James and his crew did an excellent job. James was involved throughout the entire job from start to finish. His detailed estimates and spreadsheet of materials guided us through the entire process. He performed all work as promised: on time, on budget, reasonable prices, with excellent results. He and his crew performed all work with surprisingly limited noise (even during demolition) and rarely ever had to interrupt with questions. All steps were explained throughout the process. They cleaned up after work was performed. Highly recommend!

My dealings with Abbruzzi Tile were excelllent . The people are extremely professional and every aspect of the renovation went exactly as the owner told me it would . I am in awe of my new living room it exceeds all expectations. They might be a little more but I would do it again . They were excellent, They were very professional

I contacted James in April 2013 for a bathroom remodel. He gave a quote that was good and we agreed to use his services. I made it very clear that we needed it done in July or August – that was why we made sure to lock down the deal in advance. This was for two reasons – I am teacher, so I can stay home in the summer while the work is being done, and I am pregnant, due in the early Fall. He agreed to this time frame. After giving different start dates and sending many emails back and forth, on July 16 James sent me an email saying that I should find a new contractor because he couldn’t do the job “on my terms”, even though he had agreed to the timeframe months earlier. I was very upset because I had to scramble to find a new contractor in time for the baby. Summer is busy time for contractors, so I had to get many estimates and this took time. Luckily I found a contractor that is currently completing my bathroom and doing a great job. I never had work done by Abbruzzi Tile so I can’t comment on the quality. However, I feel customer service is part of the deal, and in this area I must give a big F. It was clear that he had a bigger, better paying job Out East that continued to push him back, and thus left us out of the picture. I understand if he had to push us back a few weeks, but to tell me that he couldn’t do it at all within a two month period that we had agreed upon 3 months earlier is not ok with me and is not good business. I was left nearly 8 months pregnant with no bathroom. I would NOT recommend dealing with this contractor. Our new contractor gave us one start date, actually started on that date, and was a few hundred dollars less.

The interaction was okay. They were good and efficient. They were a little expensive. It was like double the amount that somebody else had. I don't know if the job would have been as good. I had a plywood floor and you shouldn't really put tile on plywood because it expands and contracts. They said they would have to use a membrane before and the other company didn't say anything so that would have been an issue with it cracking. They did the right thing by telling me upfront what I needed to do. They knew what they were doing and they were very good. I probably wouldn't use them again because they were too expensive for me. If you want quality work, they would be good.
