Description of Work: We visited the store to look for a gas burning fireplace to replace our current wood burning fireplace. Then, after finding a couple options, we went home to discuss and decide. Called the store to make an appointment, the call was disconnected. Waited a few hours and they never called me back. Finally I called them, and salesman admitted the call was disconnected from their end, but that he got sidetracked and didn't bother to call us back. Anyway, I made an appointment for the salesman to come and look at the site. He came, looked, took pictures, and said he'd have the installer get in touch with us. In the meantime, we went back to the store, got a price quote from another salesman, and waited to be contacted. We never heard from either of them again. |As a result, we contacted another company for this, and are very pleased with them, their service and their product.

 + -1 moreEverything went well after a minor glitch on the start up day due to the weather, postponing the installation for a day. The quality of the product, the installation, the cleanup, and the responsiveness of the company have been excellent and I continue to use them in my remodeling business as they offer kitchen cabinetry and design.

 + 0 moreWe worked with Jennifer from Kitchen Hearth. She helped design a kitchen perfect for us. It involved adding a wall in order to separate out a first floor laundry and mud room. After those changes she helped us fill in both spaces with cabinetry, shelving, a bench, and backdrops for hooks. She gave us beautiful ideas and good advice, but allowed us as much time as we needed to make decisions. She was not quick to offer her own opinion too early, but when we asked for it, she always gave it and offered good reasons for her thoughts. As soon as she had a good idea of what we wanted, she guided us to the perfect cabinet company for us to have custom color in the cabinet look we wanted for a reasonable price. She knew exactly what to order and was quick to be on the scene to discuss our plan with the installation crew so that all went smoothly. Jennifer was a real pleasure to work with. Kitchen Hearth and Stove is a welcoming place, and Jennifer's intent was so obviously to help us develop and see through a kitchen that is perfect for us.
