So Pleased, couldnt be more satisfied with the response of returning my call, getting a tech to the house in a very timely manner, the professionalism of all the staff, and the service provided. Caleb was our service guy- he wore slip on booties as he entered our home, assessed the situation then went to truck and retrieved his tools and began unclogging the drain, It was very plugged and he kept after it until he opened the line clearly, showed me the problem areas, cleaned up very well when finished-did a very good job of covering surrounding work area and charged the price as quoted prior to starting job and stuck to that price even though it took quit a bit of time-not his fault and honored my Angie's List coupon Will definently call Mr Rooter again for any future services needed.

The price was way out of line. It was a simple job so the quality was good. Anybody that knew anything about it which was not me could have done it. The quality was fine, there is no gas leaking. I certainly would never ever use Mr. Rooter again. They represented the job much more complicated than it was, they gave us a general price supposedly generous that they wouldn’t charge more than that but of course they should have charged much less, which was obvious from the beginning and he knew it. He went around looking for places all over the house suggesting things like we might have to knock out part of the ceiling, might have to do this and that. We asked him don’t you think I might just be that you could take the plug out of the gas line and put in a flexible pipe from that to the range and he says well we could do that and when he actually came in to do the job, he did just that and it took him just five minutes. It was a five minute job that he wanted all sorts of construction havoc to be done. So they miss represented themselves, the job and the complexity of the job. It was a preposterous price.

Mission accomplished. Had to pay $50 travel fee.

Tom did a great job. Puts booties over his work shoes, which made my wife happy and worked quickly. Asked some questions about some plumbing issues , his answers were helpful.

Overall it went well. They did have to come back once because it started to slow down again about a week later, but the responded quickly, and there was no additional cost.

details above.... And an update. The water pressure became very low again in only one week. Troy came back and was once again professional and efficient. The filter coming into the house from the well was already again clogged and he ran 5 gallons of water from the first spigot (next to the bladder tank) and got a small handful of hard sediment. He checked the pressure gauge and something else that I can't think of the name for at this moment. Both are still working but are probably also getting clogged. The pump ran a longer than normally needed time... It would not be in my best interest to be replacing them before the sediment is fixed he said. I probably have a partial well collapse. I am very pleased that there was no charge for this visit even though he checked so many things and changed the filter for me again.

They responded each time with reasonably prompt no-charge service call. After it went out about 6 times in 7 months, they replaced the inner mechanism under warranty. So far, the problem seems to be solved.

The technician was very polite, very skilled, and did an excellent job of cleaning up after he was done. There was one part that needed to be replaced in the drain that he did not have but said he would return later in the week to replace it. When he didn't return, a quick phone call reminder was all that it took to get the part installed. The owner was very apologetic about the oversight.

It has been 2 1/2 mths since the service and the drain is still fine. They did a great job. Chris knew exactly what needed to be done.

We discovered we did not have water at the beginning of the day. We called Mr. Rooter. Team was sent out quickly so that we did not have to spend the night without water. They are very professional. Would highly recommend them.

Everything was good except the price.

Just to preface, we live in the City of Binghamton and use the public sewer. Our house was built in 1939 and we moved in this past August. Since we moved in, our drain in the basement has drained very slowly. Our washing machine empties into a plastic utility sink which then drains out. Lately the sink has become so slow that it would literally overflow the utility sink and onto our concrete floor. We tried plunging it, pouring muriatic acid in it and snaking it out with a rental snake. None of these seemed to work. We called Mr. Rooter and had and appointment within that week. Being Angie's List members, we also got a 10% discount. The service man who came out was professional and got the job done quickly. I forgot to give him the coupon when he was there but a quick phone call to the office and they were glad to take the 10% off our bill. About a week later we got a phone call from Mr. Rooter asking if everything was still working properly. They even guarantee their work for 60 days. I would definitely call them again and would recommend them to friends and family.

We had a clogged toilet on a Saturday evening and nothing we did could unclog it. Terry came in and fixed it right up for us. We could tell he took pride in his work. Excellent job!

I called Mr Rooter on Saturday late in the morning and a technician was at my house by 1PM. When making the initial phone call I spoke with the owner who was extremely helpful, and courteous. Troy was our technician, he was very informative and answered all my questions. He explained the whole procedure and the cost. He was polite,and easy to talk to. He was extremely tidy. He went above and beyond in all he did. I will always use Mr. Rooter for any plumbing work on my house. I thought the cost to be reasonable. I haven't had to use a plumber before but I do not think the cost was unreasonable. Thank-you Mr. Rooter for your service. I will be a return customer.

Mr. Rooter was prompt in arriving to address my minor leaking issue. I called and a service technician arrived within a half-hour to 45 minutes and was in and out of my house within another 30-40 minutes. The drain has been working very well since the service was performed, with no leaks, but I have noticed lately the the drainbasket in slowly starting to shift again to the way it was seated prior to Mr. Rooter fixing it in April. In addition, the plumber's putty he applied appears to be deteriorating again around the rim of the drain basket. I haven't yet noticed any new leaks, but the plumber's putty appears to be deteriorating. With every wash that is done in that side of our 2-sided sink, the plumber's putty seeps up higher and is flaking away, but so far no leaks, but I have a feeling the drain is going to need to be reseated and re-puttied again.

I didn't use them because I thought they were quite high. I had a guy that did it for under $100. They were professional and polite, but they were expensive.

I called Mr Rooter of Binghmaton based on past reports on Angie's List and they were wonderful. They called my tenant to arrange a time to come in and once they arrived they contacted me to let me know what the problem was, what was needed to correct it and the cost. They did the repair on my verbal authorization and there have been no problems since. The cost was definitely a little less than I had anticipated. Very professional and friendly people throughout the whole process. I would definitely call them again and recommend them to others.

I like the quick service. I thought it was more expensive than it should have been for what he did. The workers were nice and friendly. I probably will use this company in the future.

A down stairs toilet hat already been removed so the technician, after getting his equipment in place, was able to send the cable directly into the main septic line. I suspect if the toilet was in place their would have been an extra charge.The cleanout didn't take long, maybe 45 minutes. The equipment was removed and the area cleaned up. We went over the details and paid the bill by credit card and we now have a working system

They have a weird thing, like a shoppers club, it's a one time fee you pay. After that, you get discounts on everything. When you call them, you get moved to the top of the list. Once a year they come in and check everything, like faucets, the hot water heater, and the toilets.

They were very courteous. They did a good job and ended up charging me less than the estimated price even though they worked a couple more hours. They did a temporary fix when they came to do the estimate. They showed up when they said they would and did a great job. They were a little lax on their cleanup however.

.They are very responsive so that they will come day or night if needed. Their prices are within reason. They do a nice job and clean up after themselves.
