tom?) was an absolute pleasure to work with. They went above and beyond their job. My contractor didn't follow the construction schedule so there was no sheetrock on the wall when they came to install baseboards. These guys went out of their way to cut two boards of sheetrock and install it along the wall so that they could properly install the baseboard. I told them to just leave me the baseboard and I would have someone else install it at a later date but they insisted on doing their job properly. The only minor flaw is that after relocating water pipes, they left some of the cut/dead pipes sitting in the wall/ceiling instead of removing them. That is minor though, easy to fix. I have met with dozens of technicians/contractors in the last two months, dealing with Joe Sampson was the easiest part of the entire renovation process. Definitely call him. You'll save yourself a headache and money.
