I needed to replace my 33 year old asphalt shingle roof? Hudson Valley Home Improvements were the only contractor that actually went onto the roof during the estimate process. The job was delayed by weather but that is out of the control of the contractors. The crew arrived on the Friday after Thanksgiving, unloaded, placed see thru tarps to protect the the windows and siding as well as collect the debris, and started removing the roof quickly and efficiently. Once the crew started they did not stop until the job was done. One crew member remained on the ground controlling the debris from the roof. In less time than I thought the roof was completed and the crew picked up all of the remaining debris. Kareem stopped by to personally explain that the garbage dump was closed but they would return on Monday to remove the debris and that I would not be expected to pay the invoice until the debris was collected. The rain delayed the debris removal but Jason arrived on Tuesday with his crew and removed all the debris. I was thoroughly impressed with the work effort and skill of the crew, the concern of the owners to make sure we were well informed, and of course my new roof.

Kareem provided excellent customer service and follow up on our account. These guys are truly roofers! Came prepared with estimate including all materials and were able to do a tear off and new roof in one day. Cleaned up very well after the job and the price was very fair. I would definitely recommend them to anyone getting a roof done in the Hudson Valley.

I'm happy with the end result of the shingle repair they did for me.

The crew is very neat in cleanups. The price for the roof was the price paid for the visible part. As you know until you rip off the shingles you cannot know about the boards under it. Being over 90 years old I saw cracked and some bad wood. I did have to put on 1/2 inch plywood over the roof. That (naturally) is extra but I saw the condition and to be a good roof it had to be done. They were totally true to the part of the price that could be seen.It looks great now. All the people involved were very courteous

They called to confirm their original estimate and the final bill was also identical (so they are really good at estimating), they were friendly, courteous and their craftsmanship was outstanding. I highly recommend them!!

I lost my time and my husband lost his time waiting for them to come. We could have tried other people who would have already finished the job but we gave him a chance and he blew it.

HVHI did a great job on my carriage house roof. Cleanup was thorough. I wont know how good the repair on my house roof was until the next big rain! But I am confident that if I do still have leaking, Hakeem and Jason will make it right! My only complaint is that communication was spotty, prior to actual job

Arrived for estimate on time. Came in with a great price. Completed emergency tare off of old roof, install complete roof sheathing and roof in December. Done in 2 days and did a great job. Cleaned up leaving property as they found it. As Venture Management Properties owner I am happy to have them for my contracting needs.
