I requested an estimate via Angie's List on April 12th, 2018 and never received a response.

Excellent, friendly service! The guys were very efficient and had everything out of there quickly!

They were perfect. They were no problems with them. They said when they are going to come and did the job quickly and were courteous.

Came early after calling to see if ok. Got the tv's out of basement without any problems. The guys were friendly and professional.

I set the initial appointment via their website. Two days prior to the appointment, I realized I wasn't going to be able to disconnect the gas from the stove on my own, and needed extra time. As I was about to call to reschedule the next day, they called me to confirm the appointment. The person I spoke to was very pleasant, helpful, and understanding, and I requested the appointment for the same time a week later. He said he would check to make sure that time worked, and would be in touch if they had to work out another time with me. The next week, I received another call to confirm the appointment, from what I think was the same person. He asked for some of the details on what I was having removed, and said they would be there around 8:15-8:30, or so. The day of removal, I got a courtesy notification call about 15-20 minutes ahead of their arrival. I pointed out what I needed removed, and they gave me an estimate on the spot, and notified me that each tire would be an additional $5 to remove. The estimate they gave ended up being dead-on. From the time they got there until they had everything out, took my payment (I paid via credit card), and left, only around 15-20 minutes had passed. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable company, with great customer service that does exactly what it says it's going to do, and does so punctually. My experience with 1-800-Got-Junk? was definitely as pleasurable as you're likely to find in the unpleasant business of trash removal.

I was extremely impressed with the quick response time and courteousness of the men who came to do the work. They were very professional and hard working, and even took time to rake up and haul away the leaves that had collected under the hot tub. The whole job was done swiftly and to my complete satisfaction. I highly recommend them.

Very reliable company.

We called them and they arrived the next dat at 10 am. They removed everything we wanted removed. They even swept up after. They worked very hard and took time to put as much into their truck as they could.

We were downsizing from a 3000 sq ft house to a 1500 sq ft apartment, closing on the sale of our house and moving to Chicago. I had previously arranged with Habitat for Humanity Buffalo and the Salvation Army to take the stuff that I had assembled in the garage from the basement and second floor of the house. The trouble began when Habitat arrived at 2 PM on 7/3 with their truck 1/2 full. They refused to take the things they had promised by phone to take. Salvation Army was scheduled to take some stuff on 7/5 but I could see even more trouble coming. I called 1-800 Got Junk on 7/3 and explained how everything had to be out on 7/6 because we were closing on the house. The person at the 800# was most helpful. The local people were fully booked for 7/5 and 7/6 but he put me on a stand-by list and stated that the local people would call me by 11 AM. In fact they called and came by 11:30 and filled a truck. They promised to come back the next day for about a quarter truck full which they did. They were prompt and professional and worked hard. The place was clean and ready for the real estate closing. They saved the day.

I called the 1-800 number on Friday and it was explained that the prices go by how much of the truck your stuff takes up. The lady on the phone quoted me $116 for 1/16th of the truck; $157 for 1/8th of the truck. I made the appointment for the following day. When the young men arrived, they showed me a price list that was very different from what I was told on the phone. Their price for 1/16th of the truck was over $130. They said that based on what they saw, the price wouldn't be more than $220 and could be as low as $187. Since they were already there, I said to go ahead and do the job. Imagine my surprise when the final bill was close to $260! I had no choice but to pay it at that time, but I'm not happy. Had I known it was going to be so expensive to take a mattress, box spring, flower pots, brooms and car brushes to the trash, I'd have hired a local guy with a pickup and given him $100. The way they do their pricing isn't predictable, and doesn't seem fair. The workers could throw your stuff into the truck any old way, tell you it took up half the truck, and charge you any amount. You have no idea what the final cost will be because they and quot;can'tand quot; give you an estimate. Suffice it to say I won't be using this service again.

I had heard that Got Junk was a good service, so checked on them on Angie's List this morning. I booked an appointment on line, again, this morning and by noon all of the junk was gone. The previous owner and tenants had left some impossibly heavy items and Got Junk representative had no complaint at all that I had saved the worst for them. The representative quoted me 1/6 of a truck, showing me pre-determined price list. So I was more than confident that I was being treated fairly.

It was easy to make an appointment on the website. They called the day before to verify the appointment and called 30 minutes prior to arrival. They arrived on time, were very professional and easy to deal with. They worked diligently and accomodated changes in what I wanted hauled away with no complaints. I have recommended them to friends already. I did find that I had thrown out something I should have kept. The central number tried to retrieve it for me, but the truck had already gone to the dump. Very courteous and professional throughout.

They send different people every time. They have nice to work with internet scheduling. They come on time. They will pick up your junk no matter where it is located in your house. They may not be good at sweeping up the little stuff, but they will get rid of all of the big items. I have used them a couple of times.

We have used them in Philadelphia. They were very prompt. We called them and they came out and gave a price. They came back later and picked it up. So it was fast. I would recommend them.
