Walls-R-Us

Originally committed to power washing and painting the outside of my home. We had them also do many of the inside rooms, deck, fence and hot tub. Their team of painters worked well together and got the job done. Asked them to come back to fix a few areas that were not done to our satisfaction and they returned to do the touch up work needed.

I perused Angie's list for the first time ever on Thursday, February 16th. I was looking for a company to paint the interior of my house. I came upon Walls-R-Us. They had dozens of good reports and my house was in their service area. I called to set up an estimate. That Saturday, owner Jeffrey Allen came to my house and gave me an estimate within minutes. I didn't bother comparing to other companies. The deal seemed to be reasonable considering the amount of work to be done. A few hours later, his partner, Ashley came to my house to go over colors. The work began Monday morning February 20. And, as all the reports on Angie's List had indicated, Jeff was not only on time, but early. I stayed home that first day to 'supervise'. I was also a little skittish about leaving the house alone with people I did not know. That feeling dissapated, however, and I gave Jeff the keys to the house. I did not return until that Thursday to inspect the work done. Jeff and Ashley both met me at the house that afternoon to make sure I was happy with the work done so far. I was. I was leaving town again and would not be home when the work was to be finished. I paid Jeff in full prior to the work being completed, that's how comfortable I was with him at the helm. All work was to be completed by end of day, Saturday, February 25. They finished on Friday, the 24th. Not often do you find a company who do such good work, give excellent customer service, finish the job early, and stick to the estimate they've given. I wouldn't hesitate to use Walls-R-Us again, or recommend them to anyone.

He missed a couple spots and he came back and re-did them. He did an excellent job. He was very punctual -- he came in earlier than he was supposed to.

This company is the best i have ever dealt with Jeff and Ashley are two of the nicest people i have ever met not only was the job done on time but it couldnt have been a better one. Their crew was very professional,neat and courteous i will NEVER seek another company to do any work in my home or outside without asking jeff if he knows someone that will do the work that he doesnt do i really trust his opinion. I couldnt be happier.

Here on time or early every day. Good workers who required minimal supervision. Owner was on site every day at least once. All wall prep work was done, primer applied and two finish coats. Wallpaper install was nicely done by owner. Faux finish was also nicely done and has generated compliments. Responsible and reliable, and good with pets. Recommended.

We had completed a major renovation of our home, which required painting on both the old and new space. Jeff took a visit to the house a couple of times during the last weeks of renovations and was able to provide an excellent estimate for the work. Ashley also visited the home to provide us with color sampling and matching. The quality of the work by Jeff and team was outstanding. All the new construction areas look great, but even more impressive were the old living spaces (those walls are super old and riddled with dents and scraps). The team did a wonderful job making the rooms look great. We were very pleased and have recommended Walls R Us to friends and family.

I recently had Jeff and his team paint three rooms (family room, dining room, living room) as well as stairs and second floor landing. Their work was exceptional. Jeff and his team were prompt, cleaned up and did a fantastic job painting (patching wall holes, spackling wall cracks, painting trim and molding included). His quotes were well priced and we feel we have a new home thanks to him. I highly recommend Walls-R-Us and we plan on hiring him again soon to do more work around our house.

I explained to Jeff and Ashley that I will be hiring them for future projects. Painters this good are hard to come by.

After going through so much trouble with our contractor, we were apprehensive about hiring anyone for this project. Jeff was highly professional, pleasant, patient, & understanding. Ashley was very helpful with choosing the colors. We are very happy. The end result is wonderful; really high quality. What a difference a professional paint job can make! The project ran smoothly. The painters were punctual, courteous, efficient, and clean. Highly recommended!

Jeff came by as scheduled and evaluated all the rooms I wanted painted. We discussed price and Jeff was willing to match a quote that I had obtained prior. This initially did not include six doors or any trim, as I had originally wanted to keep them stained. I decided to hire Walls-R-Us based on it's excellent reputation and great reviews on Angie's List. Jeff also was able to start on the date I had wanted and promised to get the job done in 4 days. The crew arrived at the time scheduled and began to prep the walls. ALOT of prep work was needed including at least 6 vent holes that needed to be sheet rocked when I changed the heating system. They fixed EVERYTHING, washed the hallway walls (since I didn't do the greatest job taking down the wallpaper) and filled the gaps left between the walls and the ceiling after the moulding was removed. Then I changed my mind and decided that I wanted all 6 doors and the trim in the hallway painted white. Jeff & I negotiated and agreed upon and additional $500. Very fair in my opinion. As the crew progressed, I realized that I was changing my mind...yet again...and now wanted ALL the trim and doors in the house painted. I really cant say enough about how patient and kind Jeff was. He took care of all of my concerns and really just wanted me to be happy. Unbelievable in this day to find a business owner as kind and understanding as Jeff is. Despite all the additional work , the job was indeed completed in 4 days...and only one hour of overtime needed! I really wanted a completely updated and new feel to my home and that's exactly what Walls-R-Us provided. I can't thank Jeff and his crew enough and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for any painting you may require. They really did a stellar job!

Jeffery and the other painters finished powerwashing and painting our house in 3 days. They were very fast workers; neat, quiet and polite. The house looks great now. We would use them again.

We got several estimates for this project and found Walls R Us to have the most realistic and professional approach. Ashley took time out of her weekend to spend hours with us choosing our colors. She was particularly helpful in getting my husband involved in the process so that it wasn't just "the girls" making all the decisions. She did not try to talk us out of our unusual color choices and instead helped us to make it all flow really well and pointed us to an additional color that tied it all together. Afterward, I was hesitant about one of the color choices and Ashley went out of her way to provide me with a sample of the paint so that I could be sure of the choice. Jeffrey and his awesome crew arrived exactly on time each morning and I've never seen a crew get to work so quickly. Jeffrey checked each day's work every morning, answered any questions or concerns we had, and then we all left them to do their work. They were very good at the details of the painting (a lot of difficult edges in our house) and kept the house and its contents clean and free from drips or splatter. Ashley checked in throughout the process, as well, and I cannot imagine a project going more smoothly. I will not hesitate to hire them again when we remodel the upstairs.

This is the most professional craftsman I have ever dealt with. He and Ashley arrived at exactly the time agreed and walked through my apartment noting every detail of what needed to be plastered or fixed. Ashley helped me choose colors and Jeff and I negotiated a very reasonable price. Jeff and his crew arrived at 7:00am on August 19 and worked all day and the following day. There were no drips, splatters or messes. The job was amazing. The first thing guests comment on when they visit is the paint job. Ashley followed up with me two weeks after I moved in to schedule touch ups (only two were needed). I highly recommend this artisan he's fantastic. My decorator and contractor were both impressed enough to say they will recommend him as well.

Prior to the job, they contacted me to confirm my appointment and review my paint choices. They showed up on time and did a thorough job both with painting and clean up. They repaired areas of my ceiling that were damaged and repaired other imperfections on the walls. They also assisted with removing and replacing my curtains and blinds which was very important to me since I could not do that myself. While this only took a few minutes, it was important to me that they willingly took care of this. They did an impeccable job. The walls look perfect and there was not a speck of paint anywhere else but where intended. I'm very pleased with the service provided.

I had my house painted a few months ago by wallsrus , but now it was time to paint my mother-in laws house. My mother in law is in her mid 80's and my husband and I were a little worried but it was time to freshen up. I had such a good experience with jeff the owner I decided to use them again. They went over and above more then I can describe in words for my mother in law Forgetting for a moment how beautiful the job came out . They took every picture down re hung them took eveything out of the closets and put everything back Bought her coffee every morning went to the deli for her to get her milk (things I always do for her but I was very busy at work that week and couldn't) They vacuumed everyday moved the refrigerator and cleaned behind it , my mother in law didn't want them to leave I was so worried because she was is a bit older, that this would be too much for her too handle but thanks to WALLS R US it was a pleasure once again Thank You to Jeff, Ashley and all his guys

I recently joined Angie’s list and again I have to thank everyone for their prior reviews. After reading the reviews on Walls R Us, I decided to contact them about painting my dining room area and living room. I must say I am very glad I did. I contacted them on a Friday and within the same day received a phone call from Ashley. I was able to schedule an estimate with Jeff that coming Wednesday. Once I called and confirmed that I would like to hire them Ashley came out to my co-op and helped me choose a paint color. Since I live in a Co-op anyone who comes to do work needs to supply management with the necessary insurance papers. Ashley was able to turn this process around very quickly. I am happy to report that they came this week and did a wonderful job! There was a lot of repair work that needed to be done to my plaster walls and Jeff did a great job. In all I had my living room / dining area painted along with my hallway five doors, kitchen and ceilings painted. Jeff along with his workers were prompt and very polite. The men cleaned up very nicely when they left and put the furniture back to where it belonged. I was very pleased with everything and will definitely use them again.

Went very well from first phone call to completion of job. Ashley was extremely helpful in selection of paint colors and Jeff was prompt and professional with both the estimate and the actual job. He brought his workers each morning and came back at the end of the day to inspect and supervise the job. Any spots I found that I thought needed a little extra attention were promptly fixed. I got three estimates and his was the best.

In my search for a painter, I wanted someone who came highly recommended. Independent reviews of Walls-R-Us gave straight A reviews from numerous customers. I contacted the company and dealt with Ashley who was extremely professional and pleasant. She coordinated all appointments and communications between us and Jeff the owner. Jeff was professional in every way and gave us a fair estimate. He was straight forward and answered all of our questions to our satisfaction. Ashley came to our home with a display of paint colors for us to choose from. That made it easier for us to match the colors against existing wallpaper we had, as well as saved us from having to do the leg work and shopping elsewhere. Jeff gave us a start date, and Ashley contacted us well in advance to confirm. Jeff and his team were punctual and arrived each day on time. Jeff would communicate with us each morning and ensure everything got off to a good start. His team of workers were reliable, polite, and clean. They worked hard the entire day and did a fantastic job. Jeff would return about a half hour before his team finished for the day. He looked over all the work and made sure we were satisfied as well. Each day, the men made sure they thoroughly cleaned up before they left. The gentleman who hung the wallpaper was a pro. He too, made sure he left everything clean. If this review seems long, it's because I cannot say enough about the company. Jeff and Ashley are not only professionals, but very personable. Each one of Jeff''s workers did a great job. When you make a commitment to use a company, there is no guarantee that things will work out the way you hope. You only know that after the job is done. Well our job was successfully completed and we would recommend Walls-R-Us to everyone. We have already made arrangements for them to return for a future project. THE WORK WAS CLEAN AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY ARRIVED ON TIME AND THE JOB TOOK ABOUT 4-1/2 HOURS .

We were very pleased. They came in on time and we were very pleased with the work. After they left, there was one ceiling where the paint had not dried evenly and we needed them to go over the area. We called and they came back within 24 hours, explained what the problem had been and solved it. We started having open houses the following weekend and the house looked great. We appreciated their promptness and the fact that they came back to deal with an issue that we felt needed additional work. No questions and no requests for any additional money. We were able to sell our house and we plan on using them again when we move into the new house.

Great service! The painters were really nice and professional. Painting was done exceptionally well. Overall, we are really impressed with the level of service and finished product. Would definitely contact Jeff again and refer business to him in the future.

Jeff and is crew arrived at 07:45 am. Then they proceeded to power wash the house. They performed the small repairs that he had promised. After that, painted the walls, the trim and the railings of the stairs. The job was completed in three days as stated in the contract. Also, they were very neat.

It went exeptionaly well. They arrived on time (7:30 am) and did a superb job. Their lines between the ceiling molding and the wall was very straight. They were very clean and did not have a drop of paint where it did not belong. They used two coats of paint on all walls. We were very impressed by the painting over the old paneling. It looks great. They finished the job in 2 days exactly how long they told us it would take.

The job was done in the estimated number of days (5) and went very smoothly.
