They were also able to return later the same day once I got some additional parts (they recommended the best parts to purchase). In addition they advised on how best to handle other projects in the most cost effective way. I found the crew extremely professional and helpful. They extended themselves to ensure the job was completed in one day. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others. Thanks for the Angie's list discount!

Description of Work: We called Valentine (we had used them before)to see whether a ceiling fan that had been wired together with overhead lights could be made to operate independently of the overhead light. We had high hopes that they could do this -- possibly with a remote which would control the ceiling fan. I believe the fellow gave it his all and was sincere when he concluded that the job could not be done with a remote and that a real excavation of the wall would be needed. We decided we didn't want to go for this (a $500 job) and we are living with the crazy wiring. We didn't get what we wanted this time around but I continue to trust and like Valentine. The guys they send are always pleasant; they people on the phone are nice, and they just generally seem professional

Description of Work: They installed the electric motors for our Industrial garage doors (computerized controls, wiring and installing sensors and motors. they also upgraded our panel box in the gym and added a 220 line from the Utility pole. |there were many challenges with the computerized doors (do to lack of instructions from the manufacturerr)but the persisted and did an excellent job.

Description of Work: We were impressed by his sales pitch and his price was ball park. He was recommended by friends as well as your list. However, we chose to go with another company because he contracted out for part of the service. We were getting a generator, and he only handled the purchase of the machine and the electrical part of the installation. He contracted out for the gas connection. We chose to go with a company that took full responsibility for all aspects of the installation and upkeep.
