P A ACQUISTO FLOOR SANDING

Went well. On schedule and quoted price

When the rugs were stripped away, you could see where the old foam padding had "melted" to a gooey, rubbery mess that would have to be removed before sanding could proceed. We're talking a couple of hundred square feet of the stuff. The two hard working guys from Acquisto tore into it - hand scraping the mess - and had it cleaned up by day's end. Amazing. The sanding went well, and they were very thorough in their clean-up. Three coats of finish over three days, and a final buffing, and the project was done. That they were able to perform this work while protecting the existing floor molding was remarkable. We were delighted with the outcome and the price seemed reasonable. We had a few initial problems in scheduling/communications, but it all sorted itself out. Nice work, guys!

The workers were very knowledgeable,and on time. My wife felt comfortable with them in he house which was important. They were no nonsense either they just did the job without breaks and were done In two days and back on the third to check on the progress. Very fast which was impressive as well. They were recommended to me from an elderly couple who have been using them for decades, I would not even consider anyone else after the job they did. a+++++

They did a great job. First of all I was impressed that they would take on a relatively small job like this but they did and with the same amount of care and professionalism that they show on larger jobs. In another house they (2007) refinished our whole first floor. They promptly returned my initial call. Stopped by and gave us an appraisal and within a week actually completed the job. Took them a total of four visits to sand, stain and finish but it looks great. Best in the area.

Great job. Sanded, stained, and finished 3 rooms. Moved heavy furniture and replaced it when done. Very little mess. Very impressed!

They look beautiful. It looks gorgeous. They do a great job. We recommended them to other people. My next-door neighbor just had them redo his hardwood floors in his house. They are very professional and we have no problems with how they treat us or what they do. The work always looks gorgeous. I had the floors refinished before moving into the house. One of the Acquisto's (it is a family business) provided an estimate and a start date (three weeks ahead, they are busy). They were a little late starting on the first day, but worked Saturday to make sure it got done on the planned day (so that the floors had time to dry over the long Thanksgiving weekend). They clean up well, there was not much dust for me to deal with later.
