Went well. Workers, Edwin and Robert, went about their business all day with a brief lunch break. Work entailed circuit work in an attic that has Air Conditioning Flexible duct work throughout, as well as a number of storage bins and snaking new wiring through an already existent pipe. Job site was left clean and the only thing I had to remedy was installing new drywall around the new panel box, which was no big thing as supplies were on hand..

Working with Valentine Electric has been a great experience. From scheduling the estimate to the final cleaning -everything was done in a very professional and high quality way. We could not have been happier and would highly recommend Paul and his team to everyone.

We called Valentine Electric based on their reviews from Angie's List. We needed a electrical problem looked at in out kitchen and a new line run for an electric kiln. I called and set up an appointment for an estimate and evaluation of our electrical system and I was given a 2 hour window (between 10 and 12) the next Friday. When the appointment date came no one showed up. I waited until 12:30 and gave the office a call. They said that the electrician that was to come to our house that day called in sick and we were never assigned to another electrician. They apologized and planned to send someone over right away. When they arrived they were obviously had little experience and didn't know what they were looking at or doing. He took pictures of the breaker box (but didn't actually open it up to look at where the wires were going into) and measured the area were the new outlet would go. He took pictures of the main electric box outside and made a uneducated guess as to why the electric in my kitchen was always going on and off. He said that I would get and estimate in my email a few days later. I never got one.

They said they'd be here between 7:30 and 7:45 and they were on time. I thought the pricing was very reasonable. I showed them what needed to be done and he decided what to do first and then just kept going. They did a great job.

The electrician called to let me know he was running about 20 minutes late. This was aready a good sign; excellent customer service. The electrician removed the panel made the fix, and then suggested I take pictures so I can show the buyer. He was fast, effecient and knowledgeable. The whole job took less than an hour; he even swept up the floor in the area where he worked when he was done.

Perfect. Great job all around.

First of all, i live in pre war building which is usually difficult to work with because of the the concrete materials in the walls and the structure of the building. Initially, I spoke with Paul Valentine, he was very responsive, I am assuming he is the owner, He sent two of his men to the job. . Burt and Robert came to my home, there were prepared, polite and professional. They are extremely skilled. With the walls and wiring in a pre-war building this job was not as simple as it sounds. To top it off, I was not going to be there to see the project through because I had to work, so I had a friend stay to monitor the entire operation, They executed the job and did everything I requested to perfection. They took great care in not messing up my apartment while working, they were extremely neat. They did an excellent job installing the breaker box, new ceiling fan and outlet, not only will I hire these men again but I definitely recommend this company. I will say, I did think it was a bit pricey,but it was worth the money because the job was done right. so I recommend Valentine Electric without a doubt, I feel like I can trust them and I will be calling them for any other electrical repairs or renovations that I have in the future.

Came just on time like they said. went right to work and installation was successful.price was reasonable

unnecessarily. I walked through the house and found a reset button. I pushed it and then the lights went back on in the bathroom. Thank you so much Paul for advising me without paying a visit. i really appreciate it. I know your time is valued.The receptionist spoke to the owner, Paul and he suggested to check all the outlets to see if any of them had a reset button. She also said he did not believe in coming out for matters such as this and taking people's money

I've never had a good experience with an electrician. So, when the utility company informed me that I needed to contact an electrician to reconnect the power to my house from a downed telephone pole I was quite upset. However, I called these guys up and they were excellent. Showed up right away for an emergency, were very professional and polite, did the work well and arranged everything I needed. I would hire them again in a heart beat and recommend them to everyone. I couldn't be happier with their service.

Paul Valentine's electricians, Edwin and his coworker, showed up on time and were incredibly helpful, professional and thorough.

They were very prompt. I walked them through the house and showed them the things that I had to do. They were great about fixing the things that I needed fixed. I would definitely use them again.

WIll never use another electrician. Showed up on time for estimate appointment. Showed up on time for 2-day project. When an unexpected complication arose on Day One running a wire in the attic, showed up on Day Two with 6 men to make sure the job was finished on time. Came back three weeks later when overhead light fixtures arrived. Everything works. Price was fair. Don't call anyone else.

Arrived on time. Clean work. all signs they were there were cleaned. Work done correctly. Work done quickly. Explained what they will do. Open for questions. Polite. Matched estimate exactly. No surprises. Had to order parts for me. Office was prompt in returning calls and scheduling work. Would recommend and would use again. Much of price was due to part for tub. Not related to contractor.

He was diligent and worked until he was able to correct the issue with the electricity. They do a good job of giving you a short window for their arrival and they stay to it. If they aren't able to keep to the given window, they will give you a call to let you know why they aren't there yet. They have very realistic pricing. I would highly recommend them.

The light is on a high ceiling so the employee came in to check the height for the ladder. Both workers put on plastic slip on for there boots (big plus for me-didn't have to ask them to do it). Ask about the height for 2nd hanging lamp. Everything done without problems 15 mins.

I called Valentine Electric to get an estimate for a standby generator, for safety wiring of our basement, and a backyard light array. John, one of the employees there, performed excellent work and supplied an estimate for the standby generator right away. He referred the electrical work to Paul the owner; Paul would later coordinate a visit with me on October 31 to review the scope of work for the wiring/lights. I received an estimate for the generator in a few days, and the electrical work a couple of days ago. From the meticulous detail in the estimate and the subsequent communications with Emily, one of the employees at Valentine Electric, my wife and I decided to move forward with the planned electrical projects. The price was reasonable and the employees personable.

The job was well done and the price was fair. The company is honest and professional. I highly recommend this company.

Everything went very well - from the estimate, proposal to the actual installation of the fan. The electrician who did the work even took the time to show me how to use the remote control. I have also obtained a proposal from them to install a whole house generator and have found them to be extremely helpful,patient and responsive. I have accepted the proposal

The inspection for purchasing Mom's new condo showed that there had been some water damage to the circuit breaker box. The breaker box was in the interior of the condo (not along an exterior wall) and showed slight damage, as if water from the condo upstairs had leaked onto the box. We contacted Valentine Electric for advice. Mr. Valentine advised us that it would be impossible to know how much damage had been done to the actual breakers, and recommended that all breakers be replaced. We got an estimate for replacing all breakers as well as for a few minor jobs around the condo. We ended up scheduling only the breaker replacement (I thought the prices for the more minor jobs were high.) On the appointed day, two workers switched out the breakers more quickly than I would have thought possible - I think it was less than one hour. Since I don't even like to open the cover of the box, I was amazed by their work. They left the site very clean.

The two man team arrived on time and were very nice and knowledgeable about the work. They got down to business right away and got everything taken care of in a relatively timely manner. Also talking with the owner was a pleasure as well and he was very responsive to any calls or questions. I would use them in the future for larger jobs.

Incredibly well. Both Mr. Valentine and service technician (John) were a joy to work with. Their service was personable and detail oriented.

The men called me to say they were going to be a little delayed since they were on another job, but they then arrived exactly as they said they would. Then they started to look and check the wiring to find where the fault was located. It took awhile but in the process of elimination (and I guess past experience), the Head electrician located where the problem was (loose and partly burned Al wiring in the panel box) and promptly repaired it. He also fixed up the Panel Box which was in sloppy condition (probably from when the house was built). Since I have Al wiring with pigtails at the connections, the Electrician and his partner fixed and repaired correctly all the Switches and Light connections that they had taken apart to locate the fault. The job was done by experts and I will have them again in the near future to check and repair the Pigtail connections in the rest of my house. Several years ago, the same company installed a whole house natural gas generator in a totally satisfying manner (for me).; THIS IS AN EXCELLENT COMPANY AND i WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE.

Mr Valentine came in and went through the entire house with me. He answered my questions, and provided the reason for why the work was needed or alternatively, why it was not needed. As we walked through the house he pointed out items that I had overlooked. It seemed to me that his recommendations were designed to provide me with the best satisfaction while insuring that all work met standards. His estimate was timely and spelled out exactly what the scope of the work entailed. The prices were laid out so that I was able to get a good approximation for the final cost. ( I said it was an old house and some of the work quoted was a guesstimate.) The day of the work two electricians showed up. The foreman, Nick , laid out the work, consulting with me, if necessary, and then proceeded through the list. Again, because it's an old house, he explained to me, and to his office, that he would have to return. He said he would have to check with his office and get back to me. He called me the next day and we set up a second day, which went off without a hitch. I am very satisfied with the work and when I need further electrical work I will automatically call Valentine Electric.

Mr. Valentine and his assistant were excellent! They explained the problem in detail and repaired it in a timely fashion.
