multi faceted great coordination of all subs. demolition involved approx 20 workers . cleanup was supervised. the siding subs came as promised as did the cleanup crews. all along Sammy was on top of all aspects of a fairly complicated build. when the sub didn't demonthe interior brick low enough Sam showed up with his son and took care of it himself only took them an hour but allowed my flooring guy to patch in my hardwood perfectly. the sub who did the demo damaged a Rai. sensor and the gutter in one area of the home. I was expecting a hassle instead there was Sam that came by and had it fixed without asking twice kudos to him and his people. they acted as you would expect a true proffesional would

AJ and his team did an outstanding job. We had new siding, a roof, new insulation, additional outside lighting, extending the front door overhang, and new color coordinated gutters, and leaders. It looks beautiful! We got what we paid for, and then-some. AJ is a man of his word. He does a personal final inspection to identify, and correct, any defects his trained eye sees before he signs off. He is a man of integrity, and pride. Thank you AJ!

I am extremely pleased with the new bathroom. I am even more pleased with the coordinated and professional manner in which it was handled. I dread, dread looking for contractors. Missed appointments, now shows, don't want to be bothered with smaller projects, etc... AJ is none of these. AJ and his crew are on time, every time. He does what he says and responds to all questions. His crew are the most professional, friendly and competent employees I have seen from any contracting company. Would recommend Babylon Bay Construction to anyone with home improvement needs.

Amazing! AJ and his crew were amazing. They started with us in August and were done in February. We were informed at all times where we were in the different phases, they showed up everyday and cleaned up after themselves. There were no surprises that we weren't informed of and AJ went to bat for us with the different sub-contractors. He was honest and reliable and we plan on having him and his crew back in a year to finish the 2nd phase. I highly recommend AJ and his crew!!!

I made the decision to hire Hampton Bay Construction because of its excellent ratings on Angie's List and having met AJ, its president. I've been using the List for years with good results. I'd already gotten estimates for new windows from two other sources before calling AJ. He came by, looked at my old windows and gave me excellent advice on what could and should be done. No, I did not need the most expensive windows available. Yes, he was a bit more expensive than the other contractors, but oh, what he provides in the way of service and quality. As it turned out the newly designed Andersen windows I chose were faulty. The grills I ordered did not fit. AJ was tireless in getting Andersen to resolve the problem. It took a while but I had full confidence that he would get the job done. He did. And his crew was just wonderful in protecting the work space ahead of time, in leaving the interior of the house clean and in hanging new shades perfectly. I am a fussy homeowner. Quality counts with me. I have an eye for problems. A.J does too. And he asks about needed decisions ahead of time and lets his customers decide. A storm door blew off my house in a storm (!) and I like the the one AJ installed much more than the old one because he had the wit to ask me what I wanted. I've now a list of jobs needing attention. I hope that AJ will be able to do them. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

They were great ! Very knowledgeable and helpful making our vision a reality. The crew was prompt and always left our home clean after their workday. We have used Babylon Bay before and feel like we found a company we can trust.

Amazing. I have been a home owner for a long time and have had lots of work done on our house. I have never been more impressed with a company. AJ is so professional , efficient, and responsive. He listened to what we wanted and he made it happen. He is honest and fair. He always calls back and came to the job every day. As for the team, simply amazing. They were the hardest working crew I have seen, the cleanest, most efficient, and nicest. They also listened to what we wanted and made it happen. They turned my 1970s living room with mirrored walls and stucco ceiling into a modern, elegant living room. My living room exceeded my expectations. I am looking forward to using this company and hopefully the same crew on future renovations. I highly, highly , recommended them!

Completely gutting and rebuilding a bathroom is not my idea of fun. It involves a lot of time and money. Most of all, it requires a competent contractor. We chose Hampton Bay Construction / Babylon Bay Construction over other contractors we interviewed because of AJ’s attention to detail. His walkthrough of the work he envisioned was very precise and included things other contractors usually glossed over or missed completely. His estimate was by far the easiest to read yet was very detailed. AJ gave me a sense that if issues arose, they’d be dealt with fairly. Finding good people isn’t easy. You often hear stories of broken promises, jobs that never get done, and extra unforeseen work that causes costs to spiral. That last one isn’t necessarily the fault of the contractor doing the new work. Some problems won’t reveal themselves until the demolition phase. You can never completely know what’s hidden underneath the floor and walls. When problems inevitably arise, you want to deal with people you can trust. There was damage to some of the studs caused by carpenter ants. A baseboard radiator from our heating system was routed under the old tub and had to be removed. The previous homeowner apparently paid to have insulation blown into the walls from the outside of the house, but whoever they hired either didn’t do the job or used such cheap insulation that it turned to dust. AJ and his team were able to fix all these issues without gouging me like other contractors are apt to do. I’m not a designer, nor am I an expert in bathroom furniture and fixtures. AJ helped point us in the right direction. He gave us a list of suppliers he recommends and provided suggestions whenever we needed them. AJ and his staff always showed up on time and put in the hours they promised. They were always available if we had a question or issue. We had the same group working on our project and all of them were top notch. I can recommend Hampton Bay Construction / Babylon Bay Construction wholeheartedly.

The owner has a great team that he manages very well. If there are ever any problems he always addresses them right away. This was the third time we've used them.

It went very well. They kept their promise as to what they were going to do. They cleaned up beauitfully every day. The person who was in charge of the project was also very knowledgeable and helped us with a lot of ideas throughout the process. I was very happy with the work.

I worked with AJ on a home remodel in the Hamptons. Throughout the project AJ and his crew were a pleasure to work with. AJ was always very present, reliable, and responsive. He was upfront and transparent regarding his services, charges, and business practices. He approached each phase of the project with the client's needs in mind and delivered a well executed, nicely finished product. AJ was always ready to go beyond the scope of his duties to spec out materials or fixtures, or find a specialist when we encountered some unexpected repairs that needed to be done. His foreman and crew were professional and experienced at their craft. It was also one of the cleanest renovations I have ever worked on-the home was completely free of debris every time I stopped by. Would definitely recommend.

Incredible experience. AJ and all his workers could not have been more professional. They were punctual, reliable and fairly priced.

The roof was done in one day. He met with us beforehand to discuss color and material options. From there, it was a seamless transition to scheduling and then completing the work. AJ always provides meticulous detail on what we are paying for and itemizing all of our invoice schedules. He has also been in touch with us throughout the siding and other projects, providing status updates and clear instructions on what needs to be done on our end to prepare. The deck demo was also seamless. AJ took care of securing the necessary permits and then finished the job in 2 days, again to perfection.

It went well. AJ was responsive, gave a detailed estimate and payment schedule prior to the start of work. The crew arrived at the expected times and were courteous and professional. I was informed every step of the way as to when electrical and plumbing would be done. I had some small finishing work done in the room as well (not explicitly itemized in statement of work) and was not "nickel and dimed" for every little thing. I am satisfied with the work. It was done within the time estimate stated and the payments were as stated. No surprises from a work or payment standpoint.

AJ and his crew are superb. AJ was always on time for our meetings whether for an estimate or walk through. His guys are always on time, clean up after themselves and the quality of the work is amazing. When I'm traipsing through the house with young kids or dogs they never get annoyed if we are in the way and they do everything to work around our schedules. In situations where I needed to work through insurance for something AJ took my calls just to get his opinion on certain things and for one project when he couldn't do it with in a certain time frame he took time out of his schedule to find me someone and vet their references for me. I can not recommend AJ and his company enough the quality is amazing and the prices are honest and fair.

AJ Shupack and his crew were very professional, courteous and responsive. They kept us up to date on any issues they encountered, provided us options and checked with us continually as to the progress made. AJ was on site every day to follow up with his crew and to address any questions we had. Their work is superb. His crew, Jovany and Eduardo and their dad, were great and very talented and hard working. Their only mission was to make us happy. AJ said that if there was anything we noticed needing attention after they finished, ahead of schedule as it were, they would be back to address it immediately. There has been no need for them other than a follow up by one of his sub contractors regarding a minor door issue. His sub was also very responsive (Advanced Door Solutions).
