Description of Work: The service man cancelled the first scheduled appointment a few hours before the appointment for personal reasons. We rescheduled. He came on time. He told me that it would cost $40 more for the job because I had a "frost-proof" faucet. I agreed to this (without really understanding what he meant) but then he advised me that there would be damage the interior wall in order to access the pipes and I decided not to proceed. Just had the basement completely redone. Please refund my $99. Thank you.

Good day. I am trying to come up with a validating response for your "B" review. The "hose bibb" specified in the "Big Deal", offered through Angie's List, I thought, was fairly specific regarding which type of hose faucet the client was entitled to, to which there was a clause stating that if the job wasn't site specific, you could work out any additional charges that would occur, with your plumber. Unfortunately, you had a "FROST FREE" hose faucet, which didn't qualify under their plan. I believed the $40.00 upcharge, which covers the cost of a "vacuum breaker", frost free sillcock, was warranted, as you did also. My 2nd thought on this matter is, maybe an access panel and a seperate "shut off valve" could have been installed, in your newly installed sheet rock ceiling, and then have a small plastic "access panel" installed to allow us to work in the ceiling AND allow you a service point for future work. Maybe if this had been brought to your attention when we were there, you could have possibly had the job completed for which you desired. Hopefully we can do something else for you in the future. Description of Work: OWNER SHOWED UP (FORGOT HIS NAME). INSPECTED HEATER AND FOUND THAT IT HAD A DAMAGED IGNITOR. HE TRIED TO DO WHAT HE COULD BUT COULD NOT FIX IT. HE CHARGED ME NOTHING FOR THE SERVICE CALL WHICH WAS LAST MINUTE LATE AT NIGHT. GREAT GUY. GREAT SERVICE. HONEST!!!!!!!!

Description of Work: Replaced a hot water heater for me on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Showed up on time and took the time to install it right. A very professional installation. Price was great considering it was a Sunday on Memorial Day weekend.

Good afternoon. Thanks again for the opportunity for us to do the job. I'm glad you were satisfied. That, as you know, is my ultimate goal. It still amazes me why people think they are going to get hammered just because it's a holiday. Yes, there are overtime costs involved and yes, it sometimes encroaches on our personal time, however, if a contractor offers 24hr./ 7 days per week service, I don't think that they should complain if a call comes in on a holiday, and they should definately not take it out on the customer.
