We replied to a mailer for treatment of ants. The offer was to get a discount for signing up early. We went with the Bug Killer last year when we found ants in the house. The employee came on the scheduled day and explained some special instructions for once the pesticides were applied, mainly to keep the kids inside after the first rain post-treatment.

We have used them for the last 11 years. They are really good.

It went like clockwork, as usual. Doug arrived on time, asked if there were any edible plants around the house, just in case. Once I had verified no (you have to cover all edible plants before he sprays), he began spraying, and also laid down the ant granules. He then asked me if I had had any anthills in the lawn (this was a huge problem when I first moved in see last part of this section). I replied no, and he told me to call if I saw any, and he would come back and retreat as needed. He then proceeded over to the barn, sprayed the eveas of that and the woodshed, and then came back to the house. He gave us the invoice, we gave him a check, and then we asked him some bug-related questions, which he answered. He reminded us to call if we had any hornets this year, or found any anthills, and we said we would. On a personal note, as a testimony, I have used the Bug Killer for years, both when I lived in Binghamton and now for 10 years in the country. They have greatly decreased the wasps that infested my new house when I moved in, and protected us from carpenter ants as well. There was a huge 5ft wide anthill in the backyard that is gone now, thanks to them. They have also helped us with emergency calls, when hornets built a nest under our deck and also a different year in a hollow log. I can't give them a better recommendation and would never use anyone else for my bug control needs. Yes, they do cost money to use, but they guarantee the problem is gone and they mean that, retreating as needed at no cost. On an average summer, we usually have the Bug Killer out at least one more time for discovered anthills in the lawn. He also comes back once during the summer to retreat for wasps, as needed.

The quality of the job was good because he got rid of the bugs. I think most exterminators are odd. I would use him again if I needed the service.

They came when they said they would and they did a good job. I haven't had any problems. I needed them to come back once and they came back and took care of the problem. They knew what they were doing. The price was adequate but I had no idea. I would absolutely use them again.

It’s been excellent. They are the only exterminator I have ever used. I probably picked them because of the name - Bug Killer. They call me. They usually send a card in the mail to say it’s time for my annual treatment and whether I want them to come. They ask me to check it and mail them back. They would tell me that they would call before they actually come and they do. I would use their services again in the future.

He said he was a green chemical user but when he came to my house it was not a green chemical. We just hired him to come out for bed bugs but when he came out he said that I told him it was for bed bugs and fleas. What they came here with was three aerosol precor 2000 cans which is only for fleas. He was trying to tell me that this was to treat both but according to the label it only says it treats fleas. They ended up using all three cans and left the cans at my mother's house. They never dismantled the bed, took the dressers out, or spray behind other furniture. It also says on his profile that he honors a senior discount and he never did this for my mother who is 84. The bed bugs are still alive and well.

They are very good and punctual! I think this is a reliable, competent company.

After receiving a sting to my eye, I decided it was time to get rid of the wasps who had been flying in and out of our eaves. The Bug Killer came out quickly, gave me an estimate, shimmied up 30 feet in his gear, and took care of our little friends in under 20 minutes. Several weeks have gone by, and not a single wasp has dared show up again. I'd highly recommend The Bug Killer; he was quick, professional, and effective.

He was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, prompt, and really took the time to explain why the ants were there and took measures to protect me and our dog. I couldn't believe he was able to come out the same day. I was extremely pleased with the service.

Bug Killer identified the problem, isolated it, proposed a solution, provided an estimate and effectively took care of the issue. Bugs are gone. Two visits took care of the entire problem. In addition, I sought their advice on a second insect issue, and they coached me on how to handle that one on my own....no charge. Pleasant, effective, responsive.

The exterminator came on time. After seeing the type of ants , the areas in and outside the house was sprayed. The type of spray was explained and what I could expect in the next week.
