Foam It Insulation

I was extremely happy with their service and cleanup. this was completed several years ago before 2012 but I saw this was not reported so I did want to say I was happy with them

They were wonderful to work with. They came early so I could get to work on time. They finished earlier. My house is 20* warmer. So glad I did this. Worth every penny. I'm already saving on my energy bills.

The workers that came out were excellent. They did a really good job.

Don, the technician they sent to perform the test, was a really wonderful guy who took the time to explain all aspects of what he was doing and walk me through the process. When he returned with a complete write-up and list of recommendations a week later he went through each one very thoroughly. I was impressed with this organization.

Foam It Insulation performed a house energy efficiency audit sponsored by NYSERDA in New York State. It was a very thorough audit that took about an hour and a half. Three weeks later the lead technician met with us to share the results and to point out the areas in the house where we could improve the insulation properties and reduce heat loss. There was a list of about a dozen activities we could have performed to reduce our insulation deficiencies with estimated costs. The technician provided answers to our question in a no pressure approach that helped us determine which activities had the best return on our investment and a general estimate on the time to perform those activities. I should note that some of the activities could not be done by FOAM IT, but we were given some potential suppliers' names. It was a good, low sales pressure presentation and we will probably be doing two or three of the activities some time next year. FOAM IT's technician offered to have their office give us a call next year on a date of our choosing and we gave him our best guess date for them to call.

They did not put any pressure on us. They were fair and honest. I thought they really did a great job.

Steve showed up at the scheduled time and got right down to business. Two days after his completion I had the detailed report. If I decide to have the work done i will use him.

young men were extremely polite/ careful of my floors - laying down plastic to keep carpets protected/shoe removal, etc. To areas of the attic where cellulous was not effective (ie sloped areas) foam was used. The owner even developed a and quot;roomand quot; in the attic where I could have storage without the loose insulation being present- using spray foam and foam boards. They crawled under the house (we have no cellar) and placed heavy duty sheeting on the ground as a vapor barrier complete with foam insulation along the foundation. This may not sound difficult but the weather was very cold, the crawlspace access openings small and the distance from ground to floor joists very limited in many spots. They helped us secure financing through NYS energy saving programs. I found these workers to be friendly and polite. They even provided photos for me so that I can show any prospective buyers of our home just what has been done that may not be readily seen (I mean, how many buyers are going to crawl under a building to check something that is not easily seen?) The company came back after the work was done to perform energy measurements that showed how much their services/products had changed our home's weather worthiness. I was very happy with the service provided. Their personnel were careful to answer questions, even making an extra trip to our home to actually see what I was talking about. They treated all my concerns with what to me was a sincere desire to have my questions answered honestly and forthrightly. The energy audit included a check of home appliances and safety items - ie- efficiency of oil burner, presence/operation of smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. They installed safety drains on my heating system, and created a dryer vent and bathroom fan vent that met codes. I'm sure I'v forgotten something here. I assure you, in my opinion, they were very thorough.
