Walls-R-Us

Jeff and Ashley were a pleasure to work with right from the outset. Jeff's estimate covered all of the details and I was aware of potential problems before we agreed to have the work done. When bare studs were revealed beneath the paneling, I was prepared for the additional cost. Ashley helped my wife and daughter in selecting the paint colors, over-ruling me on the shade of green for the living room. Once the painting began, I realized that they had selected the right colors - the room is brighter and more inviting than if they'd gone with the darker shade I had wanted. Ashley is very much in tune with design elements and was able to transform our ideas into a complete remodeling of our shared living spaces. The crew were on time every day and were well-coordinated. The only problem we encountered was where my instructions were unclear - an empty electric switch box I had forgotten to ask them to fill, for example. Regardless, they were professionals and handled the late requests without hesitation. Except for the moved furniture, they left nothing out of place at the end of each day. The carpenters installed the crown molding one evening after the paint crew had cleaned up and left for the day. As with the painters, they, too were well-versed in their tasks and did an outstanding job with the molding. Jeff and Ashley were on site every day, too, checking that things were proceeding as planned (or ahead of schedule as it turned out) and spending time with us to ensure that we were happy with the work. With the work completed, it's like living in a different home. The crown molding catches the eye of everyone who visits and the colors are perfect. We're more than satisfied with the work that was done and we'll be working with Jeff and Ashley on any work we do in the future. As a side note, all of the painters, the carpenters, and especially Ashley and Jeff were wonderful with our autistic son. They went out of their way to make the place a little more livable for him - Walls R Us are a very special team and we appreciate the consideration they afforded him! Walls R Us has now painted our entire house - inside and out. Jeff and Ashley are very professional and responsive. Workers are great and Jeff makes sure the results look perfect. He even went out of his way to hunt down specific shutters we wanted. I highly recommend their services!

They were very professional, polite and prompt. Ashley, the color consultant, even came over to guide us in our selection before the guys got started. They taped off all rooms that they were sanding in with plastic drop cloths to keep dust down. They got on their hands and knees with a sponge to clean the floors, and wipe down everything in the rooms before they left. They take down window treatments carefully and replace them just as carefully. I highly recommend them. They did a beautiful job!

I could not have been more pleased with the workmanship provided by the team! They were neat, always on time, completed the project when they said they would, and did an outstanding job. Jeff and Ashley were always immediately responsive to questions and changes in the contract. Having dealt with many service providers in the last few years, Walls R Us are surely in a class of their own. I would highly recommend them!

We really like Walls-R-Us. Jeff and Ashley are a great team. They are very responsive and accommodating in terms of timelines. We first used them prior to moving to our house and have used them two additional times. Their pricing is competitive and work is of high quality. Ashley also helped us pick the colors for the various rooms in the house. During the most recent job, we required slight touch ups after the installation of crown molding and they sent their guys back without any problems to address the issue. They made sure touch up was done prior to Thanksgiving as that was the timeline we initially gave them for the project. They also painted the entire ceiling free of charge as some parts of it around the room perimeter got scratched during the removal of paneling. Jeff's crew is polite and very hard working. They recently put in 10-12 hour days so they could get the job done quickly. Jeff comes by for all the jobs to make sure all is going well. Overall, our experience with them has been very positive and we expect to use them again in the future.

Job was excellent and exceeded my expectations: -- painters arrived early and on-time. -- set up plenty of drop cloths from the front door and upstairs to the bedroom being painted. They were extremely neat from start to finish. -- very accommodating in moving an extremely heavy wall unit which I thought might have to be "painted around." -- took their time with the extensive preparation needed and the results were amazing -- weren't in a rush to get the painting done -- did two coats on everything. -- Price was very reasonable given the amount of work required. -- The room will go from being one I didn't want people to see to one we'll be showing off.

I had a great experience working with Jeff ( the owner ), and Ashley ( helped my Mom with color choices). Jeff was friendly, knowledgeable, and very reasonable with his price. The painters did a great job and were very neat and clean. The price included all the paint and labor. The rooms came out beautiful and I can't wait for them to paint inside my house next! I will recommend Walls R Us to all my family and friends.

I purchased the faux painting package from Angie's List. The owner and faux painter were very nice when they came for the estimate. While the work was in progress, the owner harassed me into calling Angie's List and dialed the number himself, staying in the room while I talked. The bedroom painting was very good but the kitchen was horrendous. I didn't realize how bad for a few days. In the meantime, they did the other two rooms. When I called and said the kitchen didn't look good, they came back and did some touch up which didn't help at all and may have made it worse. They were still being nice. The next time they came back, they offered to repaint the kitchen a single color for free. I thought this was fair but they said I had to wait until spring. I called at the end of April, 6 weeks into spring, and she got very snippy with me. She called several weeks later and told me that I had to pay for the paint and it would cost me an additional $200 to paint the attached laundry room which is 4x5 with three doors and wall cabinets--not very much painting. When I indicated that seemed unreasonalbe she started screaming at me and I hung up, after saying I was going to put this review on Angie's List. She suggested I could put it anywhere I wanted. The actual painters are good. The owner and the woman who works for him as a "color consultant" and faux painter are very difficult to get along with and she is downright nasty.

Showed up as planned, worked very hard, 3 man crew. Very neat and careful. Very high ceiling and walls

I found them on Angie's List. They were very reliable, and they did a good job. I think that the price though not low was certainly reasonable for the job. They were responsive to my phone calls. They followed up afterwards to see if I was satisfied. I would recommend them. As a matter of fact, just yesterday I recommended them to a neighbor.

Called for an estimate and Ashley got right back to us. We met with the owner Jeff and he was able to give the estimate immediately. Some other painting contractors took days and one even took a week. I first met with Ashley and told her of my ideas and she came with swatches and did an amazing job helping me pick the color. I also had 11 new interior doors that I wanted stained and she helped with choosing the right shade to match my new kitchen cabinets. It was quite a large job and I was amazed when I was told it would be completed in three days... I also had quite a bit of spackling to be done on a damaged wall and it came out perfect. They came with a crew of five men and they were friendly, courteous and worked so well together. Everything received three coats of paint and the interior doors received one coat of stain and two coats of poly. Jeff came to the house at least once everyday if not more and checked on the job.. Any concerns or touchups were taken care of immediately. Even after the job was complete Jeff told me if there were any problems he would come back. They were very punctual and worked a full day everyday as well as being extremely neat and careful and when they left they cleaned everything... I can not say enough good things about Jeff and his crew.. Then there is Ashley.. She is so nice and caring and made me feel so comfortable and at ease and assured me everything would be beautiful. (and it is!!!!).. They went above and beyond my expectations and I recommend them highly....

Angela and Jeff are an awesome team. I contacted Angela because I needed help choosing paint colors for my interior after renovating my house - we added a second floor. She responded to my call right away, we made an appointment to get together and she helped me pick all the colors for the second floor (bedrooms and baths) and open first floor plan. I loved all her recommendations! She even came back a second time once I had all the tiles placed in the bathrooms. Jeff came shortly after to give us a price to paint everything and for all the work he had ahead of him, his price was fair. He painted all our new rooms, entire first floor, plus staircase, railings and built ins and mantle. Jeff and his team are very professional, reliable and very neat! They came back to do touch ups and worked with my schedule when I needed them to start the closets first and the railings last. I would use them again in the future and recommend them to anyone looking for painters. A++!!

The bricks had been painted white for years and they painted them to look like natural bricks. It came out amazing!!! It looks better than I could have ever imagined.

They did a wonderful job, so wonderful that they are coming back at the end of the week. Very neat, clean, on time. Gave us more than we even bargained for.

Their workers were polite and careful. We had only one problem which the owners wife attempted to solve. We didn't expect to be left with empty paint cans and leftovers from other jobs to dispose of. Our town consider this hazardous waste and we had to dispose of it in November as part of our STOP program.

Could not be happier with how everything turned out. Was very unsure of what color to use for the living room, but the first one Ashley recommended seemed to click. Now every time I walk in I am thankful I chose it, it looks great. Jeff and co did an amazing job in all the rooms and were extremely accommodating, I had not yet moved in so I gave them a key and let them go to town. Jeff texted pictures after each day's work was complete which was a huge help. The bedrooms all turned out better than I could have imagined, just a great job all around.

Walls R Us arrived on time early Monday morning and in 4 days completed my entire downstairs including repair work, ceilings and moldings, stair case and upstairs hallway. They were extremely neat, clean, courteous and reliable. I will have them back shortly to do upstairs bedrooms and do some faux painting on my fireplaces. Cannot recommend them strongly enough

This was a great experience. They were very punctual and showed up everyday when they were supposed to. They were very neat and careful. They handled all of the furniture carefully and covered everything. They really treated the home like it was there own. Everyday they did a great job of cleaning up and would even vacuum every night. Ashley and Jeff are really nice people and very professional.

Jeffery came for a consultation on Thursday morning. He was on time and very professional. His consultation was quick and his price was fair. I didn't make my decision right away, but he still left the quote and told me that they would be able to do the job on Saturday. This was a great plus! He left and about 2 hours later I called the office and made arrangements for the crew to come out on Saturday. I already had my color so the process was super easy! The call was professional, pleasant and quick (I like quick). I was informed of the time they would arrive and that everything would be done in one day. Saturday morning they were right on time. Actually a little early, but they waited a bit before coming in. It was pretty early about 7:20am or so. So I thought it was nice that they waited closer to 7:30am. They came right in and got to work. Jeffery came and supervised for the first 25 minutes or so. He said they would be finished by 2pm. The crew was awesome! They worked well together, moving swiftly around the house. Each man seemed to have a role and they each handled it. They were careful with the furniture and very neat. They took two breaks (for the paint to dry) but the still looked around to make sure that the walls were prepped correctly. As Jeffery said, they were done at 1:50pm. They cleaned up perfectly after they were finished. And put everything the way it was when they walked in. Jeffery came back and made sure we checked the work before they left. He said that if we found something that didn't look right we could call him and they would come back. To me that says a lot because it means that they stand by their work and value the customer. I really appreciate the professionalism and care they had while making my home more beautiful just in time for the holidays. .

Called up to schedule an appointment. Jeff came and gave us an estimate. We liked him from The start. He was very knowledgeable and honest. We hired him on the spot. Then ashley came and gave us a color consultation and was knowledgeable as well.. Weeks later he came to start the job. The were on time, did a fabulous job. They were very neat which is very important to us. We already recommended them to our parents. thanks jeff and ashley!

I would not use them again unless I got a sincere apology directly from the management. The administrative office's professionalism was deplorable! I called to schedule an appointment on Sat and they booked me for an appointment on Mon at 9am (fine). It is now Mon at 8:30am, I literally stepped away to the bathroom (for a few min) and receive a call/voicemail from a Blocked number that state's "since you are not around for our 9am appointment, I will try to stop by at around 11am." Please note that I was there and when I tried to return the call, I couldn't because the number was blocked and their offices were not open yet! I then get a call at around 9:30am from the administrative person, confirming the 11am reschedule. I mention to her that I will be running about 15-30min late for that 11am, however would still be happy to keep the appointment. She then goes on to say that they cannot give me the 15min due to an already scheduled noon appointment! I offer to compromise and assure her that I can be there at 11:10/15 and she states that he can absolutely not do that. I am very nice in reiterating my frustration from the morning's reschedule and attempt to explain to her that just taking off more time from work is not that easy and would prefer to hold today's appointment. ...this is where it becomes unfortunate... She goes on to repeatedly call this situation and my "inflexibility" to reschedule another appointment very "Awkward." I asked her why she was saying that...as I thought I was compromising, but rather than answer or attempt to understand my concerns she only persisted with the name calling. She continued to antagonize me, even called me "odd." Even if was, which I'm clearly not in the situation (as I am only asking them to accommodate me for 10min as I did them), you should never call a repeat client "Odd." The sad part was that when I asked to speak to the manager, he refused to speak with me (a person that already paid them $1,000 for a prior job) and condoned this behavior and treatment of clients!! I am very disappointed with this ent. I will take my business elsewhere.

They were great. They were very prompt and able to fit us in. They were very detailed and professional. They did a great job.
