Walls-R-Us

We got the whole interior of our house painted. We decided to go with Walls R Us because after getting other quotes, Jeff and Ashley seemed like they were fair and would be the best to work with , and they were! Their team did excellent work and they were clean, punctual, and neat. The both of them were very responsive. Ashley is sweet and has a great sense for picking colors and Jeff was always down to business and even on site many times. They both go above and beyond to make customers happy. Thanks Jeff and Ashley!!!!

They did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend them. They are professional, clean and neat. The walls needed a lot of patch up work and they did a nice job smoothing them out. The whole job was done in three days and I couldn't be more pleased with their work.

We called to make an appointment, and the tech came out to give us a free estimate. 4 weeks later, we made an appointment for 11/2. We spoke to Ashley, who said that we don't need to give a deposit. She calls me back in an hour and said that they couldn't do 11/2, they'll have to move it till 12/14. I kept trying to call about giving a deposit - we wanted to be sure we gave a deposit to retain them for the job. I wanted to know if they would take a credit card. I called and called and couldn't get ahold of them. I finally reached them today, and asked about the deposit to hold my appointment. Ashley said that they couldn't take a credit card. She then said that my date was no longer available. I stated that I would be filing a complaint with Angie's List, and she started cussing me out, so I hung up. She has then started using different telephone numbers to try to harass me.

I was a victim of Sandy. My entire first floor was wiped out. They put me back together. They painted and did a gorgeous job. In 2 days they brought a team of 4 men. They came in and did the prep work. They work as if they are dancers. It looks like they have worked together for quite a while. They just seem to know when one zigged the other would zagged. They are very funny and they enjoy each other, the house was full of laughter, they were a little noisy at times but this didn't not bring down the quality of their work. 750-1000 sq ft. done in 2 day.

This was a very big job. We had three other estimates. Walls r us was 4,000 cheaper than anybody else. People somtimes take advantage because of what my house looks like and where I live. Obviouly jeff was not one of those people. My cousin is an angie list member and recomended walls r us. I joined so i can make my own review. After deciding to go with walls r us, ashley came over my house and met with me and my wife three times as all construction was being done. I know we were being annoying but ashley was willing to come back and help the colors even on her day off. I know this was a free service but i would have paid 1,000 for the color consultion. She was spot on with the colors. Now as for work completed, it took 2 weeks to complete. A crew of four were here everyday from 730-430 till the job was complete. Jeff was there twice a day to oversee the job. Ashley came as they were putting the colors on the wall to make sure we were happy with everything. And happy we were. I can go on and on about the quality of work. How all the corking around windows and trim were perfect and all the line work was perfect as well. They also did an amazing job on the outside as well. They stained and painted the exterior of our home. I have nothing negative to say about this company. Thank you jeff and ashley

A lovely young lady named Ashley arrived at the designated time and was very professional and knowledgeable. She helped me pick colors for the walls in all the rooms so they were flowing yet colorful, matching the small accents in the cabinets and mirrors. Well done Ashley.

The experience was excellent. The estimate was prompt, and then the owner sent his decorator to help me pick color. I gave her the deposit and we scheduled a date. The team arrived right on time, laid drop cloths and plastic like professionals, and completed the entire job in a work day. They were professional right from the start. The job is impeccable. At the end they cleaned up, replaced all my fixtures, wall plates, and even offered to help move my furniture back in place. It was a great experience. I would use them again.

There were two guys doing the painting. They started the job and I trusted them so I left while they did the work. It turned out beautiful! They were very clean and their service was great! I would hire them again without doubt.

Jeff and a crew of four started on a Thursday and finished Saturday (one half day Sat.). The quality of the work was the highest and communication between Jeff, Ashley and ourselves was always available. His courtious replys and attention to all our concerns was excellent. They cleaned up and the house was in perfect shape when they left. I would recommend him to anyone and walls-r-us deserves a five star rating.

My wife and I purchased a ?Walls-R-Us Faux Painting + Color Consultation Angie?s List Deal? for our bedroom. Ashley from Walls-R-Us set up the consult and scheduled the job within a week after our initial purchase. My wife and I were so happy that we had her come back the next day and faux paint an accent wall in our living room and dining room. It was a pleasure dealing with Ashley. She is very meticulous, easy going and really knows her stuff. I would definitely recommend Ashley to friends and family.

After having a negative experience recently with a BIG DEAL Roofer so called"estimator" this bIG DEAL was a breath of fresh air ! Ashley called the day after I purchased and she came to the house with samples. I explained what kind of look I was trying to achieve and she guided me by showing samples of color. We agreed on one and set a date for the painting. She arrived a the scheduled time and began her work. I was most impressed that she stopped shortly after she covered a section to say she was not 100 % happy with how the combo color was going on and wanted to go out and get some gold color. She came back with a small amount to mix and it was MAGIC ! The color is magnificent and the walls look rich and Tuscan. THis lady knows her craft and I highly recommend!

Crew arrived on the time we were told, and worked straight thru the day. They took great care to cover the floors and furniture; they treated my home as their own. My wife and I were very impressed with the attention to detail and the finished job. We would defiantly use them again

Jeff is a no sales pitch guy, he just tells you what he is going to do and then gets it done. I like him. On the last day of the job he came by without the need to call him and directed his crew of painters with the final touches. I had a list of things that I wanted to have fixed and he had already seen the details and corrected them before I even talked to him, so he knows what doesn't look good. I am going to use Jeff's crew "Walls R Us" for inside work on my house. I am happy. Ed

We couldn't be happier with the results. Our home was covered in wallpaper and needed a complete interior paint job . Jeff and his team did an amazing job removing all wallpaper within a couple days, repaired walls (plaster), ceilings and painted. The job was done within the specified time frame with care and professionalism. Jeff and Ashley were extremely responsive during each step of the process. It was refreshing to work with people that I felt cared about our house as much as we do. I would definitely hire them again.

Jeff and Ashley are amazing. Very helpful and professional. The installers were clean and respectful. They did a beautiful job and are coming back to do more work. They were professional throughout and came when they said they would. They also did a great job painting part of the exterior of our house and inside the house as well. They worked quickly and we were 100% satisfied with the work done. The price was fair compared to others so we would definitely go with this company again in the future. Highly recommended.

We first hired Walls R Us when we purchased our home and needed it painted. Ashley and Jeff worked with us remotely as we were still in the city and they painted our house before we moved in. They were flexible in terms of scheduling (we had to move the date due to the closing being rescheduled) and also offered us a free color consultation. We received a few different estimates but chose Walls R Us based on previous Angie List reviews, responsiveness, and competitive pricing. Jeff also stood by his claim that he will get the painting done on time, before our move-in date. During the house painting Jeff texted me photos of the work so I can see the finished product and what a difference it made. During the most recent kitchen painting, he visited his crew to make sure everything is going well and I appreciated that. Overall, we were very happy with the service and expect that we will be calling Walls R Us the next time we need something painted.

Disappointing that a company with good reviews can be so customer "unfriendly".

Ashley and Jeff were a pleasure to d eal with. They evaluated the job and came back with a price. They tried to fulfill our requests and fix any imperfections we saw. Once that was done they walked through with a final inspection. They were professional and Ashley was kind and kept her word. The only recommendation is to have a Forman on hand to check as the job is in progress for any issues or imperfections.

Outstanding job - we were very happy. The price was excellent. Unfortunately, we had to reschedule because of a snowstorm, but they did that quickly, showed up promptly, and did an outstanding job. They also picked up the paint for us because they got a discounted price.

This is the third time I've used Walls-R-Us and the experience was the same -- great! Soon after I called Jeff was by and gave us an estimate. After we agreed to move forward, Ashley came by another day and gave us a free color consultation which confirmed our thinking in terms of colors to use. The three painters who did the job were also great. They didn't rush things but were deliberate, hard-working, and neat. They spent the needed time to patch, caulk, and prep the walls before they started painting. We had some water damage from Sandy which they also took care of without being asked. We were happy that they were able to complete the job in one day. From start to finish, everyone did the job as if it were their own house they were painting. We couldn't ask for more.

My husband and I recently purchased a home and we wanted to paint the interior, which was completely wallpapered, before moving in. There was also one bedroom that required wood paneling to be removed before painting. Jeff was able to come by for an estimate within a day or two of calling. They had the lowest estimate out of the three painters we contacted. Ashley came for a color consultation a few days before painting began. My husband and I already had an idea of different colors we wanted to use in the rooms, but Ashley was able to guide us into choosing the best shades and made helpful suggestions about the flow of colors. She was a pleasure to work with. Jeff and his crew were always punctual, professional and accommodating. They completed the entire house right on schedule (in 6 days) even though they ran into a few obstacles -- there was a bedroom with three layers of wallpaper, mildew that had to be cut out of the wall in one area of the hallway that required additional sheetrock to fix, and extra pieces of sheetrock for an unfinished wall behind the wood paneling. Jeff kept me updated on their progress and explained everything to me. They even went above and beyond by disposing of the wood paneling according to my town's (very specific) guidelines. Everything looks amazing! The walls were properly prepped and had three layers of paint. We are both extremely pleased with the quality of their work. We would definitely hire them again.

We were very pleased with the clean and professional paint service by Walls R Us. The owners, Jeff and Ashley Allen, are reliable, courteous and accommodating people. They were eager to help us and came to our home to give us a free estimate and color consultation. The painting crew worked efficiently, unbelievably neat, clean and organized. They did not get one drop of paint on the floor! The painters listened carefully to our instructions and gladly took care of whatever request was made. The job was properly manned and came in on time. They showed respect for our home and genuinely cared about the quality of the work they were doing in our home. It was a pleasure to have them in our home. They do quality work and we would highly recommend them.
