Description of Work: We have Merry Maids coming every two weeks. They have been pretty good overall, no complaints. They don't need much direction and are pleasant enough to deal with. They work hard and have always been on time. | |We have a 2 bedroom apartment with a dog.

Description of Work: Merry Maids sounds like a factory. The price is outrageous and I can't imagine that 2 people could clean my 2 story house efficiently in 2 hours. The reviews are awful and that is what changed my mind about using them. They are unreliable, unprofessional and not trustworthy. The approximate price I was quoted over the phone was between $120-$220, the actual price was closer to $300 and I had to sign a contract which is unreal. This company is too big. I'd rather stay with my recommended cleaning ladies from friends.

+ -1 moreVery overpriced. They came late, said it was a three hour job instead of two and only stayed two hours. So, they didn't finish. Which is just as well, since they only did a fair job, not a good job. I found a lady who did a better cleaning job for half the price.
Description of Work: Two hours for two people to clean a one-bedroom apt.

+ -1 moreThey did an excellent job. I watched as they worked and I was happy with the work they did. When they were finished they asked me to look it all over to be sure I was completely happy before they left. It did cost more because it was an extensive cleaning. I am very pleased and everything was done how I expected. This is the first time I've had an outside source come in and clean my house.
Description of Work: They vacuumed and dusted and cleaned all of the ceiling fans through out my home. They cleaned all of the baseboards, the refrigerator, all of the kitchen and bathroom cabinets and the window seals.

+ -1 moreMERRY MAIDS DOES A GOOD JOB. THEY ARE ALWAYS PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL. THE GIRLS REALLY DO A THOROUGH JOB AS WELL. I HAVE NO PROBLEMS AT ALL WITH THIS COMPANY.

Description of Work: GENERAL HOUSECLEANING DONE TWICE A MONTH UNLESS NEEDED MORE. THEY MOP, SWEEP, VACUUM, DISHES, BATHROOM, DUST, WINDEX, AND DO ALL THE GENERAL HOUSECLEANING.

+ -1 moreI HAD TROUBLE SCHEDULING THE APPOINTMENT BUT THE ACTUAL CLEANING GIRLS WERE GREAT. THEY WORKED LIKE LITTLE DEMONS, THEY WERE SO FAST and I WAS SURPRISED AT THE AMOUNT OF WORK THEY DID IN THE TIME PERIOD.
Description of Work: THEY SENT 2 PEOPLE TO CLEAN MY HOME FOR HALF A DAY.

+ -1 moreI HAVE USED MERRY MAIDS FOR YEARS BECAUSE OF THE EXTRAVAGANT CLEANING JOB THEY DO ON THE HOUSE. MY FRIENDS HAVE ALSO USED THEM SEVERAL TIMES IN THE PAST.
Description of Work: THEY MOPPED THE FLOORS AND CLEANED THE BATHROOMS, BEDROOMS AND KITCHENS. I ALSO HAD EXTRA CLEANING DONE ON THE MICROWAVE AND THE STOVE.
