Description of Work: They came out in the rain and took down and removed 2 small sized trees as well as removing old tree trunks from another tree. I paid for 2 hours worth of work but they were done in less than an hour. But there were 4 guys and the owner explained that that is equivalent to 2 guys for 2 hours. That was fine with me because they were great!

Description of Work: (My apologies...Not sure of exact year.) Lacking in decent tree-cutting workers, the owner of the company had trouble getting someone to do the job. He first came with someone who was unreliable (someone named DANNY). He finally hired someone who did a decent job on the trees, but my opinion of the owner soured, particularly after he verbally promised to cut my tree down in small, manageable chunks for me to lift for firewood (I have arthritis) and left without doing so. When I called him a few times, he never returned my calls. I was finally able to reach him and asked him when was he coming back to finish the job. He replied, "Well, you don't need firewood now, do you? (It was Nov.) I'll come back when it's winter. He never came that winter. A year later, I tried again, to which he said, I'm not doing it." Claims he never promised it and asked "It's not in the contract." That may be true but he VERBALLY promised me this service. In fact, I thought it was included because he asked if I wanted the tree parts hauled away and I said no, I was going to use it for firewood myself and asked him if he would cut it in "manageable" pieces. I explained my arthritis. Now why would he verbally promise before that he would come another time, during winter, if he never intended to do this? His saying it's "not in the contract" in the final phone conversation was just his way of telling me he was not coming back at all. I would NEVER recommend this man to anyone! The lack of responsiveness, the constant waiting for him to do the job and his surly attitude where he doesn't follow-up on his promises tells me he does not care about his customers. He's also not the one to actually go up into the trees to cut it and knows very little about proper pruning; he has to rely on someone else's expertise. Needless to say, I am "EXTREME"-LY disappointed.
