I just closed on my house at the end of October and it needed chimney sealing. Other contractors promised to take the job on and then did not deliver. One contractor even told me it didn't need work without even going up on the roof. This company was also busy but came out and got the job done within a week or so of my call. The price was also most reasonable. You are my roofers for life Mike Peranich. Thank you for fitting me in. I was so worried that the roof was going to leak and cause damage this winter. Excellent! Roofing crew was excellent. They were on time all 3 days. Started working immediately, all were very polite and professional. Mike Peranich and Tom Shelp were a real pleasure to work with. Everything was very neat and clean when they left. Would definitely recommend.

This company is one of the very best in the area. I have utilized their services multiple times, and they are my "go to" contractor for jobs that I cannot do myself. Great owners and office staff. Very responsive. Fairly priced. They are one of the few contractors locally who present you with their insurance certificates as part of their quote...you don't have to ask them for that information. Everything they do is by the book...very clear statements of work and contracts. These people know what they are doing.

Excellent work. They did the job in one day. This was the same company we used 25 years ago.

They are always friendly, even when I bother them to check if everything is OK when a possible problem causes concern. They usually do not bill me even for old ,10 year old jobs. Being partially disabled I need extra help and they do a complete gutter clean out as nearby trees cause problems. The replaced the gutters with larger one at no cost after 10 years as the old ones could not handle torrential rains. They are scheduled again to do this and take care of other chores.Tom usually get stuck with me.He is is neat polite, honest.

Took 2 weeks to get estimate. When they came to estimate the job, they never came to the door, never went up on the roof or checked the rafters. Estimate was general, no breakdown of materials and labor. Office staff was extremely rude when we questioned the cost. I was told to return the signed contract within 3 days or the price would be higher when the job was done. Estimate was twice the actual cost of the completed job.

They are excellent. We have used them on commercial property and personal property and they took care of everything.

Great, kept us informed of every step of construction. Sub contractors used to lay the cement were very professional, and even put our names in the corner block with the date, beautifully done. The room turned out great, well worth every penny, cleaned up everything, very professional.

We built a sizable 2-story addition on our small 2 BR ranch 15 years ago and had another contractor do the siding and roofing (what a hack!). Within months there were problems which we continued to address ourselves b/c that contractor didn't respond or made excuses not to come back: i.e. metal not tacked around the windows, siding not nail on properly and wrap missing in some sections under the siding we came to find out. Pernich & Shelp were EXCELLENT! Tom worked tirelessly with us to find the right siding to match our needs and price point. The house looks great. The crew was terrific, punctual and efficient. There was great communication between Tom, the crew and us about time lines, material delivery, schedules, etc. These guys worked in the crappiest wet and cold weather. They were professional ( no cigarette butts, left over lunches or coffee cups in the yard, no blaring music or inappropriate language). It was very important to us to have a siding that was quality but not priced out of this world. We found a solid cedar shake & board & batten look that is fantastic. I cannot say enough about Tom's help, suggestion and follow-up. They came back and did a final sweep of the yard for nails, metal clippings, etc. Holy cow!! What a difference from the first jerk and his merry band of misfits. I'm still finding their roofing nails in my garden. I would call Pernich & Shelp again in a heartbeat.

This company came in with a dumpster and large tarps to protect the rest of my home and property as they worked. Every single scrap of waste went into that dumpster as they worked, leaving me with absutely no clean up afterwards at all. There were several men (5, I think) all working together to get the job done as quickly and perfectly as possible. Ladders went up and down without any fuss, and access to my doorway was never blocked. I had only to provide an electrical outlet for them to use as they worked. I was astounded as I watched them work together, knowing what each person's job was, and doing it well. When the work wS done, I spoke to the owner of the company - he was right here - and he pointed out things they did. Extras they did for me were to seal gutters that were leaking at the seams, and they adjusted them so that they would drain more efficiently. (Something I had no clue was causing a problem!) Very professional. Very efficient. Very thorough. I will never use any other company when I need any roofing or eaves help again! Fantastic!

A Very pleased with work done. They were quick to come out to scope out job, and had a detailed proposal withing a week or so. unt of water to come though roof and discolored a smsll patch in ceiling which they repainted immediatelyBecause they are a sought after company they let me know it would be 2-3 months before they could do the roof work and that weather would be a factor in scheduling as rain delays them which it did that summer.Once they started they had a large group who worked steadily and competently to get it done. they also kept the work site clean and organized within reason for the nature of work involved tearing old shingles off which can make a mess. Had to do some carpentry work on siding and fixing some poor slopes for drainage from snow buildup whcih they took time doing it right to correct past problems for future. They assigned a large work force to do the work and kept at it for 3-4 days starting early and working late to get it done. had a heavy rain storm come though during job which allowed a minor amount of water to come though the roof in spite of tarps placed over roof which created a small discolored patch in kitchen ceiling. They repainted this immediately the next day after it dried out. I would recommend this company to others based on reasonable price for work and excellent quality of workmanship

Very nice job, and they were very willing to work with a picky customer's special requests, including a design modification recommendation from a competitor. Work was done very professionally.

The quality of work was excellent. The workers polite and cleaned up after themselves. When we had questions they were promptly answered. When issues discovered, they were handled efficiently and without huge hits to the budget. We no longer own this house, however we have contracted with this group to do work on another house that will be occuring in June of 2014

It was a great experience after having two bad ones on the same project. They fit our project in early when another job finished quicker than anticipated. The men were professional, coutesy and cleaned up after themselves. Would definitely use them again!

After reviewing Angie's List reviews, chose Peranich and Shelp Construction Company. Tom one of the two owners came out to do the new roof estimate within one day of my initial phone call. Unlike other estimators (I was a comparison shopper) Tom was the only one who insisted upon going up INTO the attic!!! I told all estimators my concern about structural damage, but only Tom went INTO the attic to check this out - making for a much more complete - no surprises - final price estimate. As soon as the weather broke, Mike (the other owner) showed up on-time with the construction crew. The wood DID need replacing after all and Mike used the new Zip System materials - greatly enhancing the weather, energy protection for the entire house. Brand new state-of-the-art roof ridge venting was installed, all new vents (i.e. bathroom exhaust fans), chimney bricks/flashing corrected and updated to today's industry standards and, by special request, a piece of aluminum siding edge molding had come off the house. This is a cape cod house on a steep slope, making reaching the missing siding very difficult/dangerous. I asked Mike if he could somehow replace the missing siding - happily he replied, he had already seen that and was going to take care of it anyway ;) The Zip system, shingles and all materials are top-of-the-line. I was surprised at the size of the construction team. They descended like a military squad and went straight to work from a little after 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. the first day - similarly the second day to complete the job. Clean up was meticulous, like they had never been here. No damage to extensive landscaping. Sharon the secretary was in daily, constant e-mail/phone contact with me as we worked out schedules, materials options, ordering, contract questions, etc. On THIS end of the huge decision as to WHO to hire, what materials to go with and could I TRUST this company - I could NOT be more pleased. I did have less expensive estimates but A) they did NOT go into my attic to address concerns that were ultimately REAL and B) could not, in detail, explain WHO would do the actual work. Owner #1 Tom, shows up to do the, detailed, estimate Owner #2 Mike, STAYS with the crew, ALL DAY, working along side them (he said for 34 years), ALL DAY! Mike's been roofing since he was 17 years old. Could I say anymore? Cheapest? NO Did I get what I paid for? Way WAY MORE - the quality-of-materials, the qualify-of-workmanship, well the roof is to-die-for great looking (they may use my before and after photos on their website) and the Pand S "Team," the very best! If you want to NEVER have to worry about your roof again - HIRE THEM!

They did very well with everything. I had wanted the additional layer of insulation and they said they could do it while everything was exposed.They gave me a quote and I jumped at it. They added additional supports to any rafters that where suspect. They have been doing things for me for maybe five years, such as eves, doen spouts. They have always shown up for anything big or small that I wanted. Their office staff are very courteous and helpful.I have had estimates for other work that I may have done in the future.

Arrived on time,finished the roof on the same day,very professional.Returned the nekt day for gutters and downspouts,good clean-up.

They arrived on time and worked steadly. Each worker knew his job and did it well. When finished they cleaned up the work area and departed. My wife and I were well pleased.
