It went great. He also tightened another faucet that had been leaking but didn't need to be replaced. No charge for that one and it's very nice to have faucets that don't leak.

Everything went very smoothly. Although they showed up 1 1/2 hours late (due to an emergency call which they apologized for), the service was performed courteously, efficiently and exactly as specified. The owner was very easy to work with and the technicians that came to our home were excellent. They took the time to explain the work performed to my wife and made sure everything worked to our specifications before they left. Would highly recommend.

The work went well. They did some work on our bathrooms. The price was reasonable, and they cleaned up after themselves.

Contacted Anthony from AFA for an estimate and had it scheduled for a week and a half in advance at 6pm on a Friday evening. The day of the estimate was February 7th 2013, aka Winter Storm Nemo. I obviously didn't expect Anthony to come so I got drunk in preparation for the storm, and the next thing I know Anthony is at my door to give me the estimate. Not only did he come in lower than every other company I have contacted, he seemed the most knowledgeable and very honest. I had to call him back a couple days later to confirm the price, since I was drunk I thought i was hearing things. A couple times throughout the process I gave Anthony a hard time (im very annoying). I changed my mind on some of the equipment (Anthony originally suggested that I purchase a PVG5 instead of a PVG6, and a 40 gallon heat-flo instead of a 60 gallon). I went with the higher capacity water heater just in case I expand my home in the future and add a bathroom, and also because my wife loves to take 2 hour showers. The higher output boiler was purchased due to the availability of the PVG5. The manufacturer originally had a problem with these and delayed shipping them out so they can do further testing, relating to the accuracy of the AFUE ratings. When they started to get shipped out, I was unable to secure one so I ended up taking the PVG6 so i can finish up the installation quicker. Throughout the entire process Anthony was very patient with me and answered all myquestions. His workers are also very knowledgeable and polite, it was a pleasure working with them. I installed my own sump pump a couple months before this was started, and i had a bunch of PVC pipe coupled and lead outside my house onto my driveway. His workers offered to help me out by offering to properly attach the pipe because it was leaking, since i didnt completely attach them to one another due to the fact it was only a temporary solution until I find a better spot to dump the water on my property. I also had AFA install a Natural Gas line for my Grill, and install protection posts for my Gas meter, since its in my driveway. I will absolutely use and refer Anthony and his team at AFA in the future, it was a pleasure dealing with them.

They showed up did the work and made sure it was done right, this was my 3rd time using them and they are now my GO TO plumbers!!!

There was some confusion with the appointment time but I was home and all went well. They changed the outside faucet in a very efficient and professional manner. The faucet part was recessed into the brick of the house making it more difficult to change. They had to chip away the brick in order to install the new faucet. After installing the new faucet they repaired the brick work and did an excellent job.

The first time they came to see about a sink backup in the basement. When they arrived the water had drained but the technician took the time to check every sink in the house - stayed over an hour and made recommendations for future prevention which have paid off. There has been no recurrance to date. Also, they came on a weekend to handle a major leakage problem which occured. We recenytly hired them for a large project involving testing our water for a central filtering system as well as several repairs and enhancements to a very old bathroom. Always professional, pleasant, honest and helpful.

When I first called I was inquiring about a tank less water heater. Anthony was the only plumber who explained that very expensive heater would not be a good idea for my very damp basement due to the electronic panel. He spent about 10 minutes on the phone discussing my needs and basement issues, (there are many) before he even came over. He arrived promptly at our appointment time. He understood my flooding problem and suggested a shorter water heater that he could raise off the floor. I also needed a sump pump installed for my french drain. His price was $500.00 less than the other two plumbers I called. We scheduled the installation. Today was the day. Anthony was not here for the job but his three employees showed up at 9:00 on the dot as scheduled. By 11:15 they were finished with the installation of both the hot water heater and the sump pump. They even installed some sort of valve in the french drain pipe to stop the water from backing up thereby burning out the pump, which is what they surmised happened originally. No extra charge for this! Wonderful experience! I would definitely recommend AFA and will use them again whenever I need a plumber !

Anthony and his team are true professionals. My step-mother was quoted over $1,500 to do this job by other companies and Anthony came in at $350 to do the same work. His team were courteous, on-time and professional. I could not be more pleased with the work they accomplished. It is nice to see there are still true professionals out there. The fixtures are so beautiful and work so efficiently that I feel like I have a new bathroom. It looks like I had the whole bathroom done, when all it took were a few renovations. The price given above includes everything from parts to labor for both the entire shower and sink. I was satisfied that his labor costs were in keeping with many others I had found and better than many as well.

My husband and I have had this ongoing leak from our jacuzzi for a while now. Whenever our son took a bath in the second floor jacuzzi, water spots would appear on our kitchen ceiling on the first floor below. One plumber who came to the house told us if the problem was in the piping in the walls, he would have to break through the tile, which meant it could be very costly. It was a big job, but that way we would be sure there would be no leak. Thank goodness Anthony spent time investigating and probed a bit deeper. He saved us a lot of money. He tested the jacuzzi with water a couple of times over a period of three days. We had to watch and report back to him what we saw. He wound up repairing the overflow gasket inside the tub, and siliconing the pipe, and that was it. NO LEAK...FINALLY!!!! We first called him last Wednesday, he came at 7 PM that night after his last job of the day was finished and, within a week, after a couple of visits, he fixed it completely from inside the tub. No mess. We were impressed with Anthony's expertise and are very happy with his work. We highly recommend Anthony from AFA Plumbing and Heating and will use him again in a heartbeat.
