Excellent no complaints

It went very well. I was convinced that my extra long couch would have to be cut up to remove it but Matt C and Fred were able to get it out without cutting it up. They were very careful not to damage my wood railings or painted walls. They arrived promptly and completed the job in twenty minutes. I was a bit surprised at the price since I had the impression from the website that it would be between $200 and $300 but I was told that because of the length of the couch that it would be more. All in all, I was very satisfied.

Great, they showed up on time and did everything we asked in a professional manner.

They were great! Our move was complicated and took longer than expected, but the College Hunks guys kept at it until everything was done and did so with professionalism and good humor. We had a very good experience and we'd definitely hire them again.

Went great. Respectful, prompt, courteous.

They arrived a few minutes early. They were clean courteous, knowledgeable and capable. We paid them to haul away some things we wanted to get rid of and to move some relatively heavy awkward objects from one room to another. They did the job quickly and carefully. I would hire them again for sure.

Two young men arrived at the stated time. They gave me an estimate to dismantle a wooden shed and remove it from the property. They were able to include the removal of some of the the stuff in the shed as part of their estimate. They explained what they were going to do and how long this would take. Once we said yes, they worked quickly to to get the job done. They were extremely polite and responsive to our needs. I would not hesitate to use them again.

They were truly excellent beyond expectations. They did 2 jobs for me. First they loaded a POD to be put in temporary storage--in Bay Ridge Brooklyn, this is no easy feat but they hoisted 50+ boxes and some furniture up onto the flatbed and then leaped up to load the POD all in 55 minutes! A few months later they moved another 50+ boxes and most of my furniture, drove 70 miles and offloaded it into my new home. Efficient, pleasant to work with, on time and not a thing was broken or damaged. Great guys.

They called to say they were going to be just 10 minutes late. I sooooo appreciated the call. Did a beautiful job at a great price, Much cheaper than renting a dumpster and doing it all ourselves !

They were fine. However, I was disappointed because they promised to donate some of the items and give me a receipt for the donated items, but they did not do that. The said items were my Father's and I wanted to make sure they were donated.

Adam and Steve were professional and easy to work with. They came on time and worked efficiently and carefully. All requests were answered. Absolutely no complaints.

The truck was several hours late. Then the truck was not big enough could not provide an additional truck went till late hours of the night because they had to bring back original truck. Not enough movers provided, not very experienced. Young guys from college, not movers. A nightmare. Broken furniture, I wish I didn't have to leave this negative feedback. Very upsetting.

The young men did an excellent job. There was a lot of heavy stuff that had to be carted up steep basement stairs. They arrived on time and they worked very efficiently. They were very courteous and professional.I would recommend them highly for any carting needs.

These young people were extremely professional. I received a telephone call prior to them coming out and they advised as to the exact time. The arrived promptly and performed the cleaning in a timely, honest and complete manner. This is the second time I have used their service and could not be more satisfied with the outcome. Use with confidence.

The service was OK, if a bit sloppy, but we were not informed in advance about all the items that they would not remove (old paint cans, solvents, etc. As much of our unwanted stuff included these items (and I had specified these as among items I wished to have hauled) the job was not as complete as I would have liked. In addition, the estimate which was approximate until the haulers arrived and surveyed the job, was finalized by these men when they looked at the job but raised toward the end of the job. The job they did do was OK but their professionalism in turms of honesty was not.

Satisfied, except for the fact that they don't provide a cost estimate in advance; you have to wait until they show up to find out what it will cost you to cart the stuff away. Their prices seemed to be equivalent to what other like services are charging (by volume).

Amazingly easy. Called the co arranged a pickup time for the next day. Movers Mike and Sean arrived early and called to say they were on the way. The piece was large, heavy and delicate. They wrapped with pads, Plastic wrapped it, and carried it down large flight of stairs. Strapped it in so wouldn't move in truck. Unloaded it at destination and unwrapped it. Arrived in same shape it started in. Very happy with co especially, happy with professionalism, promptness and courtesy of the movers, Mike and Sean. They were great to deal with. Would definitely use co again, especially if Mike and Sean do the moving.

The two workers Jonathan and Brian arrived well within the time period which was scheduled. They were courteous and very efficient. There were many heavy items to be removed which they handled very easily.They also did some sweeping up when they were finished loading the truck. I would definitely hire them again for future removals.

Mike P. and Adam from College Hunks Hauling Junk based in Huntington, NY, did a good job. Left the basement swept clean. Got it all done in a timely manner. Were polite and courteous. Even sent me a handwritten thank you card for using them. Highly recommended!

On 2 separate dates 6/30/13 and 7/6/13, 2 crews of 3 arrived @ our home. On 6/30/13,Eric, Mike , and Joe arrived on time to begin removal of junk from our garage. These 3 young men removed 3/4 of the materials in my garage in less than 1 hour and loaded it into the truck. It would have been completed in 1 day but there was no more room on the truck. They were very careful and respectful in doing their job.(very careful in backing in their truck and not damaging the tree by the driveway). Once finished,Eric scheduled another appointment to finish the garage and the basement. They asked questions if they were not sure to throw out certain items. On 7/6/13,, a 2nd crew of Zach, Mike and Jake, arrived to complete the cleanup. As with the 1st crew they were on time, and reviewed with what was needed to be completed. As with the 1st crew they were careful and respectful and asked questions. They finished in just under 2 hours Both crews worked as a solid team and made both days a "STRESS FREE EXPERIENCE" which is the motto of the company. It sure be noted that both days were part of the "HEAT WAVE" with high temperatures in the 90"s with high humidity. These men would be commended for their hard work and due diligence working under difficult conditions. I would recommend College Hunks to anyone. The service they provide is 'PRICELESS!!

My 2 college hunks were very polite and helpful. They arrived on time, with a courtesy call letting me know they were on their way. They came in, gave me an estimate and were very efficient at getting everything loaded into the truck. I am very pleased at how easy the whole process was, and will definitely be using them again in the future!

These guys were great! They arrived on time, the were extremely courteous and carried all my furniture on a very hot day with a wonderful attitude. The job took less time then expected and so they charged me less than what was originally quoted. I would recommend these guys to anyone who asks!

They were unbelievable! They called about a half hour before they came. Then they quickly and efficiently moved our furniture to several other rooms in the house. They then returned the following week and put the furniture back. They moved some very heavy pieces and were very careful and concerned about damaging the floor or walls. They were polite and extremely hard-working. They really took the stress out of a stressful situation. Will recommend them highly to everyone.

I would recommend them; they showed up the day after I called with a truck, provided an estimate and performed the job right then. The only two glitches were that a fair amount of dirt (from the attic cleanup) was left on the stairs, and they backed the truck into our gate, causing some minor damage. They corrected both problems promptly: they cleaned up the stairs properly as soon as I asked, and did their best to bend the gate back into alignment, but didn't have the correct tools. When they couldn't fix it completely, they returned after about a week to finish fixing it, including touching up the paint. They charge by the amount of stuff (1/8 of a truckload up to a full truckload) as opposed to an hourly rate.
