All I can say isâ ¦ AL!!!! Thatâ s all you need to know when it comes to Tek Home Improvement! Al is just amazing! So easy to work with, communicate with and he goes above and beyond to make sure he does good quality work at a fair price. He is reliable, on time, courteous and friendly. Al, worked with us every step of the way to make sure our vision came to life. He had fantastic ideas and recommendations and it was a true pleasure doing business with him. We have many more home improvement projects lined up and Al is our new go to guy! If you are tired of playing games with other contractors and paying insane prices for low quality work you need to give Al a call ASAP!!!!

I was looking for a contractor that would start the project right away. I had one which we got the quote agreed but never showed up or call or text from him. But, here comes Al (the owner) who called back right away bc I called him on a Sunday. I learned about his work from a co-worker and just had her basement done by Al and I love it. He started the project on Monday and it was done in about 6 weeks. Very professional and friendly. My family and I are looking forward to have our next project with him and his company. I have already spread good words about his work to my friends. Highly recommended.

the pro has no license, the pro left the led light feel out of the ceiling, the door of the fuse box off the Hitchens, some area needs plaster and paint, the laundry room need drywall the bean is exposed, the cabinets need handles, and all areas for consent have been inspected and review and mark to the pro to redo and correct. The pro does not communicate very well with his consumer. This pro better comeback to repair everything he damaged. The pro claims to be an electrician.

I normally do not write reviews but I felt this time I had too. I wanted to express our appreciation for the excellent work that we received from TEK Home Improvement. AL (the owner) did an excellent job taking the time to understand our needs. He delivered a project that not only met our expectations but also kept us in our budget. His desire to achieve and complete this project was outstanding. We appreciate your professionalism, your sensitivity to our needs, and your desire to achieve our completed project in a timely manner. It was a pleasure to have a company like TEK Home Improvement built our dream basement and for this will be forever grateful. We HIGHLY recommend TEK Home Improvement to everyone looking to remodel a basement. Great group of guys. You will NOT be disappointed.

I dont normally write reviews and this one is really late but I must shine light on this company. Everytime enter my basement, I am wonderfully reminded of the work, professionalism, passion that L provided for me. He heard my vision, cries, concerns and desires. As such, he sought to address them all. There is no perfect person though I believe L gave me his best work in all areas of my remodeling project and I am truly happy with the outcome. My basement is also a reflection of personal triumphs in my life and this is reflective because of TEK Home Improvement. L renewed my thoughts about hiring contractors. Before him, I was skeptical and turned off to say the least. He will forever, as long as he remains in business, be in my contact list. Good work and a great person!

Al is THE best contractor I've ever worked with. Full stop. He is super friendly, and proud of his work. He's not going to short change you - do a "good enough" job - and get on to the next job. He made sure all the little details were done well. All the way down to making sure the screw slots on the lights were going up and down ;-) High standards! There were a few standout things that made him the best: 1.) We had several water leaks mid way through the project. During one of them, Al rushed over at 2AM with a tarp and a wet dry vac to stop the flooding and help clean up. It was incredibly stressful for us - Al calmed us down, and showed us the remediations he was making. That went a long way for our peace of mind. 2.) Fast work, working late into the evening sometimes. He had the job 80% of the way done in about 3 weeks. Had it not been for the those water leaks we would have been done in 5 weeks, and his estimate said it would take 8. He continued working past his crew going home (at 5 or 6) until 7 or 8pm sometimes, because he enjoys what he does and it shows. 3.) He's exclusively focused on and experienced with basement finishing. He's not a "I can do anything" general contractor (though I'm 100% convinced that he could if I had asked). That kind of specialization means he's seen a lot of what others have done and how it turns out in the end. Thank you for the great work, Al and team!

Al and his team did a great job remodeling our basement. Was dingy, ugly and unsafe. Now it’s a great space for family to hangout. I would highly recommend to others. Can see us using him again for other projects.

Al and his team did an outstanding job on our basement. It went from the creepy basement that you see in horror films, to a beautifully finished basement playroom for our toddler with plenty of closet space and a brand new laundry room. Al and his team were on time everyday and accommodated all of our requests even mid project. They were neat and cleaned up after themselves each day. Their craftsmanship was excellent in almost all areas. We highly recommend TEK home improvements if you are planning on renovating your basement.

After having several people come into our house for estimates and idea's and almost giving up on home advisor, Al gave us a second call and after his coming over and going over everything with my wife and being very thorough with what we had done we decided to hire Him. He was punctual and got the job done right and in a timely manner. We were very satisfied with his work and are going to hire him to do our other projects,,,

I usually don't write reviews, but in this case I would like to share my experience with Custom Tek Home Improvements. First, I had several estimates from different companies and their prices were a way higher than Home Improvement. Mr Rodrigues (AL) is a great guy and his crew is wonderful, they are very professional and they did the work exactly as promised. I will highly recommend them and diffinelty hire them again.

Mr. Rodrigues is a charming gentleman who does excellent work. He redid our basement after several floods & repaired the wall crack that was the source of the floods. He also repaired any other area he encountered on the job including such as a hole in the bathroom sheetrock and a door that didn't fit the doorway properly. We were very pleased with the work Mr. Rodrigues did & hired him again to replace two toilets. Mr. Rodrigues worked on the basement with his sister. I don't know if she still works with him but her work was also excellent. We highly recommend Custom Tek.

Al is a very experienced contractor ,our project was large and they handled it easily,made suggestions to improve our design where needed,always did exactly what he promised and they work clean,I would hire him again and recommend them to friends
