Our home had won an award from the Long Beach Historical Society for the beauty of its historic renovation in 2007. The greatest challenge of the reconstruction of our home following Hurricane Sandy was finding an honest and experienced contractor who would understand our aesthetic and be able to reconstruct our home as a storm-resistant gem. Donal Finlay (Ballymore Homes) was not only knowledgeable, experienced and highly skilled both as contractor and carpenter, he is an engineer-artist. He not only has made our home structurally stronger and noticeably more energy-efficient, he also made architectural suggestions that enhanced the attractiveness and resale value of the property without over-improving it.. Donal is a pleasure to work with because of his easy demeanor and extensive expertise as a contractor. He is open-minded, empathetic, courteous and highly professional. He is truly a pleasure to work with. It should be noted that ALL of the subcontractors that Ballymore Homes hired to work in our home were equally highly skilled, courteous, clean, well-spoken and very open to answering questions. We enjoyed having them in the house because of their high degree of professionalism, courtesy and cleanliness.
